  1. All it takes is the death of Chloe's dad, to make all of these people live better lives.
  2. I'm thinking that this is what the episode was meant to be, originally. Neil Gaiman only did his voice-over after the show was cancelled, maybe this show should have been Lucifer's mom changing the past so that Chloe wouldn't become a cop, in the hopes that Lucifer would never meet her and then they get together anyway. This version would mean that Lucifer's mom saved Chloe's dad's life and, as a side effect caused Trixie to not happen. It would also explain why Lucifer couldn't bring himself to have sex with Charlotte. The Neil Gaiman version has God killing off Chloe's dad so she joins the police and meets Lucifer and then wondering what would have happened if he had done nothing - surprise, they get together anyway. God killed Chloe's dad just so she would meet Lucifer sooner!! I find it interesting that Chloe can either have her dad alive or she can have Trixie but not both. I wonder which she would choose... Just think, if we'd had a series 4 and I was writing for them (unlikely but I can dream) we could have had an episode where Chloe wakes up in the AU with no Trixie and has to travel back in time and shoot her own dad, for the sake of her daughter!!
  3. They have, it was called 'Sliders' where a group of people travel to different AUs each week trying to get back home to their own reality. There were some really clever versions of planet earth to begin with but it went down hill after a while. Screened sometime in the 1990s.
  4. Cain stuck her with the stuff that was meant for Amenadiel and we don't know if he topped her up later, off screen. They've never really explored her weaknesses, on the show, they've said she doesn't have a soul but they've never said what would kill her. Sweet that she took out all those bad guys, though.
  5. I think all the people that screamed at his face were the ones that realized they were going to Hell. Chloe and Linda aren't. Also, the 'screamers' got the flickering face, things are always scarier when you can't see them properly. Seeing it static gives you a chance to demystify it. I also think that Chloe's lack of reaction is so that series 4 (if it happens) could go either way. Maybe she won't mind, maybe she'll try to shoot him again - that sort of thing.
  6. Oh, and will Lucifer figure out that he makes himself vulnerable around Chloe? (I think the thing with Cain's mark is just God taking the piss.)
  7. Where do I start? First off, thank you Ella for 'Pecker babies'. Priceless. Amenadiel finally figures out that it's his own guilt that took his wings away and gets them back just too late to save Charlotte. Shame they killed her off, just as she was getting interesting. Maze finally figures out that she doesn't hate Amenadiel and Linda as much as she thought she did. At least, she doesn't want them dead. Chloe really expects us to believe that she was shagging Pierce in cupboards just to get Lucifer's attention? Will Lucifer figure out that he lost his devil face because he was afraid to show it to Chloe (on a subconscious level) after the way Linda reacted? So, Cain wants to live now? Huh? How long has Mister Chucked-Himself-Into-A-VOLCANO-One-Time wanted to die? Does all this weirdness make up for the weirdness of previous episodes? I think I'll decide after next week's offering.
  8. Yeah, just two left. There's meant to be another two that are being held back (like the four from season 2), if the show gets cancelled will we have to buy the DVDs to see the 'extra' episodes? On a lighter note, I thought Dan 'doing' Lucifer was much better and funnier than last season when Lucifer 'did' Dan. I loved that he showed up at the killer's house, broke in and sat drinking scotch in the dark even though Lucifer wasn't around to see it. Maybe he could keep doing this stuff; after all, the 'desire' thing seems to work if he just asks people! Oh and I don't think Chloe ever rescued Lucifer with a swat team - maybe she just doesn't care that much!!
  9. Yeah, I thought that too. Chloe certainly wasn't in love with Lucifer when she shot him and it wasn't her 'miracle-ness' either because he got shot right next to her in episode 1. I think that Pierce has got it backwards and Lucifer just isn't thinking straight. As for the 'engagement', I'm sure Chloe will break it off once she finds out that the ring is stolen. Why else was Pierce buying it off a 'fence'? Also, him being The Sinnerman might put her off, as well. I'm sure that Charlotte will be happy to tell her!
  10. Good point, then again, does Charlotte feel guilt? She could probably argue her way out.
  11. Also, when Charlotte goes back to hell, she'll know where she is and that it's not real; will she be the first to just walk out? She could end up running the place!!
  12. It's that who's to blame? The showrunner. Right, OK then, I'll say sorry to the writers, if it's not their fault. Some friends and I were trying to come up with daft future plots based on where we are now. Funniest one: Maze kills Cain, now that he's mortal. Chloe finds out she's pregnant, Lucifer marries her and has to endure being barfed on by 'Spawn of Cain'. Best part, Lucifer looks wrecked and sleep deprived all the time!! Anyone else got any ideas?
  13. They're acting so out of character: There's no way Chloe would ever have had sex at work. It wasn't that long ago that Maze was enjoying a sense of 'belonging' with her human family (Chloe and Trixie) and we're meant to believe that the Linda/Amendiel thing would turn her against everyone? Oh and since when does someone who puts vodka on her cornflakes, decide that coconut water is her drink of choice? I'm really hoping that Lucifer gets his wings out for Chloe soon. Oh and could we have writers that have actually watched seasons 1&2?
  14. I think Cain got it the wrong way round, he thought that Chloe made Lucifer mortal because she loved him when it's more likely that it was because he loves her. I think Cain's mark is gone because he finally performed a selfless act ie giving up what he most wants to spare Chloe from being hurt. Although, obviously he's hurt her but not as much as he was planning. I really hope we get to find out why God put Chloe on earth, before the show gets cancelled! Loving ruffled, sleep deprived Lucifer!
