  1. Forgive me for going back to last week's show, but I was really hoping to see the oil leak mess in the basement. Is the oil still there? Did they dispose of the contaminated stuff? I bet not and the producers missed a great shock factor by not letting us see.

I will nitpick on one thing, though - I didn't like the neckline of her gown on her.  I get it that a deep plunge helps minimize a large chest, but that was a little too deep and not the most flattering look for her in my opinion.  But she was glowing so brightly I'm probably the only person that noticed.  I did like the lace, though!

I was also taken aback by the fit of her dress. It made me sad to see her dress not perfect for her perfect day.

  3. Am I the only one who is concerned about the experts choosing a bride with serious health issues? I don't think it's fair to the groom to be faced with the "in sickness" right off the bat. I've had abdominal surgery, flailed open and sewn back together and there was no way I was going to have sex right away and it sounded like she is still healing. Also, Becca has endometriosis which can make having children difficult. I hope Austin doesn't want kids soon. IMO another screw up by the "experts".

  4. I was so excited when this show was advertised but sadly, it's going by way of most scifi TV shows. It's a good, interesting premise but then I find 2/3s of the show is basically one person trying to convince another person to do or not do something. Ugh...so tedious!

  5. I've only watched the first 10 minutes so far and still debating whether I should finish or not. The Lindseyism I caught right off the bat was that the new boyfriend "moved in with her" not "we are living together". How big of her to allow him to move in. Is he a lost puppy or something? 🙄

It might be. The more I think about it, the inability to read lips or hear AT ALL would seem to make it REALLY difficult to get through daily life. But more power to him if it’s true.

I just assumed it would be part of the curriculum. 🤷‍♀️

David - not surprised that his parents dumped him at an ASL boarding school.  Interesting the school in Nebraska closed in 1998 which I assume is the one David went to.  Might have been the done thing for David's generation to just place them in a boarding school.  Did he say if his family knows ASL?  David could have been one of those kids that just didn't want to learn to speak due to the "deaf accent" and/or to learn to read lips.   Sheila is going to hurt him.  I wish David would have tried again with some girl in the US or Canada instead of going international.

I just don't understand that if he spent his school age years at the deaf school there weren't classes on lip reading and speech. That makes no sense to me, could this be producer driven? 🤔

  8. One of my first questions to Rishi's mom would have been "are you still shopping for a wife for your boy?" I wanted a discussion on what happens when a wife is found for him. That's got to put a curdle in the milk.

Mr. Lu wandered by while I was watching and he asked "if you removed the gold necklace from that blonde chick (Nicole) would you see a line, like in that ribbon story?" 😄

The producers probably had to stop themselves from clapping with glee when they realized they were going to wind up with a storyline about the Neurology Chairperson worrying he was going to wind up paralyzed.  I found the discussion about whether he should be treated in his own hospital by his own department interesting.

I know! What are the odds?! In my cold, cynical heart I started to wonder if this story was contrived and acted out. I mean it was so convenient. I don't know about anyone else but I would have serious concerns about a doctor, who was completely incapacitated less than 6 months prior doing intrigue surgery on my nervous system but to each their own. 😉

I think the CCing automatically typed what Andrei's accent made it sound like he said. I see other captioning errors like that frequently, especially when the person talking isn't a native English speaker.

I've seen that too but the second reference was a few minutes later where the CC says "Regina" for when Jenny talked to Liz. I confess I couldn't watch the whole thing, I depend on your guys's snark to keep me informed, but maybe I'll have to pull up my big girl pants and watch it all to see if it happens again. Thanks, I'm glad I wasn't the only one.

  11. Did anyone else see this? At about 9 minutes in, when they are eating lunch in the green room, Andrei calls Jenny "Regina" and then a few minutes later my closed caption calls Jenny "Regina". Did I miss something somewhere? Did she change her name? Has she been using a pseudonym? I feel like there's been a glitch in the matrix! 😟

  12. Oh man! Please don't tell me this show isn't "real"! 😉 When they introduced Tiffane, I was so excited! She's in Indianapolis, my old hometown, but then, on her drive to the train station (uh, the train station is downtown) I saw mountains out her back window!! Trust me, there are no mountains in central Indiana! Also, I caught that she was on interstate 68 which is no were near Indy! This is like when "Close Encounters" put mountains in Muncie, IN. I feel so betrayed...☹️

Still mesmerized by the show tho. 😁
