  1. I can't believe they got Trisha Yearwood to show up for this shit. She normally stays out of the FN fray and does her own thing. After Grind Gate hopefully she's learned her lesson.
  2. I take comfort in the irony that Corey apparently used those tips to check out Frank himself rather than the ladies.
  3. A Tiffany HOH would be kinda awesome. The house would go batshit crazy.
  4. I believe it was said somewhere in the first season that the virus had wiped out 80% of the population. Presumably, areas with greater population density were hit harder. 20% is still a lot of people in the world and and could keep some level of infrastructure going assuming the survivors had sufficient skill set. However until the Nathan James returned, there was a fatal, highly communicable disease running rampant across the planet. Most people were likely trying to isolate their families, only venturing out for what supplies were needed for survival (much like we saw that captain's family in season 1). In that situation, most people aren't going to risk going to work to keep the GPS satellites up, package Honey Bunches of Oats or keep the local Waffle House open 24/7.
  5. Top Chef (and every other reality show) stole it from Survivor. The granddaddy of all reality shows did it first with Redemption Island.
  6. They are doing Camp Cuthroat again this year. Subtitled Alton's Revenge. On the promo Alton looked like some deranged mental institution escapee you'd see in a low rent horror movie.
  7. Calendar Man? That's a legit villain? Seriously? What, is he part of the Microsoft suite of supervillains, along with Dr. Excel and Madame Word?
  8. I now have an image of Michelle as Violet Beauregard from Willy Wonka. Oopma Loompa Doopity Do, baby.
  9. Eh, just some extra protein. The slop eaters should be all over that.
  10. One of the click bait ads at the bottom of the screen is "22 stars of The Brady Bunch, Then and Now" Not to sound like The Brady Bunch Movie, but there were only 9 stars, 10 if count Sam. Ok 11 if you count Oliver. But 22?
  11. I can't help but hear Mr. Rooney from Ferris Bueller's Day Off: "So THAT'S how it is in that family."
  12. Yeah, "wifey spy"....WTF? If you have 3 women then I would have went with a Charlie's Angels theme. But anything would be better than that nonsense they came up with. The best was how excited they were to be in alliance....of 3 people. It's good to have core that you can hang with to the end but in a house of 15 people that's not going to do anything for you. I didn't see them doing anything to build temporary alliances. Natalie reminds me of Tara from The Walking Dead and Michelle reminds me of Lori. Maybe it's because 50% of the house collective has the intelligence of a single Walker that's making me see characters from that show.
  13. Withe some creativity and showmanship, you can keep a quick change act interesting. Prince Poppycock was fairly one note, but he made it to the finals...and might have won if not for Piers' stank-ass attitude.
  14. A cross country caravan? This is starting to sound a little Z Nation-ish.
  15. Um, Guy does. Not 5hat it nullifies your point.
  16. When did Wendy Pepper go into body painting?
  17. Given that he had to go through a reality show gauntlet to become an Iron Chef (even though he was already a FN "name"), I'm sure GZ is willing to go through a lot if it means being on TV.
  18. I like Tim Gunn ok, but he bugs the shit out of me in that Allstate commercial. I don't know if it's because it makes no sense for him to be shilling homeowner's insurance or how he's trying to relate it to a suit or what but i just want him off my screen. If he's going to sell out and do commercials, why isn't he doing one for Red Lobster?
  19. So I guess this show isn't coming back? Despite the renewal last year, it's been radio silence since then. There's no news stories about the show, IMDB doesn't show a second season in production and it's not on the coming soon show list on the NBC website. I guess They Can't Do That.
  20. CBS did a revival of Password a few years ago called Million Dollar Password. And yes, Betty White guested.
  21. I liked Sale of the Century and Press Your Luck. However, both had revivals that were absolute dreck. SotC in particular bore almost no resemblance to the original. I'd also like to see Concentration / Classic Concentration again.
  22. They used to do that...back when this show was called Food Network Challenge. They even threw in a non-cake episode every so often. With the deck being stacked with bakers on NFNS, I'm kinda hoping they're planning in bringing back Challenge and dropping the winner there. OTOH, most of the bakers on there annoy me so it's kinda of a wash.
