  1. Todd Bridges taught the Waltons about racism too. From IMDb: Season 6, Episode 2, "The Stray"- The Waltons find a 12 year old runaway in their barn. He fits into the family and they want to keep him - but he is black. It would never work out with the way society is. Josh is adopted by Verdie.
  2. I've always noticed that when Caroline and Harriet are worried together at the camp and Harriet admits that she likes Caroline, her voice is different. It sounds normal -- probably like Katherine MacGregor's real voice -- not the comical voice we're used to hearing. It's jarring.
  3. The extra "b" is for the bees that should have stung both Brandon and Mark to death so that someone more deserving could have gotten the prestigious Dreyer Fellowship.
  4. The Kenny actor employed the same nostril-flaring technique when he was on Knots Landing, where he played Nicolette Sheridan's love interest.
  5. The disapproving librarian is played by the actress who plays Eliza Jane Wilder on Little House on the Prairie, another prim character. It's like she got lost and wandered over from the Little House podcast.
  6. Dumb Abel's real-life father, Dan Blocker, played Michael Landon's brother on Bonanza. So Dumb Abel is practically Laura and Mary's cousin, if you blend real life with TV.
  7. I remember Varner being deliberately coy about his sexual orientation in the publicity for the Australia season. Maybe he didn't want to be tarred with the Richard Hatch brush. I enjoyed the brief bonding moment with Varner, Tai, and Zeke and was hoping they'd form Survivor's first gay men's alliance, but it looks like that's not going to happen.
  8. Amen. At least he returns in Season 9, so we can look forward to more Dylan snark then, unless the podcast gives up on the awful later seasons.
