  1. Sam is in a different place this season. He told Dean he lied about not trying to save his life, that he would find a spell or something. They had bonded in a positive way and most likely he'll be upset that Dean once again tried to protect him and keep him safe, but I think he finally gets this is Dean. His line lets just do this before we find something else to fight about, is Sam accepting I think that they both have different values and viewpoints. He tried once again at the end of Season 7 to have his normal life and leave it all behind but it didn't exactly create the apple pie life. Sam also has a target, Crowley and Metatron and Sam always does better when he has a goal to reach for. Don't know how valid this spoiler is, but It does give the title for the 3 ep the one that Jensen is directing and looks like it might be pretty in line. Honestly very seldom does this show surprise me...so this seems in line with what I think they could do. Of course they can change their mind quickly once the fan feedback starts in. As for Jensen Ackles' character Dean Winchester, the latest spoiler reports tease that fans should prepare seeing a really scary Dean in "Supernatural" Season 10. According to the Enstars report, "Supernatural" Season 10, Episode 3 will have the title "Soul Survivor" where the new female character, Rowena, will be introduced. It will also be the episode that "Supernatural" actor Jensen Ackles will work on as the director. http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/558707/20140710/supernatural-season-10-spoilers-premiere-episode-title.htm#.U77XGLHDU7l Even if it isn't totally true it can create some interesting ideas. Check out the link if you want to read the whole article. I figure they are doing what they planned to do with Sam in Season 3. He was suppose to turn bad in order to save Dean from going to hell. So this does seem like something Carver would enjoy doing. More information will be coming out soon as yes it is still a bit early but they are working on ep 3 since Jensen is back at work, directing. So this would be the twist of now it's Dean's turn to turn bad afterall, Sam was soulless in season 6, so the rinse and repeat does seem to line up with the shows history.

Best Actor in a Drama: Jensen Ackles, Supernatural Best Cast on Twitter: Supernatural Best Shocker: Dean turns into a demon, Supernatural Show You Can't Believe Is Still on the Air: Bachelor franchise Best Guest Star: Osric Chau, Supernatural If you want to see the rest of the winners, I think the link works, I hope. I thought it was cool that Jensen won but the last time I checked, Supernatural wasn't winning the best shocker, so that surprised me. Cool to see Supernatural do so well. :) How on earth is the Bachelor still on? Beats me but I'll watch the worst Supernatural eps over that show, hands down! lol. http://www.eonline.com/news/558288/forget-the-emmys-find-out-who-the-internet-loves-as-we-reveal-the-winners-of-the-2014-best-ever-tv-awards
  4. Well he has to do something but can he beat the pies in his face? What would it be to work in environment where everyone is having fun. Will be interesting to see what else he comes up with. :)

  8. @catrox14 Now that is very sad. I don't have time to really write down what I think, but I do believe John loved both his boys and when you think about his history and the horror he witnessed with his wife dying in such a terrifying way, it makes sense in a twisted sort of way. I think it is much more complicated than John didn't love his sons, or loved one more than the other. I don't think John could kill Sam, and I think he also knew he didn't stand a chance in saving Sam without Dean. You can see the wheels turning even though Dean is yelling at him to do something and asking don't you even care. He knows Dean is dying and only trading his life would give Dean a chance. That is why I like this one so much, it really has so many unanswered questions and I take John's last speech to heart , that he really did wish he had time to fix things. But he also knew how short of time he had been given, and he had to warn Dean. He didn't have time to explain it because he had kept too many secrets for far too long. Is John father of the year, never...but I do believe he loved both of his sons and that is the most tragic part of the whole thing. So much wasted time and bad choices, but isn't that what we do sometimes?
  9. clowns as evil wasn't the issue and it really wasn't the creep factor. Some clowns are funny to watch and yes I know the movies like to go for the creep factor. I just didn't like the whole story, thought it was weak to begin with. It has a few good moments but then I'm not in love with horror. I've had enough horror in my real life, so I don't seek out fear for entertainment, but this one didn't scare me. I don't have a problem if others love this one, I just don't feel much about it either way and not really a fan of bad carnival shows. Something wicked was the only one I remember being pretty good but I was much younger when I watched it. I'm sure it was suppose to be a take off of "It", but then again I would never go watch it either. I haven't seen Jensen in his horror film so that let's you know that I don't go see something just because I like the actor. I've still never forgiven two very famous actors, one being Robert De Niro, & Meryl Streep in an awful waste of my time in one of the worst movies ever - Falling in Love. I think the other problem I have is that case just seems like a bad one to follow Dean's near death. But I haven't like their clown eps that much anyway and I really hate when they get heavy on the gore. I guess it just feels like this story has been done to death in too many films and their version wasn't that good. JMV. This world would be very boring if we all loved the same things, right? :)
  10. I liked Dean forcing Sam to sit in the clown chair, and the road conversation, and the introduction of Ellen, Jo and Roadhouse. I didn't like Ash that much but I do like Ellen and Jo. I just didn't see Jo as a good match for Dean as a love interest and even Kripke declared it was wrong to do that, when her character was too inexperienced as a hunter and she fit the little sister roll. I just hate the clown as the monster part, so it isn't my favorite but I do watch because there are parts I really like.
  11. DittyDotDot -- I really like part of Usual Suspects but since it was going down, I just helped it along and I know how you hate to see one linger near death. Nightshifter -- Tall Tales -- All Hell Brakes Loose, Pt 2 + (@Sue B I can agree and actually like it better than some of the ones that are higher, so since my favs are not totally in danger yet, I'll vote for... Dean's speech, the crossroad's deal, his conversation w/ Bobby... ) 49 - In My Time of Dying 49 - What Is and What Should Never Be 33 - Nightshifter 31 - Hollywood Babylon 31 - Born Under a Bad Sign 28 - Tall Tales - not my favorite with the trickster 21 - Crossroad Blues 18 - Folsom Prison Blues 8 - All Hell Breaks Loose Pt 2 Moved on: Roadkill No Exit Heart Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things Croatoan Everybody Loves a Clown Playthings Simon Said Hunted Houses of the Holy Bloodlust All Hell Breaks Loose Pt 1 The Usual Suspects
  12. The whole problem of Dean being soulless is that the writers change their mind on a whim and what it means may not stick throughout the season. Plus we have the mark to add to the mix which we haven't seen other than Cain. I'm guessing that Cain could turn the demons into the knights of hell without giving the mark, hence the reason Dean could kill Abbadon. I'm hoping that they go with a bit of humor with Dean like they did with Sam but somehow they won't be apart for long as they never have done that. I don't think the writers know what they are doing and since I write I can get that. I have major plot points in my head when I write but not the details. As I get to that plot point things sometimes really change from where I thought I was going. Hence the reason the little plot holes get discovered in the first place. The writers seem to be doing this all the time and I really believe and not sure that I disagree with them, I don't like this so lets find a way to change it. But sometimes they just forget what has happened especially since most of the writers haven't been with supernatural for 10 years. Quote from @Sue B. - Bonus question: 1) It seemed like Suzy regretted breaking her vow based on her conversations with Honor, did Dean realize that? Was this a plot point? I've forgotten who Suzy even was? I hope who ever goes to comic con asks some good questions and Carver seems a little smarter about not giving as much information as some other show runners. He wants to try to surprise us. And the fact that so many of us are asking questions shows he is doing what he wants, to get us talking about supernatural. Evil I know.
  13. Guess he won't have to worry about going hungry. Did they get confused, he is suppose to stuff his mouth when acting not directing, lol. I will enjoy seeing her back as I really like her in Faith. Could she be a witch instead? That might be an interesting witch. I would prefer to be something interesting what ever she plays.
  14. I guess I have to rewatch but I don't mind good talky eps, and this one is that. I'll have to think on it to figure out why it works so well. Gives me a reason to rewatch, LOL. The shot of the coffee cups landing straight up is the example of great luck and having the camera's set up just right. In the commentary they talk about how amazed they are about that shot and how it adds so much to that scene. I agree and wonder what are the odds they could repeat that small image which becomes so powerful and adds a wonderful supernatural feel to that moment. Also Jared talks about his acting choice which would have been a common one and not that powerful, but luckily Manners gave him the better choice. I think sometimes this is what is missing, having some strong directors that know how to direct. I love JDM with his last speech with Dean. Finally saying what he should have said so many years ago. It showed why Dean should be loyal to his Dad and that the man wasn't a monster. Of course they had to add the last secret bit, but that moment shows the conflict John is dealing with. Wanting to protect and just be with his boys and yet knowing he has to teach them so they don't feel the absolute terror he felt when he found out about the supernatural in such a horrible way. I think sometimes this is the part that people don't get about John. He was blissful about the supernatural and in an instant it destroys his family. Dean also has that experience, but Sam doesn't. He only known the supernatural through hunting as he really didn't feel the moment of his mother dying as he only experienced it through stories. This is the first time he has to really deal with his brother being gone with the added weight that Dean wouldn't be in this mess if it hadn't been for him. Then the added weight that he would only be left with his absent father and one that their personalities clash. If Dean had died, John would have left Sam alone and Season 2 dynamics would have been changed in a way that most likely the series would have ended in season 2. It's why in a way I agreed with John selling his soul. He knows what the demons are planning, things his sons don't understand especially about Sam, but he is very aware that Dean is the best chance of Saving Sam. So he shows he loves both boys in the only way he can. The real problem with abuse is that it is so complicated. Sometimes the person loves their children way over the top but lack the skills to manage the issues and turns to the demonstrations they had. Which of course, creates more abuse and damage. But it will be very hard for me to decide which ep I love more, this one or 'What Is and What Should Never Be' -- Choices, choices...sometimes I hate that. :) ETA: Trying to figure out how to make my points more clear.
  15. A moment of silence for the Usual Suspects, Dean's cocky attitude while giving his confession, the brothers ability to slip messages to each other and the way Dean won't give up even when it looks like he won't get out of this one alive. Lots to enjoy but alas we are down to all of them having so much to love. What to choose what to choose. 18. I'm kinda of hoping NOT! Not in love with those characters, so I hope they do something different.
  19. Every season has some moments of Sam and Dean loving each other, but some of the spirit of fun isn't as strong in season 7 & 8. But I've been watching some music videos, where they show the brothers getting along and showing how much they care for each other and there still are several eps you can enjoy. Which ones will be up to your flavor. I started watching really in season 4 and some of the eps of season 3 that some of the fans hated I liked. I think 6 has several good moments and seven has some good moments. The end of season 8 sets ups the brothers in a strong place but they like to tear them apart over and over again which is really the complaint most have about the show. Nine grabbed my attention more than 7 & 8 so watch with zero expectations and you might find you like a lot more than those of us that watched it live. Sometimes I enjoy the show on the rewatch more than I did the first time around.
  20. I think this is the entire series weakness, they always seem to cram too much in the final few eps instead of pacing it better. Plus for so long we have that John is the example of the best hunter out there but yet gets captured so easily. So was John really this great hunter or just lucky? I really wish they hadn't made John such a bad father, I think he was more interesting when you could see the reasons why he was twisted and did some really stupid stuff but loved his sons. Again I see so much potential and wish they had thought it out a bit more and paced it a little bit better. They needed a few more eps to make this really work.
  21. I rewatched it last night. I really like Kathleen and the fact that she shares my name doesn't hurt, lol. She smart and so ready to do the right thing but just enough heart to help out. I really like her end response about getting a ride that she is willing to be firm and say no. Both boys knows she killed the dad, but neither will call her on it, nor can they afford to do so. So you have an officer of the law breaking the law, but in someways because it's a TV show, you kind of go yes. I know we're supposed to be horrified by the idea, but I just enjoy it and don't bother over thinking the show. I think that is when this show can get really weak, when you over think it. I really like how Dean is so smart that he can get out of the cuffs just in the nick of time but a little girl warning takes him out. But to be fair it was three guys as the girl just stands there and screams. Shame he can't escape when it's only a little girl that is guarding him at the end. I like when the brothers rescue each other. Although it is a weak point that both the sheriff and Sam easily escape their cages but couldn't do it earlier. But that is one of the things I really enjoyed about the earlier eps, that they could escape on their own and didn't have so much supernatural help. I really wish they had kept the search for John a bit longer than season 1.
  22. Jensen is barely in the lead if you want to keep him there and would like to vote just a friendly reminder. He had a large lead but it is going down.
  23. But sadly, we already have they are related to Cain and Abel so this show could go there and not see it as a bad thing. They do seem to love that this is your destiny and since they saved Sam, one brother has to turn bad and now that's Dean. In a weird twist, it's what's they have done. Save Sam at all cost and Dean did by giving himself the mark. So did he actually do what Cain did without realizing that was the requirement all along? Don't know, it makes my head hurt. I know they haven't planned this, but I do understand how an idea can turn and your really struggling to go against the turn. But these writers don't seem to really plan it out that far but maybe they have done more than what we can see. They have changed so many details over the years so I guess witches can have power bases but no idea what that will turn out to be.

  25. I really like Sam's acknowledgment that his Dad wasn't as awful and they were lucky to have the life they had. It could have been so much worse. I really like the last brother moment with Dean and Sam. Dean freaking out when he finds out Sam has another skill and trying so hard to make sure his brother doesn't see it. Also Sam's total missing the point on why he would always be okay. Asking Dean "do you mean Dad, he's not even here." And Dean shaking his head and saying no but I am. That's what's different between you and Max, you have me and nothing's hurting you as long as I'm alive. It also was a nice touch of them packing up and for change having more than just a flimsy backpack to put their stuff in. Made them look real instead of this is TV world and we magically have everything we need just show up. I liked Dean in the plaid purple. I wouldn't mind seeing him in some nice solid purple shirts. :)
