I regret watching this show. I think I'm done with all of it.

Kenneth is a little shit-stirrier. Listen I can't stand The Meg, and she obviously acted like a total asshole, but Kenneth up and deciding he wanted a different model at the last minute because Prajje(sp?) couldn't fathom coming up with a different design, and had to have Christian, a person of authority within the workroom, hound the quiet unassuming immigrant woman, which is a total other conversion about how women, specifically those not born in this country are seen in our society, into giving up her model, through gritted teeth, yeah not a fan. If both of them can only dress people that look like them, well they should have brought it up earlier to their fellow competitors instead of sulking until they got their way. Kenneth pulling that shit on an obviously frazzled Meg, who's emotions are palpable (and annoying), like you know she was in a no-win situation. If she says no, she won't be seen as "ally" in front of the cameras and all of those watching and the lovely editors had to emphasize her supposed hypocrisy (which is not what it was, but it was edited to look like it) in such a bullshit manner. Then he had the audacity to throw out his original look to make some shitty patchwork crossing guard outfit. Oh, it was to commemorate everybody coming to comfort him after he fucked over a fellow competitor for utterly no reason after all. Ugh, enough. He's acting like a shy little boy, when he's a 32 year old man. The fashion industry is tough and he won't go far. As far as The Meg, I'm glad she's gone. I think I saw her randomly crying over her dead mother for no particular reason, and I just remember muttering, "yeah, she's the type only a mother could love." Just nonstop blather and cliched social media meme speak. Plus, she does that thing where her voices rises at the end of a sentence like everything is a question. Also, the only outfit she made first week sucked, so no loss. I'm sure her heart is in the right place, but her head is firmly up her own ass. As far as the runway, some good, some not so good. I think the Russian competitor has done two strong looks so far, so she's one to watch. I liked Zayden's look, but it wasn't anything too special. Prajje's (sp?) look was eh. Of course the bottom two was between Kenneth and the middle-aged clown lady, so both can go. If you're into streetwear, HBO Max had a really good fashion competition show similar to Project Runway called The Hype. It even has PR alum/celebrity stylist Marni Senofonte in a judging role and she's pretty good at it.

What ruined Big Brother was real life Big Brother social media watching. Basically, you'll never have a truly unfiltered season ever again. It's like BB season 1 where America voted so everybody was happy, smiley, and boring. Also, you'd have to cast people that don't look like they came from central casting. You'd have to have someone like a West Virginia coal miner that never owned a cell phone or a middle-aged thrice divorced accountant with a drinking problem, or basically anyone that couldn't afford to take months off of work to appear on a gameshow, but also the demographic that would watch that is different than the one they covet.

Brent is going to blame women, in general, for why he's going home. It's his entire mindset. He'll never face the fact that he's the problem.

My pics from episode 1 to make it to the end were Shota and Dawn along with Gabriel, so two out of three ain't bad. Based on the editing, it definitely felt like Dawn was leaving but I remember that they didn't bring anyone back from Last Chance Kitchen, so I guess that left room for everybody. (Even though I'm against the concept of Last Chance Kitchen, I would have liked to see Sasha come back, but Sara had to ruin that. SARA RUINS EVERYTHING!!!)

Speaking as a lactose intolerant vegetarian with a nut allergy, if we're going to throw out challenges based entirely on dietary restrictions because it's "tone deaf" we wouldn't have any challenges at all.

I'm glad Sasha is back in the competition. She's the only cheftestant I've warmed up to this season.

I really don't even understand the strategy. Ultimately, if their dish was chosen by the judges to be the worst, it doesn't matter who made what, Kiki would still be going home since RoboChef has immunity.

I really enjoyed this week's Quick Fire. It's exactly what I want from this type of challenge. Quick on your feet, show skill under reasonable limitations, and no obnoxious product placement. Now, obviously I can pick apart Richard Blais' choice, but taking him out of the equation, I think the last team to go should have a bit more of a challenge. They had the same amount of time to cook, but they also had a greater opportunity to pre-plan. Overall, good stuff. I thought the judge's comments were a lot clearer this week in explaining why a dish succeeded or failed during the tasting. Last week was a bit too much "you can really taste the love" and other platitudes. It's clear these chefs know their stuff, because combining beer and coffee forward flavors sounds like a tough act, so kudos to all.

I think it was Gabriel. That one had a lot to say about everything. I don't even know who Byron is. Give me two more episodes to figure that out.

I thinks it's more of them keeping the concept of guest judges but having them able to quarantine. This was filmed in the fall, so keeping as many of the on camera crew gathered in one place so they can be regularly tested was a bigger concern.

It takes me like three episodes before I figure out all the cheftestants, so I don't have too much to say on that front. It didn't bode well when Padma said none of them were sous chefs. It's like they're all a little too professional, which may make so-so tv characters. There is the annoying gay guy (it's okay I'm an annoying gay guy, I can say that) and an awful lot of people that tend to speak in monotone. Also, I'm entirely over the unconfident underdog. It's annoying and childish. "Oh my god, what am I doing here?!?." I don't know, you sent the tape in and were probably interviewed multiple times and made plans to appear on television, you tell me why you're here. My blood temperature raised like 200 degrees the second I saw Blaise and his dumbass hair. We all know what you're doing and we're all unimpressed. I like the rotating former Top Chef as judges, but they added little to the tasting segment. I hope they relax and get into it a bit more. I found the green screen when doing talking heads was really distracting. Did they always do this? Is my tv acting up?

I'm confused how these people are considered All-Stars? I stopped watching around season 8 for numerous reasons (Rig Brother for Eval Dick being primary), but being quarantined and looking to see what Janelle and Kaysar were up to, I decided to give this another shot. I'm also not the type to look through rose-colored glasses and say the old way of doing things was better, but this show is all kinds of awful. I mean, that eviction speech by Christmas (is that really her name?) was infantile garbage I'd expect from a kindergartener. I've never watched a show where I couldn't find a single person to root for, but this show is something else. It's like they cancelled The Real World and now all these useless famewhores have found a new place to squat. 2020 keeps on crushing it.

I'm bemused by Shea's win. Her snatch game material was weak and doesn't even qualify as drag as far as I'm concerned. Her Flava Flav was more masculine than Shea is out of drag. I'm not opposed to male characters being done. My all-time favorite snatch game performance remains Kennedy's Little Richard, and what makes it even better is how it still remained drag. What made Shea's mediocre performance worse for me was the cuts to RuPaul laughing like a hyena after every line. Like, it's not that funny (also being able to play off the true winner, Juju, raised Shea up in her performance, I guess) Her runway look didn't really fit the theme for me and her contrived story about losing to Sasha makes her come off self-obsessed. I remember her S9 finale performance - it wasn't finale worthy. Cracker was the queen I was looking forward to the least this season, and she keeps adding to my list of reasons why. This supposed comedy queen was on the same level as India in terms of performance. Ms. Cracker is literally my "Bitch Eating Crackers" Alexis Matteo's performance was solid but a tad redundant. She does have exemplary improv skills. I know of Jeffrey Star, but I've never seen him/her/they/them/etc so I thought India's character work was fine, but it just wasn't funny. I know of Ellen, and I've seen her show, so Blair's unfunny impression was spot-on. Also, I'm a big fan of her prom runway look. Juju was great. I hope she wins.

I'm generally along for the ride on regular Drag Race (except season 11 which is the only one I gave up on five minutes into episode 3) but the producer shenanigans on All-Stars has been less and less entertaining since its pinnacle in season 2. Recent improv challenges tend to drag - and not in a good way. I'm starting to miss the Rusicals. Shea/Alexis: Meh. It seemed like Alexis kept stepping over everything and it came off as basic. Blair/Juju/Cracker: Only chortled once to something Blair said. can't recall what it was Mayhem/India: I don't think I laughed but was amused throughout. I thought they were the winners. I thought the camouflage theme had potential to allow some unique or innovative ideas. This did not occur. I still liked a lot of them, though. Jujubee: kinda basic but solid. I liked her wig. Blair: sorta like her 'skin your in' runway, it was a strong look that didn't necessarily fit the theme. She would be my pick for the "walking children in nature" runway. Alexis: another strong look. great makeup. interesting concept in comparison Mayhem: a basic leotard done well. herself and jujubee are never going to be the fashion queens, but runway is a key component to All-Stars since it's expected these now seasoned queens will spend some of their newfound coin on looks. There are expectations from the judges as well as the audience at home. India: I will always appreciate the queens who sew their own looks. I really liked this take as it was unexpected coming from her. She may be weak in challenges but India always brings it to the runway. Shea: her weakest runway look so far but fine I continue to be baffled by Ms Cracker's appeal and that's all I'll say about that. (however, if the above post about Ms. Cracker secretly "stealthing" during sex, my professional dislike has grown into a personal disdain) Even though Morgan easily won the lip-sync, the producers did Cracker dirty. Not only did she not win the $20K, she also has the added drama attached to eliminating a well-liked queen. They really hyped up next week's Snatch Game of Love, so I expect to be thoroughly underwhelmed.

The main challenge was a boot. I watched all three skits and they all lingered without purpose. I guess it's meant to be sort of an improv challenge, but not really. It felt low energy all around. I thought Juju's team should have won, The Golden Girls team should have been the bottom, with the middling gold room in the middle. The runway theme was also a boot. For me, a three-in-one should basically be one outfit that transforms, but retains the character of the main garment, so only India, Shea, and Mariah (somewhat) fit that description. The rest were just reveals that had some thematic thread but remained individual looks. The egg thing Cracker came out with is the height of overdoing reveals for the sake of reveals. Overall not a great episode. I love Mariah's old school drag, but that will remain a hindrance on a competition show. Her and India weren't meant for this sort of thing where it's now all about personal branding and catch phrases and blah blah blah. I'm almost disappointed this group didn't send Shea packing. All this talk about wanting to win, and they didn't take out the odds on favorite? When you come at the queen, you best not miss. (also, they could easily bring her back and win the whole thing, because you know at some point, some queen is gonna come back in week 5 or 6 or whatever)

Alexis Mateo gives great reaction faces. I hope that continues for the rest of the season. It was interesting how they didn't have India reveal which name was on her lipstick like in past seasons. I guess every knew she'd pick Derrick and just moved on. Speaking of lipstick, this might be the first time Mayhem showed me some personality, and I even liked her runway look, so I'm glad her lipstick wasn't chosen last week. The editing did Ms Cracker absolutely no favors this episode, but if you're supposedly being told something, ie you're difficult, by numerous people and you have a problem with that, maybe some self-reflection is in order. As I stated last episode, I've never really warmed to Ms Cracker, so it's no surprise that she has this presumptuous streak in her. Some people don't work well with others. I'm basically a misanthrope, but at least I can read a room. The Challenge was fine. Never been the biggest fan of musical numbers, but it didn't drag (no pun intended) and was amusing, if forgettable. I don't think anybody did bad, but Ongina and India's were the weakest. The right person went home in the end. It's a shame because I really like Ongina's runway looks so far and was waiting to see more. I don't care if she looks swallowed up by her outfits, as I think that's part of her look. Ongina is like a fabergé egg. Shea's runway was simply breathtaking. Tasteful nudes done right. I hope her and Jujubee are the final two. I was a underwhelmed by Alyssa Edwards. Although I appreciate her Ultimate Warrior cosplay, she didn't really bring it to the level I was hoping, especially after lasts week's high energy lipsync. I'm still waiting for producer shenanigans to suddenly appear and we have a tie, which sends two queens packing or they have to lipsync for their life.

Kevin's pork looked as appetizing as Karen's duck. So Long. Farewell. Pack You Knives And Go. Overall, it was a really fun watch with no unnecessary drama (oh look, Malarkey and Leanne are back for the finale, what a joy 😒) I even enjoyed the trips to different places which can be kind of hit or miss but this all looked fascinating and made we want to visit Parma. In my mind, I think Bryan V is the most "deserving" to take the crown due to precedence more than anything, but I feel like it's Melissa's show to lose at this point. She's been on a roll, and Bryan has been struggling all season like an old fighter trying to find his way again. To my own surprise, I'd probably be happiest with a Stephanie win as her food is less complex, but it appeals more to my simple palette, although that would be kind of shock for everybody, including Stephanie based on her own expectations. Kudos to her for rising to the challenge. Not to knock Kevin specifically, but I never like the idea of Last Chance Kitchen (or whatever it's called on every other reality show). I think once you're out you're out. When I used to amateur wrestle we'd have tournaments and losers would wrestle for 3rd place or whatever and I think that can be a thing. The winner of LCK receives a car or something to that effect. I'd imagine the people watching the web-exclusive series would watch it regardless, as it has a different, more relaxed energy that was the draw.

I'm not sure what you expect from a gameshow, but it's not the sole arbiter. Challenge performance, which encompasses other areas of drag where individual talents can excel, as well as runway looks are what put a contestant on this game show in contention for winning. Also, lip syncing has been a major part of many, many, many drag performances since the 1950s, and it's likely the best way to decide between the top two on this game show since it's would be the most even playing field for the vast majority of drag queens. I'm not sure what else would be considered for the final challenge on this gameshow that would be fair as well as interesting to the viewing audience. It's like if I watch Top Chef and expected the last challenge to be based on ordering ingredients or monitoring safety standards rather than cooking a dish. It's tv - make it interesting.
