  1. Possibly because Wes' cop buddies might know where he was headed and would start looking for him in Virgin River.
  2. I knew from the trailer this was going to be fluffy and fun. Loved that they cast so many pretty men. And it helped that the actor who played Thimothée was definitely no teenager. I thought Emily and Gabriel had great chemistry, so no complaints from me.
  3. It only occurred to me halfway through the episode that Bradley wasn't in it. And I did not miss her one bit.
  4. The kid who plays Roger is perfect. I liked his scenes the best. Only read the first book a few weeks ago for the first time. I'm definitely in for the long haul.
  5. I only recently got into the series. I started Northern Lights a couple of years ago but couldn't really get into it. Then a few weeks ago I borrowed the audiobook from Libby and it was great! It's a whole production with different narrators for different characters. I especially liked that while it's clearly directed towards a younger audience, the book contains more complex ideas and politics. My favorite parts were when Lyra was with the Gyptians and her journey with the armored bear.
  6. Beck did say that Peach tried to kill herself before, last episode, I think. So it probably doesn‘t come as THAT big of a shock.
  7. Given that Lenny Bruce is married, I think they'll just have this very comfortable platonic relationship. He even gave Benjamin the classic, "Have her home by ten." I do enjoy their relationship very much, it's my favorite of the show. And the fact that there are so few scenes with the two, only adds to its charm. Now, Benjamin, there's a man for Midge! I know physical appearance isn't everything but in the last episode, when he and Joel were standing next to each other, I kept thinking, one of them looks like a boy and the other one like a man. And I think Joel just couldn't handle all of Midge whereas Benjamin seemed to keep Midge much more on the edge, which is something she might need. I'm pretty sure that's not where the show is headed but I hope Midge explores this a little at least.
  8. Ben Feldman played an angel on Drop Dead Diva, so Jonah trying to argue with Kelly about whether she had seen an actual angel was funny. This is probably meant to indicate that Kelly and Jonah's relationship is headed towards the end. I hope. I don't think either Jonah or Amy are unlikable at all. They're just the most reasonable of the bunch and in contrast to all that sillyness they come off as not as much fun.
