  1. I mean his mum is 100% the queen ogre that helped them escape with the fruit, as they were leaving the ogre heard bean call him elfo and the ogre was all like “elfo!??!?” - and the whole reason they knew where to get the fruit was because elfo’s dad said he went there and saw it
  2. I has so much hope for this story line at the beginning 😞 I thought they had it all planned out now I fear it's gonna be another black hood situation 😞 My (obviously completely wrong) 'theory' is that Edgar is the original G&G king. So we know the game originated at the sisters but it obviously made it out in to the world since 'The Midnight Club' were playing it. So I think maybe Edgar wasn't always called Edgar - and he went to Riverdale High at the same time as everyone else but was a complete outsider and was invisible to everyone around him so he hated everyone. He got to his tipping point when he found out that The MC all became friends when they were meant to hate each other and felt even more alone now that in his eyes the whole of the school's cliques were coming together minus him. So he became the original G&G king. And when he and his cult came to town, he wanted to get all the kids of the town playing the game to get revenge, but obviously Hiram/Tallboy and now Moose's dad started using it to their advantage. And no one realises he used to live in Riverdale including his daughter and he created the cult after leaving Riverdale so he had a place where he felt he belonged. *and breathe* But it's more likely to be Phil or Sue that have lived down the road for years. P.S. Did anyone else go on Netflix today all excited completely forgetting it's not on for a few weeks, or was that just me.
  3. She could of yes but unfortunately it's too late for that now, so she really does have no where to go. And yes Cheryl is a minor but her Nana is now her legal guardian, if her Nana really had died in the attempt of getting rid of her Cheryl wouldn't of been able to get emancipated because you NEED a guardian, otherwise you're just a run away who can be dragged back home over and over again. Look at it this way: you're saying Betty doesn't need a guardian because it's just a tv show, so why can't she keep going back to her sh**y parents since it is just a tv show. I agree with you, it is boring watching it go round and round. And unfortunately we did miss a lot of things I too would of been interested to see in the time jump, but that is just how it is. Its been and gone now, sometimes I think we all get moments wishing they would of written certain plots or scenes a different way but they did it their way and we just have to deal with it without looking too much into everything they do or don't do.
  4. Clifford died?? You can't just take someones house and money away from them no matter how awful they are. In S2:E28 they had Clifford's will reading: Thistle House went to Nana Rose; Thornhill went to Penelope (but was burnt down by Cheryl); half the money went to anyone in Riverdale who could prove they were Blossom by blood; and the other half went to Jason and Cheryl (but with Jason being dead it just went to Cheryl). The whole reason Claudius and Penelope wanted to kill Nana Rose and send Cheryl off to SOQM was because they wanted the house and the money. But when Cheryl emancipated herself from her mother she appointed Nana Rose as her legal guardian, then they kicked out Penelope and Claudius to live in the barn on the property. She could but she's still a minor, meaning to get emancipated she will need a legal guardian who I think she must then have to live with. Now I dunno about you but I can't see anyone who would be Betty's legal guardian. The only person that would do it is in prison and is just as terrible so there really is no where for Betty to go. I'm not trying to minimise how horrible Alice is and has been but if you're going to look into it this deep you need to remember that Alice genuinely thinks that SOQM is a good place that helps people. Alice went there willingly when she was Betty's age and gave birth to Charles and apparently had a fabulous time. Also how was she meant to know they were force feeding her and the other patients drugs? No one knew that, it was Hiram's secret plan. And since the episode when Betty was back at home was a few weeks after she left SOQM they could of argued about it off camera - maybe she decided it would be better to put up with her mum for the sake of the other kids now living with them. Who knows? Something could of happened but unfortunately not everything needs to be shown. The show wants to move the plot forward and there's no real resolution to your mum being a d**k anyway, just have to put up with it until you're old enough to leave legally.
  5. But that's the thing...they are just teenagers. The only one that I agree didn't make any sense was the Cheryl situation, there is absolutely no plausible reason that she would host the funeral and have her mother there. However all the others make sense to me, at the end of the day family is family. If we really want to view it 'realistically' (I use that term loosely) in Ronnie's case many people find it easy to forgive others if the crime/act wasn't done to them personally, and someone in your family nearly dying will make you gravitate towards them. Similar with Jughead, he's probably rationalised his Dad's actions by telling himself he only acts like a noob when he's been drinking and that a lot of the time most of his actions are trying to help Jug even if it is in an extremely misguided way. Betty's situation is unfortunate, but if she left where would she go? She now has no money and she can't just move into a trailer with her boyfriend because legally Alice can just tell the authorities and have her brought straight back home - she doesn't have the luxury Cheryl did in that no one's died to give her all the money and a house in their will. This doesn't mean that their actions are forgiven, but the plot does need to move on, we can't sit and watch every single bad thing that the parents in Riverdale have done be resolved because it would take forever and would frankly be boring. Or you could just say Riverdale is Riverdale, and try not to look so deep into everything.
  6. It was an episode or two back - Reggie was crossing the boarder on the sly to collect the alcohol in that van that the 'Gargoyle Gang' (I can't with that name lol) kept stopping to beat him up. I don't think you should take this as he knows and doesn't care. I don't think he's liked Alice for a long time (rightfully so) but instead he was using her and taking advantage of the fact she is now a news reporter? something on television? to his advantage to save his dad. It wasn't particularly about Alice, more about her job so it could of been any old character in that job he would of needed rather than Alice specifically, she just happens to be doing that job now. I also took this as only parental figure she can talk to. I'm sure she does tell Jughead everything (albeit off camera) but if I'm worried about something I don't want to just chat to my boyfriend about it I want to be able to discuss it with at least one of my parents, and considering Alice is the one stealing her money, unfortunately the only other parent she has is Hal. WhosThatGirl , I hope this has maybe helped, I know everyone views things a different way but maybe hearing how someone else has viewed those scenes could ease your worry, I'm sure Bughead is fine. They just can't always show every discussion that they have. Just be glad they don't have sex every time there's an issue like Varchie did, that was really getting on my nerves in the end.
  7. FRED PLEASE COME AND TAKE VEGAS HOME WITH YOU; ARCHIE IS UNABLE TO LOOK AFTER HIMSELF LET ALONE A DOG
  8. Favourite line of the episode "I'm not a sixteen-year-old nerd" - Hiram Lodge
  9. Am I the only one who really enjoyed this episode? I've seriously watched it three times already tonight. I personally think the writers know exactly what they're doing this time round, I think they learnt from their mistakes with last season and 100% have a plan for the ending (or at least I really hope so). I absolutely love how every little thing is linked to the G&G game, it rounds everything off and personally I love a focused but wacky story line a hell of a lot more than loads of random ones that have no link. Everything about the game is intertwined into Riverdale, like the game IS Riverdale. Someone specifically created this game about Riverdale and everything that happens in it, now I dunno about everyone else but to me that's extremely interesting and well thought out. I really don't think the Gargoyle King will be any of the parents the show just likes to give feelers to try and get you to question everyone and everything. Also I don't think the writers are trying to force the viewers to like anyone - I love all the scenes with the parents because they're all so terrible. They're meant to be horrible and bad at parenting that makes them them. Not every character in a TV show has to be likable, some are made to be unlikable and that's the whole point. And I can't BELIEVE that no one has mentioned the homage to Stand by Me right at the end with Archie and Jughead on those train track!!! That was like the best bit! - it also confirms for me that the homage to Scream with FP is a red-herring, I think the writers are totally having a throwback moment.
  10. So I am LIVING for this show! Obviously nothing they do will top season one but I feel as though that happens with most shows. Season two, while I did actually enjoy most of it the so called big reveal at the end was a mistake, we all know that. But holy cow, this season is great. Completely agree, it's not a realistic show and it's not trying to be realistic, think some people still don't quite understand that. They want it to make as least sense as possible because that's what works for them, I think that might be what went wrong last season they tried to make it a little more serious than it needed to be. Chuck crazy ass Gargoyle Kings creeping round in the woods after dipping themselves in blood and rolling round in twigs and leaves at me all day, every day. Love the fact they're giving us a load of different mysteries that I'm sure will all tie together at the end (the cult, Mad Dog, and the whole gargoyle game). I personally don't think they're making it actually supernatural, just giving it that vibe with someone behind the whole thing at the end. There are fairly reasonable explanations for all the 'magical' things occurring.
  11. I just can't with how petty Hiram is. He really is a 16 year old girl stuck in a grown mans body. And now he's got a new boyfriend, how sweet. Apparently the boys of Riverdale are really easily manipulated? Now that Ronnie has decided she no longer wants part of her Dad's ?plans? I'm really hoping it's not long before Hermione follows suit because I loved their relationship together at the start of season 1. They did mention it a while back when she first reigned as Mayor and she was going to be Alice's lawyer at the Blossom will reading. There's way too many clues pointing to Hal to make him the BH. The Town Hall shooter could of been hired to be a fake BH but I really hope not. I still think it has something to do with Hiram. Could Hiram be paying Hal even? Hal seemed more than happy to sell the Register to him. I guess we'll have to wait and see where the story goes from here. I really really hope that it wasn't Reggie's gun that shot Fangs, I hope Archie stopped him in time and that it was actually someone else but Reggie is still going to get the blame. Either way, I can't see the new Sheriff who is being paid off by Hiram actually arresting Reggie, maybe he'll arrest/try to pin it on Archie since he's now backed off from Hiram? Also I really hope Fangs doesn't actually die. And they're obviously no going to kill Cheryl off. Since her mother still clearly lives at Thistle House I think the BH will be there for her, and who would even be upset by that really? (Where's Claudius disappeared off to by the way? Last we saw he was looking over Nana Rose when she was on the phone and haven't seen him since).
  12. The writers seriously messed up with Chic. I think if they actually gave him a proper story line and reason to be on the show no one would dislike him as much as they do. Even if they had gone full blown evil mad man at least he would be doing something rather than doing this pointless limbo between damaged-orphan-reunited-with-his-mother and creepy-watching-his-sister-while-she-sleeps thing. Other than the fact he killed someone and everyone cleaned it up literally nothing has changed. Now he's gone, Hal is back and Polly is still god knows where he might as well not of been on the show at all.
  13. They will more than likely give hints about it being quite a few different people and then not be any of them. Then they'll just chuck some random person, completely unrelated in and says it's them. That's what they did last time and I can't see them coming up with anything better this time round.
  14. Am I the only one who noticed that at the end when everyone was running and screaming after discovering Midge's dead body, as Jughead's camera is frantically moving around among the panic Chic is just sat there calmly looking forward? Also is it possible the janitor was the real BH and that there is now just a copycat? Not likely but just a thought. As far as we've seen on the show they haven't had a great relationship but you have to think that they were High School sweet hearts, they must of loved each other once to get married, it might be pretty bland now but they might still love each other deep down? And Betty will have seen the love they had throughout her childhood, plus I'm sure she wants her family back together.
