  1. I took it as a representation of everyone he had dumped in the ocean in Florida.
  2. Shep showed not just cracks but gaping holes in his 'good guy' facade this season and Andy did a fantastic job of opening them even further by tripping him up on some of the 'intellect' he so prides himself on. Shep's comment about his Palm Beach friends? Austen's comment about coal miners? awful....what exactly were they trying to say? It just shows how completely clueless Shep (especially) is to anyone who isn't a trust fund baby. It seems Austen has replaced Craig in the wanna be category. Madison is one cold chick......shallow but she did look lovely last night. Chelsea (not to be confused with the video one 😉 ) is seemingly the most normal of the bunch. I love her. I am glad her BF doesn't have a desire to be on the show.....along with Cam's husband they deserve to keep some aspects of their lives private. Danni......I think she is a good person and if she did or didn't have chlamydia - I really don't care. Either way it would not change my opinion of her. Kathryn.......I could only handle her as a surface friend. Naomie........still like her. Eliza.....sweet girl, obviously very young and very naive. Not meant for this show. Craig.......I think I will always have a bit of a soft spot for him. He means no harm. I hope he stays off the Adderall and makes a killing off of his 15 minutes of fame pillows.
  3. Is Cam really from an 'old southern family' though? Wasn't she raised by a single mother? I never got the impression she is from old money growing up.
  4. Shep is horrible. Craig at his core is sweet. Austen may not be the most interesting person on the show but he can roll with the punches without being a total jerk (minus the tape). Kathryn looked beautiful (a tad overdressed but still....) that being said, she probably should not be drinking and she is a little bit like Shep when confronted about anything...she tends to hit low. I like Cam, she is reasonable and honest and I would be sad if she left the show. I too like having my own money. If I want a shirt, I go and buy one....if he wants a golf club he goes and buys one and neither of us have to report to each other what was spent because we each budget our own accounts. Overall it is our money but having separate accounts works perfectly for us. Chelsea definitely was not looking her best at the reunion but even so she is beautiful. I still like Naomie and won't judge too much about Metul because of some slivers of footage we were shown. I did think the interaction with Craig and the rice krispie treat was actually funny and I am glad they all took it in good humor. I was glad Andy held Sheps feet to the fire about his awful actions.
  5. I noticed a few times throughout the series where they said phrases commonly used today that were not used in the 70's/80's. I lived in Japan on a Naval Base from '79-'82 (I was 11 in '79) and remember the Atlanta Child Murders being shown on our news station. I still think Wayne Williams is guilty because like some have mentioned above, the killings stopped after his arrest along with the evidence from the fibers, dog hair and the flyers to lure children of a specific age group was just very telling. His story as to why he was on the bridge at 3:00 am......his calmness around the police seemed to be very serial killer-ish. Very cunning strategies for him to be an innocent man. Kudos to the casting department for this series! I honestly felt like I was watching Ed Kemper himself along with Manson and David Burkowitz and I am sure they did a great job with the other killers which other then Tex I was not familiar with. The series also did a fantastic job with the late 70's/early 80's decor, overall theme, music etc. So many things I saw all the time growing up. I can see why some folks felt the story line with Brian was contrived, I thought it was a good opportunity to show how it swayed his fathers perception while interviewing or talking about the cases after it hit a little too close to home. Tench is my favorite of the series. I was really sad about Nancy leaving him. It just wasn't the norm for a father to take a leave of absence back then. I also thought her just up and leaving would be a bad move as far as the case worker and psychologist went. I enjoyed this whole series and thought all the actors brought their A game. The only bad thing is having to wait so long for a season 3!
  6. Patricia's stag party was bizarre....the ice sculpture was gorgeous......then it took an odd turn.....part circus, part Mardi Gras and part granny. Shep is despicable and the leg shaking really must be a thing with him when he is upset because it was going 90 to nothing when he was talking to Madison. Speaking of....she redeemed herself a bit from last week with how she handled Shep this time around and actually apologized for going low. Danni I think really is a good and caring person. Kathryn.....girl is a bit dense but I think at her core she is sweet. Ashley....she is nuts, that's all. I am in the minority but Cam can wear a paper bag and look adorable so still looked lovely. Metul is an ass. Jason is a cutie and it was fun to see him finally make an appearance although the Metul flirting was a bit much. Craig.....he is a total follower. Whitney......it just seems funny to me hearing a 50 year old man brag about shredding a guitar....he is still a handsome man. Eliza turned out to be a sweetheart, I will gladly accept her back next season. The 'video' girls were not cute at all. I hope the show can get back to its original roots because it has really played out......
  7. She looks like a poor man's Anna Kendrick to me. I have only seen about an hour of Dark Angel and was crushed to see the actor portraying Troy!! He was way too old, too boring, not sexy and correct me if I am wrong (it has been years and years since I read the book) but wasn't Troy supposed to be pale with dark hair and all poetic/dreamy-like? Gah! I hate the casting people for these movies! Jillian was spot on, I will give them that but Jason Priestly? Whoever it is playing Angel? Just awful.
  8. Add me to the list of folks who loved the ranch scene....it was the best one in the movie IMO. Margaret Qualley was a standout in her scenes and held her own against Pitt. Brad was at the top of his game in this movie. It didn't really bother me they were semi-ambiguous about whether he killed his wife or not as in Pulp Fiction we never knew what was in the case....a little mystery makes for good speculation. I honestly left the theater very disappointed in this movie but once I had a day to dissect it, I started to realize it really was good. Not Inglorious Basterds great or Pulp Fiction great but still good. Pitt was the standout, Leo was great but he didn't enthrall me quite as much as Brad. I love Margot as Sharon.....yes, she was more of a side character but you just could not take your eyes off of her while onscreen. Dakota Fanning was pretty chilling in her role. I liked QT made a much more 'Hollywood Ending' for Sharon & Co and would like to think Rick Dalton was able to go on to have the comeback he so desperately wanted with Cliff along for the ride.....
  9. I am kind of surprised anyone would take Madison's side over Danni's.... Madison gives permission to a friend to contact Danni's boyfriend on her behalf, then she outs something extremely personal on national TV and then gets an attitude when Danni gets rightfully upset! Then Austen comforting her ...... for what?!?!? If I am remembering correctly, Danni dated Shep a long time ago. She had the good sense to turn T-Rav down and I am trying to figure out how this equates Danni as not the person she tries to portray! Because she got an STD (allegedly) from a guy she dated?
  10. I can totally see how you having the opposite opinion going into this than I did made you look at it differently as well. I think the documentary did a great job of showing things without slanting it completely one way or the other. Michelle seemed to be two different people, I saw her as a lonely, desperate for acceptance teen in a sympathetic way and also in a very unsympathetic way. She also seemed to lack any remorse. I loved how the reporter said everyone there was looking to not be blamed (or however he said it exactly).
  11. I went into this having a very strong negative opinion of Michelle and by the end I was able to find some empathy for her (not her actions mind you). I thought the documentary did a good job of showing both sides even without the actual participation of Michelle or her family. The older psychiatrist (psychologist?) and the Esquire reporter had really good insight IMO. Before I watched the second half, it was obvious with Michelle and Conrad having a 95% texting relationship without the human contact made it easier to do and say things that if they were actually seeing the person face to face. She wasn't thinking in terms of real life consequences which played a huge part in this. I am not sure it would have had the same outcome if they had a typical relationship where they saw each other on a regular basis. I also wondered why they chose not to see each other but a handful of times. After watching the second half, my empathy came in seeing how obviously desperate she was for friends and even the pictures they showed of Michelle and the other girls, it was like she was on the outside clinging to them. I am sure it was painful hearing their testimonies although Michelle had an incredibly stoic face a majority of the trial. I saw her as SO many different things throughout and I am still not sure my exact feelings. I was, however surprised they were able to convict her on this because the key thing seemed to be how she 'said' she told him to get back in the f'ng car when that was one of the FEW things that wasn't in their text exchanges. Combine that with the fact they both seemed to have lied about various things (especially Michelle) I just could not fathom she was found guilty by the judge. She did deserve punishment in some form but I am not sure jail will reform her. SO many things factored in to this story, the parents, the violent episodes, the relationship with Alice, the many prior suicide attempts, the drugs, desperation, lonliness etc.... I am SO glad for these forums because i was wracking my brain trying to figure out who some of these people looked like and y'all were able to provide the answers......my husband and I did think the father could have been in the Wahlberg family although I could totally see Kennedy after it was pointed out.....
  12. On a shallow note.....I thought Kyle looked so pretty when she was sitting on her couch talking to Kim. I also thought Dorit looked great in her ponytail. Erika looked like she had super blue contacts on at the 6 month later brunch which to me added to her odd look.
  13. My husband and I just finished all 4 seasons on Netflix and will hopefully be able to figure out how to watch 5 ASAP. I absolutely love everything about this show! I was honestly a little depressed knowing I am about to have to leave the Schitt's Creek world for a while. This could have been a very generic 'fish out of water' show but it is SO much more and I love every character. I love that Moira is on the ditzy side but clearly isn't dumb, her accent kills me in the best possible way. If I had to pick a favorite it would be David but Alexis is a very close second. David's facial expressions are practically their own character. I love how he is sarcastic but kind. Alexis is also spoiled and flippant but clearly is smart and sweet. I love Johnny and Moira's very supportive and honest relationship. The townspeople are wonderful and although Roland isn't my favorite he has grown on me. Jocelyn is wonderful, Twyla is endearing. Ted and Patrick are the absolute perfect partners for Alexis and David. Stevie, I think does a great job of being both snarky and reluctantly caring. I have found myself crying, clapping and cheering out loud during these episodes and it breaks my heart season 6 will be the final. The concept of this show has been used many times but the writing and acting makes it one of the best shows I have ever watched.
  14. It really makes me respect Cam more that her husband isn't on the show. She deserves to have a life outside of the camera's and to keep certain aspects personal. Back when Ozzie and Sharon had their show, the oldest daughter refused to be on the show if I remember right. Plus with editor manipulation being able to make a person look good or bad, it is just too risky if you have an actual career that doesn't need to be promoted.
  15. I came here to say pretty much the same thing. Craig isn't cruel. I know he and Naomi had some scenes where he could be a jerk to her but she could be one as well. Shep and Whitney both disgusted me during this episode......I remembered why Whitney was much more likable in VERY small doses. I find it hard to believe if he were in all these punk rock bands that he kept to a strict diet..... I really like Chelsea but bringing up going into partnership with Austen's ex is a little odd. I wanted Austen to take up for Craig but in all honesty they would have just piled on him and not taken any responsibility.
  16. DORIT!!! I have seen glimpses of the girl we saw last night throughout her time on the show! I have tried to like her a few times in the past, hopefully she will be on a longer streak of likability this time. Was she the one who told Kyle this is why her acting career didn't take off past the age of seven (paraphrasing) while she was doing the imitations? I thought Kyle looked beautiful in the color green she wore last night but again, if you have to constantly adjust your top, it doesn't fit properly. I still like Erika....she is what she is. I have hormonal migraines and sometimes I can function and sometimes I can't. I was proud of her for even going to the wine tasting and yes, if you don't feel well to begin with and are around a bunch of drunk people when you are sober, it isn't the best time. Factor in them trying to box her into how they wanted her to feel, I would have been annoyed as well. Lisa R didn't really bother me last night. She is horrible at times but seems fun. Teddi......I do not know where she came up with thinking she was everyone's moral compass and it was exhausting her. This is where Rinna showed some kindness......she handled Teddi's drunken pity party with compassion. All in all I thought last night was a pretty fun episode.
  17. Let somebody even hint at something negative about my husband and my claws would come out too!
  18. I'm not sure why people don't believe it....? They hooked up in season 1 and she supposedly even lived at his house for a couple weeks. It's easy to go back to a previous hookup. A couple of reasons......me personally as I have stated in another episode post, the fact that Whitney (and Patricia) have said horrible things about/to Kathryn makes it hard to believe she would just jump into bed with him. Also, several people think Whitney is gay. Now that I am rereading my first statement......she did procreate again with Thomas under basically the same circumstances. She needs help. I still am in the camp of the hookup being BS.
  19. I agree about the lack of parties and real estate. Kathryn's place isn't decorated at all like any of the fabulous Charleston homes I have seen in pictures...her place is pretty generic comparatively. I don't expect it to be like Patricia's (a bit too stuffy IMO) but more like Brandon Branch's home from SC Savannah (or even Haygood's). If you have money for $6,600.00 in rent and a flipping Rolls Royce, you should have way better furnishings. I have all but forgotten Craig isn't originally from the south. He does seem like a really sweet guy but he is more of a 'house cat' (as Chelsea's dad said) than Austin. He is by far the most handsome guy on the show. I do not miss JD. I miss season one and two Thomas. Shep will continue to get women simply because he is wealthy and now famous. I still cannot help but like Cam. They need to just make her solely the Greek Chorus and punt this fake story line. I think she has probably struggled a bit going from carefree to having the responsibility of a child as a lot of women (and men) do, but this is blown out of proportion, I am sure. Add me to the list of never wanting to see Austin's threesome tape again. Ugh.
  20. I ordered a necklace off of Naomie's site last week.....a lot of things were sold out. The necklace arrived within two days in super cute packaging. She modeled a lot of the clothes on Labeye.
  21. I have noticed a ton of Kyle shaming for her costume but no mention of Camille's outfit? I personally thought both women looked great but Kyle has taken much more heat on this. I know the whole 'Playboy Bunny' angle but in the big picture, it was a party, she looked pretty, her husband was fine with it so good for her. I honestly didn't notice LVP wasn't on the show last night until reading through this board! I was surprised at how Denise was with Kim, I would have expected her to be a little more of a peacemaker and not take such a hard stance.
  22. I was on the fence about this movie.....loved both of the lead girls......I adore the kid who played Jared! The girl who played Hope (the hookup of Amy) looked just like a young Liv Tyler. I did not think Ryan was cute at all (agreed with the above poster). Parts of the movie were funny but nothing spectacular. It was worth seeing but nothing I would watch again.
  23. This was horrible! All of the contestants were pretty and that was it......the guy who actually won did seem to have actual design talent based on the pictures they showed of his actual work (not on the show). The overalls girl was rude, the first two with the stools/benches? were not good.....the washcloth light fixture which would have caught on fire if it was actually turned on?!?!? Let alone it was hideous. The way the 'judges' acted like everyone's designs were actually good?!?!? Thank goodness for DVR to be able to ff through most of this God awful insult to viewers of a show.....not that the actual show is too much better. Hildi is stunning though.
