  1. Not sure about the admission part, but you can definitely see how it's run its course and isn't nearly as good. Before Barry became a total clown, he was pretty funny.
  2. Hardly worth the financial effort, but nice to see a different type of home with different style choices. I enjoyed this one a lot, purely for the aesthetic and no flipper's granite. Wish they colored the concrete to go well with the natural birch rather than the other way around. I've seen floors like that and they can be quite dramatic. And yes, it's very expensive to live in SoCal. ;-)
  3. Agree with GeorgieNY that ballet routine was something a company would perform, and I don't think the rigor required in practice to pull it off correctly can be accomplished in the time that they had. Such a shame, as I love ballet too. Knew I would love Ricky and even Jessica (yes, despite Uncle Nigel's drooling) and the tappers and Marcquet and Marlene. The surprises of the evening for me were Stanley (seriously, watch again and keep your eyes only on him, it's like he floats on air) and Teddy, mostly because they hardly showed him before tonight. Hope Teddy gets hip hop again next week, because I'm not really sure what his specialty is. It's really obvious they are de-emphasizing hip hop this year (thus, JaJa-gate). Have no idea who could be going home among the guys. But if it's Stanley, that would be a crying shame.
  4. Love this epi so much more than the first. The dancers were more diverse (or rather, we were allowed to see that diversity) and the L.A. crowd seems so much more supportive. The N.O. crowd was either barely there or dead! Helps to have all those all-stars on hand, of course. Loved Marie Poppins because she's the first person of her genre that I've seen that puts femininity in popping. Conversely, I loved JaJa for how hard she hit. Thank goodness the contemporary girls were (sorta) kept to a minimum and we saw a few that register on the quirky end of the spectrum, so much better than angsty. Like everyone else, was awed by ballerina in love. Not so much with her partner. But he has to go in Not!Vegas. It's not only the script, it's the right thing to do.
