  1. Not the only one. After peeling eyes open to watch last night, I went back to final sequence. Of note, to maybe just me, Rebecca running into to Hot Boat Guy’s daughter & meet ‘cute’, if you will, was the only montage scene to happen before Ted took the snow globe out & shook it. It felt real time. I think they’ve left themselves lots of room, but that to me is meant to be cannon. Beyond that, it wasn’t really until Beard’s wedding that visually everything changed. Of course they can do what they want if they reboot, but these are the cues I saw on rewatch.
  2. Rebecca!!! Selling 49% to fans!!!!! Keely & Rebecca, Richmond Women's Team!!!! BRAVO!! Rebecca & Boat Guy (and daughter) from Amsterdam!!! Our romcom ending. Roy & Jamie deciding to "let" Keeley make her own choice!!! Well deserved door shutting on their dumb asses! Roy!!!! New Manager!! Seeing Dr. Sharon, a permanent fixture now at club (and big fan)!!!!! Beard staying for Jane! Perfect. Sam! Made the national team! Happy for Ted going home. Happy for him & Henry. And I guess Michelle? Too much painting bad guys bad....Rupert, black sails in the wind. Of course, Dr. Jake not liking soccer. And, Nate, oh Nate, I'm sorry the writers made your downfall so bad, sorry they didn't correct the resurrection...if it had only been the sign, I could see him back. It was so much more, and not addressed, honestly, any work at all happening on screen. I'm pretty sure if I rewatch again, he will always stick out like a sore thumb back with the team. The writers blew it. The actor was great with what he was given. Huh. So, so, so much good in this show, near perfect first season, maybe a few hiccups second season, so many frustrations this season, but wow, so, so many knock it out of the park moments and episodes throughout. All in all, a good, sometimes great, watch. Now to see if Apple thinks they can monetize a fourth season out of Richmond AFC......
  3. Democracy was never the point of the show. It was just a leverage point in maneuvering in the power struggle. Just a lever to pull. Show was true to itself through the end.
  4. That’s all good. Don’t take away from your friends joy because it’s not for you. We all like what we like.
  5. Good thought! I sort of want to go back now as I think I can recall instances of Logan saying it. But if I’m not whole cloth making memories up, when he would say it, it was in a more dismissive tone. When they both say it. It is with hesitancy, lack of confidence. They knew the words of their father, never learned the power.
  6. If you don’t like, sincerely don’t watch. Lots of folks love it, I’m sure many like you don’t. Either way, all good!
  7. That’s always been a Kendall tick, maybe she just picked it up here (character or actor)?
  8. As if Shiv is the only one to betray the others! Just this season Kendall & Roman cut her out. Reshuffle & replay throughout all seasons as to who was screwing who. They are all deeply unserious people & none of them won in the end. Think Shiv is really happy?
  9. The King is dead. Long live the Queen?!!
  10. Well, that was lovely to watch.
  11. The thing is Heidi misplayed several times this season so all she had left was the Hail Mary at the end.
  12. Love that the only fake idol to fool was the one NOT planted by production.
  13. I can see why Carolyn didn’t win but I’m happy she got the edit she did.
  14. One thing I’m not looking forward to here..yamyam always takes digs at Carolyn at tribal, I hope he makes his case and doesn’t try to tear her down.
  15. I don’t think Carolyn can win if she goes with Heidi & Lauren.
  16. I just don’t understand this mess of a season. It has its moments, but holy hell we’ve gotten bloated episodes with cliff note versions of the storylines they are telling. The Nate storyline is fully unearned. I think they misplayed the last two seasons if they expect us to buy magic redemption for Nate without showing the work. The mom & Ted story is completely out of nowhere. & to me, the “thank you..fuck you” shorthand was off putting. Best storyline is Roy/Keely & Jamie & the most earned. Why sideline Keeley for 2/3rds of season? so frustrating!
  17. So, do we get a flashback scene at the beginning next week showing that Heidi did find the idol during this past episode but they are holding that info so as to keep the tension for this episode?
  18. Hmmm, thought we were about to see how they were thinning the cast down for next season there at the end.
  19. Bravo Mayim. Support writers!
  20. So, random thoughts. On the one hand, probably not best that Carolyn was yelling post-tribal to YamYam & Carson, but weirdly could have signaled to perhaps Jamie and Lauren that the three weren't that tight leading them to believe Carson would be more with them going forward? That could be interesting next week if Carson flips to them rather than just sit at final tribal with potentially one or two other Tika. As to YamYam telling Carolyn she did the same thing to him early in the game, I don't actually agree circumstances were equal. That was when there was 4 on Tika, with Josh being sent there and there being a suspicion that he was given an idol or a power. By YamYam and Sarah designating Carolyn as the decoy, she was immediately put at risk if Josh buys in, votes her, plays immunity to be safe & boom she's gone. I think YamYam would have been fine with that result & I'm not even sure if Carolyn filled him in on this knowledge, he wouldn't have tried to manipulate vote that way. While ultimately not necessary, I don't think it was a wasted idol play by Carolyn as she needed to get some foothold among the jury that she really is aware of what is going on in the game & is playing smartly. Yes, her threat level has been raised but better that than being a Romeo playing a fake idol (in her case it would be real) at the very end and impressing no one because she was never in danger of being voted off. Loved that she read Danny like a book---"is this the real plan or the fake plan?" Loved that she took out the Sanctuary two of Danny & Brandon who ignored her--"I'll see you at the merge!" I'm still not seeing a win for her unless she has a few great moves in the next episodes to distinguish herself from YamYam & Carson. God bless Jamie with all of her power and magic! It would be a fantastic misdirect by edit if this is ultimately a power move by her pulling Carson to her & Lauren to seize control. I don't see it, but I would bow down if it happened.
  21. Which are? Again, she’s delightful , love her for that.
  22. The thing to me though is that it was stupid of her to lie so much to Sota as clearly the truth was going to come out in the merge when everyone talks. Another false step by her. Sure, production is ‘dunking’ on her, but I don’t think in a bad way…rather as the lovable oddball supporting character in a sitcom. I for one love her enthusiasm but also see the comedic value in her consistent misreads! I don’t think she’s getting a bad edit, I think she’s getting a delightful character edit & producers are having fun with her edit. And, assuming she doesn’t win, great exposure to come back for returning season. I have to believe, based on what I’ve seen on show, she must be laughing along with the rest of us.
  23. Some very nice scenes scattered within an episode and season that lost thread and heart of its own show. I miss Bill Lawrence’s guiding hand. I’m sure there will be a satisfying ending, but 8 (at least) of 12 episodes being at least a half (some more) a bubble off is a very bad ratio. Sigh.
  24. Could have been either, but I assumed as Carolyn is a recovering addict, it was meant for her.
