We were actually in the UK when Ian struck so we missed the heavy rain and winds. Minimal damage to our house but a lot of trees came down all around us. It’s still a mess but we were lucky, just south of us people lost everything.

Henry probably gets hand me downs that are all stretched out, and the girls wear dresses not too tight shirt and shorts. We’ve seen all of them in pjs that look too tight also.

@Scarlett45 100% agree with Talbot’s for pants. I’m retired now, but Talbot’s was my go to store for business wear. I still have all my Talbot’s sweaters too! Classic and basic. All of a sudden I’m getting ads here on PrimeTimers. Did something change?

Are we supposed to think it’s cute that Layla is “obsessed” with nail polish? Well Carlin, it’s not. It just shows how dumb you and Evan are as parents. Even if it’s staged or Layla was encouraged by Carlin, it’s just for SM clicks.

Just catching up here. Ozziedad was a career prosecutor until he retired. We ended up moving away from the town we grew up in once he was transferred there. It was very uncomfortable seeing the people from your kid’s school, sports team, etc in court on a regular basis. Also a bit scary for me when the grocery store cashier took my check, examined my name, address and phone number while asking if I was married to that guy at the courthouse. So I hope Jill and Dreck are a bit cautious about that side of things.

Checking in from SW Florida. We were actually in London visiting our daughter last week when the hurricane hit our area. It was very nerve racking to not know how Ozzie was doing. He was with a new dog sitter, she turned out to be fabulous. Turns out he slept through the whole thing! Our original flight back was canceled but we eventually made it home. The water had only receded a little in our neighborhood so it was a stressful drive in. Fortunately minimal damage to our house but a real mess of tree branches everywhere. We had power but no internet and phone service was spotty to nonexistent. But it’s all back now. We feel very fortunate as it could have been much worse.

Maybe Lydia or Trace is making their entrance on the boat.

I think Saturday is usually a wedding job for Josie. Plus Carlin doesn’t even use the barrettes from Josie, she has shared links to a different hair accessories company. So I doubt Josie will ever be at a BSB event.

Who needs a TV when you can park 4 kids around a tablet or laptop to watch Fundie approved movies? Or hand them your phone to entertain themselves. I sort of skipped around the video of the home tour, looked like a lot of Jessa explaining not showing. I still can’t get over the placement of the fireplace!
