  1. For sure. She should be grateful that she's still on the team. Finish out the season well and then retire. Honestly, she would be crazy to return next year IMO, and to be blunt, I think 6 years is too long for any DCC in the first place.
  2. The twitter account posted several videos today.
  3. I just re-watched the episode for the first time, and on the Jenna conversation, all I can think is that there had to be very heavy editing in that conversation. By that, I mean not just that Jenna got a better edit because she is still on the team but perhaps the conversation itself was much deeper and about a broader range of issues than the clubbing with players. For her to get to sidelined from Canton, they had to know she was there at the club with Holly, so only focusing on leadership makes little sense to me. I just remember reading posts on the board from people saying that it was well known in the Dallas circles that they run in that Holly was sleeping with and smoking weed, etc with Zeke. I wonder if while the tv portion of that conversation focused on being in clubs, the bigger issue was what was rumored to be going on outside of and after they/she left the club with players. Again, it may just all be an editing issue and a matter of the DCCs/CMT protecting the girl who is still on the team, but if the real issue was just being seen at clubs, then Jenna's lack of leadership is problematic but secondary. Her being there is a violation in and of itself, which they did not touch on at all, based on what we saw. Assuming that Holly is off of the team due to her choice to quit and not K&J changing their minds, I do wonder though if seeing the way Jenna has been treated makes her have any regrets. Unlike others, I don't think Holly would've been treated much worse than Jenna had she stayed. I think if she were still on the team, she would've received a better edit and could likely be on her way to being showcased again in show group performances, etc. All she had to do was take the punishment, put on a happy face, and stay out of trouble, and it may well have all been forgiven. For all of the talk about Jenna being absent from Canton and losing point, she is still in the triangle (a more prominent position than most DCCs will ever achieve in their careers), visible in every single picture of the main formation, and a group one leader. I"m sure she's highly embarrassed by this whole ordeal, as she should be, but in the grand scheme of things, she didn't suffer that much. I have no reason to believe it would have been different for Holly had she sucked it up and took her lumps. Now, if she just decided that she was over it and wanted to move on, then I respect that, but it it was a tantrum (ex: "let's see how good they are without me; i bet they'll be begging me to come back"), then I imagine she may have some real regrets at some point.
  4. Exactly what I saw. “Genuinely sorry” is about the last thing I took from that Office visit. Judging by her current social media behavior and her going awol the next day after that meeting, I’m even less likely to see “genuinely sorry.”
  5. There is no doubt that there is a leadership void this year with the team. However, I'm not sure I buy that its the reason for the current issues. if anything, I think the bigger problem is likely that there has not been consistent discipline over the years, especially for people who were among the best dancers and fan favorites, like Holly, Jenna, and Erica. Everyone seems to think Jenn K was a great leader, and I agree that she was, but the same thing was happening last year under her watch. There will always be people who break the rules or engage in risky behavior, and there's not always anything you can do to stop it. As an example, in college, there was a girl who was part of my extended circle of friends. She was more of a friend to me through other people, but regardless we would often end up at the same parties, group trips, etc. She had an awful habit of disappearing. Like, she would be there one minute and then gone the next. She would show back up later and act like it was no big deal and that everyone was silly for worrying. Everyone hated it, but she always did it, and for all I know still does (we didn't keep in touch after college). Thank god nothing ever happened to her, but had she been found dead in a ditch one morning, I'm sure everyone would've said "why didn't her friends stop her from leaving," and the answer would've been because we couldn't. She did what she wanted to do. If I hadn't witnessed that over and over again in college, perhaps I would be more likely to agree that leadership or good friends alone can stop bad or risky behavior, but that's not always the case. Holly (and others on the team) may just be someone who does what she does, and that's that. Now, I don't buy that Jenna attempted in any meaningful way to stop her (she was an enabler), but even if she had, it may not have mattered.
  6. I agree as well regarding Taryn making the team. I think she is far stronger than Christina, and while I don't think she is glamorous, I think she is cute and would not have looked out of place at all as a DCC.
  7. I'm sure they had evidence as well even if it was simply multiple people calling K&J and saying that they were at such and such club and saw Holly there with a Dallas Cowboys player. That is evidence (that's not hearsay and would be admissible in court, although they certainly are not in court or any sort of formal proceeding where the rules of evidence matter). I can guess that if they just had gossip, they would not have confronted Holly and Jenna in the manner that they did, but regardless, it was clear that they knew before ever speaking to them. Why Holly didn't seem to understand that and lied threw her teeth, making the situation worse, I do not know.
  8. Yep. I imagine that if they were 2 year vets and middle of the road dancers, both likely would have been cut.
  9. Holly didn’t walk away from anything last night. In fact, she said DCC was her everything. She may walked away eventually, but she didn’t look like she was above it all on last night’s episode. She got caught, tried to outright lie, figured out K&J weren’t buying her bullshit, then tried to partially lie. When that also didn’t work, she resorted to tears and the same “there’s no excuse for this, I was wrong” line that everyone falls back on when called out by K&J. I thought she looked like an idiot and isn’t anywhere near as clever as she thinks she is. Jenna of course did not come off well either.
  10. I find the suggestion that Jenna was supposed to stop Holly from dating football players to be rather ridiculous. The going club hopping with Holly at 21 and up clubs is different. I think Jenna bears some responsibility for that, but the dating/sleeping with players.... nah. Likewise, I don’t think it was Danielle’s job to stop or snitch on Paige 2 years ago though I’m sure she knew what was going on. I don’t think it was Erica’s job to stop or snitch on Jenna for seeing Dak last year either although I’m sure she also knew. If anything, Jenna should of told Holly to stop hanging with Zeke in public, but otherwise, these are all grown adults.
  11. Yeah, I honestly think this may be the extent of it. Regardless of the differences in conversations, Holly and Jenna got the same punishment with both being sidelined from HOF. I assume Holly also would have lost her position in the formation, but she wasn’t as visible as Jenna anyway, so it would not have been as big of deal. They definitely treated Jenna better on CMT, but Holly quit long before she ever saw how the episode was edited.
  12. That’s interesting. I guess it’s just immaturity on Holly’s part. Given that this wasn’t her first infraction, the punishment actually wasn’t that severe. Not sure why she flipped out, but maybe she talked to someone who blew her head up, “just quit! You’re better without them. They’ll be flailing in the water without you!” - that sort of thing. Hopefully she learns and grows up. It at least appears that Jenna has at least pulled her crap together. Even if it’s partly based on trying to get on K&J’s good side again, at least pretending like you’re sorry and making yourself useful (helping the rookies while the vets are in Ohio for example) can go a long way in how ppl view you. If Holly is going to continue being a “bad girl,” then she needs to get savvier. First, don’t get caught! Second, realize when you get caught! Jenna correctly recognized immediately that they were caught and went into survival mode. It took Holly way too long to understand that they weren’t “asking” her if she violated the nonfraternization policy, but that they were confronting her with knowledge that she did. You could tell Judy was completely over it once she lied right off the bat.
  13. I hope the next episode is the last that we hear about the Jenna/Holly drama honestly. I feel like it has put a damper over the whole season (for those of us who were spoiled and knew what was coming), and then the big reveal last night was a huge letdown. I’m ready to just watch some dancing.
  14. I’m curious if we’ve seen the last of Holly. If it’s true that she sent a nasty note quitting, then I imagine, they will cover her leaving in the beginning of the episode, chalk it up to immaturity, and then move on. I would love to know who turned them/Holly in. Obviously it appeared Kelli had multiple sources but one was clearly someone (or multiple ppl) on the team. I think the show made a mistake in not showing Jenna getting reprimanded for her own behavior, which I’m assuming happened. It makes it look like she got in trouble (more than Whitney did for blackface, literally both of my friends who texted me after the show mentioned the Whitney thing) for not coming to K&J and telling on Holly or for not controlling her actions. Holly is 20, not 12, and likely has a fake Id. I’m sure she and Jenna made it to club on their own accord and should both stand on their own actions. If (big if) my friends are indicative of the views of the non-spoiled, casual viewer, she may come off looking sympathetic. Perhaps Jenna did threaten to quit and for whatever reason like was stated earlier, Kelli didn’t want to lose both Holly and Jenna at once so they caved and refused to show any of it, but I would’ve called her bluff.
  15. Honestly for 2 people who grew up in the social media age, how on earth did Holly and Jenna think that this information wouldn’t surface. Ppl have smart phones everywhere. Beyond that, Kelli literally gave Holly a list of clubs and she still continued to lie and say she was only with Jenna. Girl! I can’t imagine if that’s difficult to keep a relationship with a player secret if you really wanted to. This is either pure stupidity or just not caring. And the Erica stuff looks even worse after this. They made an example out of her 2 besties, and she still couldn’t stay outta trouble for one weekend. Cmon.
  16. They keep saying 4 more cuts, so I feel like they have to address Erica’s dismissal somehow (even if they use the injury excuse). The only reasons I can think of the different treatment between Holly/Jenna is 1) they value Jenna on the team more; 2) while they both got in trouble for fraternization last year, Jenna stopped sleeping with a player (whether her choice or his, who knows) and Holly kept sleeping with a player; or 3) it comes down to the underage drinking thing. I’m truly shocked by how little attention they paid to the under 21 in a 21 and up club issue. Its not a big deal to most ppl but it was an easy out for them. I thought this episode would clear up some things, but it didn’t.
  17. That was weird. The way it was put to her, she didn’t really have a choice. It wasn’t a “is Holly hooking up with a player” thing. It was more of a “we know Holly is hooking up with a player and that you know, why didn’t you say something.” Now if her own prior fraternization had been mentioned and then they transferred into the poor leadership thing, that makes more sense. So maybe that happened and it was cut.
  18. That was bizarre. If there was something more with Jenna, they should’ve shown it because it just looks like she got a severe punishment for not being a rat. I just got a text from a non-spoiled friend, who was like “why exactly is Jenna in trouble again? She didn’t do anything.” Holly just went straight to lying. Cmon girl! Obviously if they’re confrinting you, they already know!! Also, did anyone else catch the “constant locker room talk” or whatever it was comment? Obviously someone on the team is telling K&J what they hear.
  19. http://hollywoodlife.com/2017/09/28/dallas-cowboys-cheerleaders-sneak-peek-season-12-video/amp/ Has this been posted yet? If so, sorry, but a quick overview of the last page or so made it seem like one the preview had been posted. This is an actual sneak peak of the office visit.
  20. I don’t think the nonfraternization policy would have to apply to all employees for the DCCs and org to be concerned about potential sexual harassment. For all I know, other employees may have nonfraternization policies as well, but I think it would depend on the connection between other people who work for the Cowboys and the players (and of course, a nonfrat policy wont stop a sexual harassment lawsuit anyway, it’s just a preventative measure for an employer). While I think in reality, there’s not a big connection between pro football players and pro cheerleaders, there is a perception that there is. This largely comes because cheerleaders are seen by many as being there “for” the players and because it’s common for athletes and cheerleaders to date in high school and college (at least it was where I went). And of course, part of the DCC brand is that they’re young and hot and attractive to men. I don’t think any of those things apply to an admin assistants who works at the Star or someone who works at a concession although they are certainly less powerful than players as well. I agree though that K&J probably have their own concerns. They certainly don’t want girls seeing DCC as a gateway to being Mrs. [Dallas Cowboy Player], like Paige.
  21. He doesn’t even have criminal charges, right? Don’t get me wrong, he seems to be seriously lacking in the character department, but let’s not conflate the NFL’s investigation, which seems highly suspect in its own right, with actual criminal charges.
  22. Exactly, and I don’t remember Bailey saying anything about Holly and Zeke sleeping together when she posted about seeing Holly and Jenna at the club, but K&J apparently knew that as well. I’m sure they have many sources, and its not like it would be a secret that a top football player was in the club that night. Anyone coulda snapped a picture of them and sent it to K&J. It doesn’t sound like Holly was even attempting to be discrete, so I’m not going to blame anyone else for her getting caught.
  23. Holly and Erica were both gone before the team was finalized (Erica was released the day of, I believe), so I don’t believe the picture was retaken.
  24. I wonder how they’re going to play the fraternization angle. Are they going to make it clear that she was hooking up with a player or just play it off as her hanging out at a club with one? Also, if any insiders know, what exactly did Jenna get in trouble for? Is it for just being with Holly (she obviously knows she’s underage) at the club and also I’m assuming being in Zeke’s enteorage, or something else? I guess we’ll find out tomorrow regardless.
