  1. The DNA test is very suspect IMO. They used hair from Traci for comparison.
  2. I actually enjoyed the stuff with Penny, but at first I thought they were going to have her dealing with depression (wanting to sleep, not wanting breakfast) which would have been more realistic in my opinion. Of course this show put the most sunny spin on it by having her acting out in defense of others.
  3. Excited to see Michael J. Fox on the show. Less so Kim Raver, but maybe she'll be alright if they have no romance plans with Kirkman. This mess with Moss hasn't happened yet has it? It's been weeks since the last show now and I forget. I remember him being involved with Charlotte Thorne and falling off the wagon. The guy is pretty messy!
  4. I see it's more common than I thought. Sad to think that is happening.
  5. I'm a Christian myself, I had just never heard of this sort of situation involving blood before. Obviously there is a lot of debate when it comes to medical treatments and religious beliefs, but this one was new to me.
  6. Well I thoroughly enjoyed that despite some stuff that didn't quite add up. I'm scratching my head at Hannah not thinking that Damien could be wearing a bullet-proof vest. I think she has looked pretty silly in this story. I guess that's a character flaw of hers.....getting too involved with people. Also, is there really a religion out there that doesn't believe in using blood transfusions? The girls singing were cute and I felt bad that no one wanted to listen to them. The First Lady didn't really add anything to the show for me and I'm glad she's gone. I agree with what the showrunner said here about her death: http://tvline.com/2017/12/13/designated-survivor-recap-season-2-episode-10-alex-dies-first-lady/
  7. Thanks for the spoiler! I can't wait to watch! Oh and I like Lyor too.
  8. Didn't watch, but saw a clip of that Ted Rollins blabbing again how there is no physical evidence. Give it up dude! There is a mountain of circumstantial evidence plus he had enough time to cover his tracks.
  9. I believe they probably just had her admit who she was quickly in the movie because of time constraints. The two hour format really makes it impossible to capture every aspect of this story accurately. For example, the hike up to the camp was very difficult and took hours. They didn't get to the camp until the sun had started to come up. I also remember from reading her book, that Mitchell made her throw away that radio playing Christmas music after a few minutes and then he preceded to listen to the one he had been given to make her feel more horrible. It would have been more realistic if they at least played it a minute or two more in the movie though. But yeah, 9 months is a long time and there were plenty of things they didn't include from the book. I thought it was a decent movie though. I think the A&E documentary covered more accurately what her captivity was like because they did switch a few things in the movie. I totally understand why she's defensive. There are still people out there questioning her which I find absurd and pretty offensive.
  10. A&E posted some bonus clips. I really wish they had included some of these in the documentary.
  11. I don't blame them. For one thing they were actually pretty overprotective parents of their children. They gave this guy an odd job working for a few hours on the roof out of kindness. They didn't let him all around the house or give him a key. This could have happened to anyone. In no way were they negligent. If they're to blame for this, then I guess you can blame anything on a parent.
  12. From what I have read, there were scent tracking dogs used. They lost her scent when they got to the road behind the Smart's residence and I believe some theorized she was taken in a car. However, with so many people coming and going that morning on the scene, that also weakened the dogs ability to pick up her scent. I felt bad for that guy at the party too. It was an alternative scene though with all types of people, so weird wasn't unusual. BDM was known to people in the city as the weird Jesus guy or whatever and they figured he had just picked up a new follower. I remember an interview they did with some women at that party and they had no idea that Elizabeth was that tall from the photos that were put out. She was a young teenager growing. That I could understand, as her pictures never captured that she was about 5'6" or 5'7". I thought the first part was very good.
  13. http://tvline.com/2017/11/09/designated-survivor-kim-raver-season-2-cast-kiefer-sutherland-24/ Audrey and Jack reunited. Kim Raver is joining for an arc. This is probably unpopular, but I never liked her on 24. I having a hard time continuing to watch this show but I might as well stick with it until the end because I don't think it will last much longer.
