  1. wings707: I totally agree about Jeff. It's not just that he said something stupid, but his horror over Dumbledore being gay was so visceral and over the top (not to mention ridiculous). And then he insisted that the other houseguest, whose name I forget, was only cool with gay people being around children because she was trying to be politically correct for television -- as if no one could possibly hold that opinion for real. It was so revealing. Every time I see him on my screen, I resent the way BB tried to sweep it under the rug (allegedly instructing houseguests in the diary room not to talk about it) so that they and CBS could pimp him as a lovable guy.
  2. Wasn't that the same one where Corabeth confides in Olivia that "Mr. Godsey is not romantically satisfactory"? It sounded like he should change his name and move in with Curt in Florida.
  3. Scott Baio on this show would be hilarious. But since he's a conservative Republican, I doubt we'll ever see that.
  4. This felt like the pilot episode of a completely different series. A good series, but different. I liked the music (I'm an old fogey who loves Petula Clark) and I enjoyed the New York scenery, but I missed having foils -- characters like Sue, Santana, Sebastian or even Becky -- who delivered put-downs and balanced out the "nice" characters. This new Glee doesn't seem to have the same snarky edge.
