Original Flavor Season Talk: Dinner at Rodbell's
Max fan replied to Rhondinella's topic in Roseanne [V]
Same with me! I never liked the Halloween eps. for the exact same reason you mentioned! I really liked the Thanksgiving eps. though! -
I'm looking forward to seeing this tonight! I saw the movie ,( Robert Blake played one of the killers) when I was a young girl. It was pretty shocking!!
-
Oh cool ! Thanks for responding! I will be watching it!
-
When is ID going to show this?
-
I really liked this movie!! I love biography movies and was really excited to see this. Glad I did. It was even better than I though! Very entertaining! Superb acting !
-
Very overrated IMO! I didn't think it was good at all ! Could have been a made for TV movie. Waste of money seeing this in the theater! I usually like Laurie Metcalfe , that was the only reason I even saw it! She was OK , but none of the other actors/ characters were very likable or memorable !
-
I know! I can't believe they aren't showing it at all. The reason I specifically mentioned Sundays was because that was the only day I could watch it. I work on Sundays , and I would just be getting home right before 4, in time to see I love Lucy, it was a comfort watching after working, Something I looked forward to! ' s

I'm upset that METV took it off Sunday afternoons ! I loved seeing Lucy between 4-5!!
-
Lucy : " They are chic hostess pants, the kind you wear when you give smart dinner parties." Ethel : "Oh, I've been wondering what to wear to all those smart dinner parties I give". Lucy: Well, now, wait a minute, Ethel! Look- you get yourself a little black, off-the-shoulder blouse and a big crushy belt and little ballet slippers, and you're all set! Ethel: What for? Halloween?

That a very frail elderly neighbor lady (Mrs. Trumball) will be able / have the strength to babysit an infant/toddler/ little boy at any time with only a few minutes notice ! \

I thought Cuban Pete was really cool! Every time I see that ep. it stays in my head and I find myself singing it for hours later! I liked it too! "You said you would return the dress, you said YOU would"! LOL!!
-
I just saw Erik Estrada looking hot playing himself, guest starring on an episode of the Nannny!!
-
Oh yes! I've been thinking of ordering it from Amazon! He was also really good in a movie called "The last riders' from the early 90's, and he was still hot in his early 40's!
-
LOL!!!! Thanks I needed a good laugh!!!
-
Wow!! How uncomfortable that would be!! I think she's cute! I like her hair!
-
Yeah! Victoria looked more like she could be Liz's daughter than Carolyn did !
-
Oh wow! I never knew there was another actor who played Willie before John Karlin!
-
I know! It's sad huh. Seeing Bruce back than , big, burly and masculine and now as Caitlyn! Oh yes!! Baricza/Bear was VERY hot!!!
-
Yeah! It seemed like that to me too! Like she wasn't his type of something. Maybe the goofy Marcia Clark perm! But than I read that Erik and Beverly had really dated at one point, and when this ep. was filmed they were still really good friends!
-
I started watching Chips a few years ago when METV started running it and got a major crush on Erik! I ordered his book on Amazon and he really does seem like a very nice guy ! I still like him but my crush has diminished some! But I still prefer Ponch to Jon, although Jon is cute too! Also the blonde guy they brought in the last season after Larry left ,Bobby was pretty cute too! And I also bought some movies Erik was in and he really is a pretty decent actor. He was very good in a role he played in " The cross and the switch blade" with Pat Boone . A true story of a gang member turned Christian . Erik was very young. The movie was from 1971 or 72! And he guest starred in a few TV shows such as Baretta before he was on Chips!

Leave It To Beaver - General Discussion
Max fan replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Leave It To Beaver
Me too!! I love Mrs. Mondello! The poor lady, she was so old ! Larry was most likely a "change of life baby' and Mrs. Mondello was overwhelmed with raising a little boy esp. being that Mr. Mondello was always out of town! -
Did anyone here like the last ep. "The hair-brained scheme" ? I actually think it was a really good episode! Even though Robert Reed wasn't in it. I found it funny and entertaining! Greg's hair turning orange!! Funny because nowadays that wouldn't even be that big of a deal , the way the young people are all into different color hair and all!
-
I was never very fond of "The Hustler" (Pool table) episode ! I like Bobby and I like Jim Backus (loved him as Thurston Howell ) but this Brady Bunch episode was one of the worst IMO!
