  1. With no HOH, noms, POV and eviction, then it has to be a vote on who to bring back. They need something to discuss endless during the week and it will be Jared and Cam making their cases. Instead of sadly evoting to evict next Thursday, the HGs will sadly evoting to resurrect.
  2. Yes, having an audience will be weird. I wonder if LMAD is going back to a full audience as well. The audience area seems a lot smaller than the old one. I also don't like Contestant's Row being on the same level as the stage. It was like that for 50 years and like many other iconic elements of the set, while it was updated over the years it stayed fundamentally the same. I hated the Covid podiums and there's a reason they went back to Contestant's Row as soon as they could.
  3. So being on the block makes America horny? OK, Jane Austin Powers. Don't let Cory figure that out or he'll end up evicting his showmance. I love that no one is floating back to Cirie. It's about time these people rubbed two brain cells together. I realize Cam is desperate but he needs to give up trying to work with Jared. No good will come of it and it won't work anyway.
  4. There are recruiting signs for the Air Force and Space Force I've seen popping up. It includes the logos for each, and about the Space Force...familiar much?
  5. Was I the only one who didn't care for Nicole's rendition of Purple Rain? It was an odd choice for that segment anyway since it made it come off like some sad goodbye rather than the kickoff to a new season of some lighthearted reality show.
  6. I don't care for her either. They kept showing her in the commercials saying "The individual part of Survivor is where I shined." Really? Is that what you were barely given an edit throughout the season even though you made final 3? I would seriously lose my shit over that elimination challenge. After about the third time (being generous) my pyramid fell I'd be spewing so much foul language Paramount+ would have to bleep me. 3 hours of that bullshit is insane.
  7. I think it's in case you hit your head on a rock if you tip over. Or to protect you from Covid.
  8. It's a shame Felicia is probably the one going because she's entertaining and seems to be having some fun unlike Cirie and Izzy, who are smug and mercenary. Plus props to Felicia with how she reacted to being nominated vs the other two. "You got me. Ha ha. Now I'm coming for you.".
  9. My cable guide now shows the new show starting tomorrow, but I still don't reruns of old TPC episodes until the following week. Weird. I'll probably get an old episode of the Andy Griffith Show that features Andy acting as the Justice of the Peace. In looking for the shows, I noticed there are a lot of court shows. So. Many. Court. Shows. Like, who the hell is real courtrooms adjudicating real cases? Is ever filing now automatically routed to Central Casting?
  10. That pie thing might have been the best nomination since that damn Bluetooth Box showed up. Izzy taking off her glasses off was priceless. At least Felicia put her dental fixture back in when she saw which way the wind was blowing. The best part was Cirie and Izzy all teary-eyed bitching and moaning about how awful and unfair Cameron's nominations were. I love it when the smug ones get a taste of their own medicine. In the words of a former HG I'm not nearly enamored with as BB is: You got got. Also, isn't this Cirie whining like one of her children is on the block (seriously, the only think worse would be Jared or Grey, not necessarily in that order) the same one monologuing a few weeks ago that while she likes Izzy she knew she'd eventually have to cut her because she was a clingy, messy game player? If Cirie were as great and cutthroat as her (not nearly as deserved as the CBS press machine would have us believe) reputation, she would take this opportunity to get Izzy out and eliminate a threat to her secret.
  11. It's a longshot, but if the jury twist turns out to be they won't be sequestered then letting the evicted HGs battle back makes sense. I don't see why they would do that though since it destroys Project FFW (Fields For the Win). OTOH, maybe they're tired of Jared and figure since he's trying to reveal the secret himself and Izzy could decide to spill if backed into a corner then why not blow them up for the drama. If Blue's head was in the game and not up TikTok's ass then then it would have already blown up in Jared's face because she should have been pressing him to spill and stirring up the house with what he said.
  12. Looks like the new show starts a week from Monday. My cable guide shows it as two half hour episodes. I'm assuming after it's been running for a while the second half hour will always be repeats. Most of the half hour game shows that run for an hour seem to work that way. Strangely, it seems like the reruns of old TPC episodes restart in my area on the same day. Really curious to see what the new show is like.
  13. Please put up Jared and Grey, the 18th HG and third member of the Fields family playing this season. I am so sick of the shout outs during the Live votes. They're annoying AF to begin with but they're basically the same every week. Why doesn't Production tell them to can it. And if they have and the HGs are ignoring them give them a penalty nom. Or FFS cutoff their mic after they vote. The awards shows finally grew a pair and started cutting people off so it's about time for BB to do the same.
  14. Maybe I'm not upset about it being cancelled after all.
  15. So no Janice this season? She wasn't the best character but she's Al daughter and should be part of the team. Is the new guy replacing Magic or is he a "looking over their shoulders" character?
  16. Interesting. I guess the production company is still offering old shows and my local station decided not to continue. Hope the new show starts soon but it's not looking good that I'll get it in my area.
  17. No TPC here either. The new season usually started on Labor Day so I'm assuming the syndication contracts expired last week so no more show. I'm getting old sitcoms and and infomercials in the slots where TPC aired so I'm hoping that's just temporary until the new show starts and it goes in the same slots.
  18. Bringing back Jonathan is a good start. I want the larger displays/backdrops back too. And Todd. Or at least someone associated with the horror movie industry--they've have different people in that slot before. And Tea Baggins had best be gone. FN seems to have gotten part of the message but they need to fix this show baclk to the way it was.
  19. I have a feeling Maurice is going to be a professional seat warmer and the Susan Lucci of evictions this season. Nobody likes him, he doesn't flip out when he's put up as a pawn and he can't back up his game talk. I'm not sure he'll be Victoriaed to the end, but his usefulness as a living mannequin should get him a reservation at the jury house.
  20. There was no reason for the real Riker to act that way. Tom knew O'Brien would start reminiscing as bout events on the Enterprise and if he did that his cover would be blown. Acting like there was some rift between them prevented any conversation between the two that could trip Tom up. O'Brien was obviously bewildered, but since Riker was a senior officer he had no choice but to leave as ordered. O'Brien was still going to know something was off and probably would have contacted Geordi to find out what's going on but Tom has already stolen the Defiant. He just needed to get O'Brien off the ship right then for his plan to work.
  21. Who the hell in Amanda? She obviously came along after I stopped watching which was around the time they started bringing in people from other MTV shows. She seems like she came from Jersey Shore. Dusty's letter to Johnny was Uber cringy. Like worse than that letter in Survivor Heroes vs Villains. I'd almost feel bad for Dusty at the way Johnny mockingly read it except a) he wrote the damn thing and b) it was a little stalkery. Who was it that said Luis was a firefighter while Chris looked like a couch potato...right after Chris mentioned he played college football. Say what you will about Chris's Survivor win but he doesn't look like a slacker.
