Here we go with the Meghan “Whataboutism” McCain... I don’t know what type of media she’s been consuming lately, but Andrew Cuomo is getting it from all sides. Also I’m sorry, but what Ted Cruz did - fly to Cancun while his state is literally freezing to death, came back only because he got caught, subsequently threw his family under the bus, then changed his story again - is far worse than what Nancy Pelosi and Gavin Newsome did. And someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure Pelosi and Newsome didn’t make a bunch of excuses and change their stories multiple times.

While I agree with some of what you said, anything further would be OT so we’ll have to agree to disagree and leave it at that.

Yassssss Sunny 🙌🏽 Trump has openly embraced QAnon and its supporters. It’s quite clear that this is his party now, and by extension, the party of QAnon and everything else Sunny mentioned yesterday. Meghan basically acknowledged this without realizing it by saying she’s “worried” about the direction her tribe is going in now. Everyone on the panel warned Meghan that this could happen for years now and she always dismissed it, even as recently as yesterday. She wouldn’t be “worried” if she didn’t know deep down that it’s the truth.

Re: everyone’s comments about late-term abortion, I agree. Meghan has brought it up several times on the show without ever giving any context - it’s done for dire medical reasons.

Meghan said if the Republican Party is the party of QAnon, then the Democratic Party is the party of cancel culture, late-term abortions, socialism and burning down buildings in Kenosha with no consequences. Which Democrats are rallying around late-term abortion? I wish she’d name them. Cancel culture? Her tribe is literally censuring everyone in her party who speaks out against Trump. That’s literal cancel culture. The party of socialism? Well, we’ve seen video evidence on this very show that she can’t even define socialism. Which Democrats encouraged or condoned burning down buildings and what proof does she have that they were all Democrats? I’d like actual names and actual proof, Meghan. What an outrageous example of false equivalencies. Even her beloved uncle Lindsey Graham acknowledged that Trump IS the Republican Party. It’s time for her to face reality. Meghan is truly an idiot and I despise her.

This happened with two of my girlfriends. I used to be incredibly close to them, but ultimately had to cut them loose for my own mental sanity. The batshit crazy stuff they were spouting became too much for me. One of these ex-friends talks about Trump in a biblical way, as if he’s the second coming of Jesus Christ or something and the other one became an over-the-top conspiracy theorist pertaining to everything from the election, to voting machines, to certain politicians and famous people being pedophiles, etc. It’s unfortunate, but I value facts, reality, and my mental health far too much to deal with that mess.

Tonight’s show just didn’t do it for me, sorry. Something seemed off. A lot of the jokes just weren’t landing or fell flat. I love Regina King though and only stuck it out until the end for her.
