  1. Its only a implicit threat to the paranoid, to those who want to be a victim. Throwing things means nothing.
  2. People take texts too seriously imo, and throwing stuff is just Depp showing restraint. Like you said Amber pushed his buttons. Him throwing stuff was showing restraint against her mind games. The law isn't always right.
  3. Poor Jason, having your partner cheat on you with Harry Styles. How humiliating.
  4. He's using to court to fruitlessly restore his shattered reputation manipulated by Amber.
  5. Heard has been manipulating the system for a long time and using her gender to hide behind her awful behaviour. Unfortunately no matter what Depp does there will always be people who will believe Amber because she's a woman and they'll project their own experiences on to her.
  6. I haven't finished the series yet, and I'm not sure it's my favourite yet, but the Lynda Carter episode in series 4 would have to be one of the most joyful half hours of television I've seen. Just the pure delight on Lynda's face, so much so she kept on laughing, was wonderful to watch.
  7. Do you think what the writers did with Tracy at the end qualifies as fridging? (Using Tracy's death to recall to his children about all the women he slept with so that they can encourage him to sleep with Aunt Robin instead of looking for an affordable therapist for the whole family) https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/StuffedIntoTheFridge
  8. From what I understand of Stern, twenty years ago he would have totally supported Depp and viciously insulted Heard under the guise of comedy.
  9. They had to ruin at least nine seasons of character progression from Barney so they could go for their stupid ending. If nothing else HIMYM taught me that sometimes the ending you want is not the ending you need.
  10. Seems to me there are three types of will they/won't they couples driven by the writing staff. 1. There's the "This couple probably won't last very long but their chemistry will create lots of drama and/or laughter." (Sam and Dianne from Cheers) 2. There's the "Wow these two have great chemistry. We should put these two together but drag it out until even our most forgiving fans will hate us." (Ross and Rachel from Friends) 3. And finally there's the "it may take a few seasons, but it's obvious these two will be getting together. Once they do they will never split up." (Jim and Pam from the Office).
  11. Sam and Dianne from Cheers is probably my favourite least favourite tv couple. By that I mean they have great chemistry but it's clear they would never work long term as a couple. But a couple I believe have even greater chemistry is Ross and Rachel from Friends. When they were together, even when they weren't together, it felt like fire without seeing fire. Just such intense chemistry that I scoff anytime someone says Ross and Rachel have more chemistry with other people. Bit doubtful they would work long term.
  12. The whole Murray thing is so fascinating to me because all the reports about his awful behaviour towards people he's worked with and the domestic violence towards his ex-wife has been well known for ages. It wasn't like it was some kind of secret where his actions would be reported as "difficult" or him being "tired". I feel that Bill Murray's greatest role, or really his only role, has been playing the cynical eccentric asshole in the public eye. So anytime he does or says something that should be concerning it's swept under the carpet because the public have been trained to view him a certain way due to his movie roles and all the articles about him that gush about how eccentric he is.
  13. Funny because two of his co-stars Nathan Fillion and Traylor Howard acted in well known mystery shows Castle and Monk respectively.
  14. https://www.avclub.com/bill-murray-complaint-aziz-ansari-being-mortal-1848826401 I wonder what the inappropriate behaviour was? Must be serious if production was shut down.
