That's what I'm wondering. Could she use her advanced time thingy she got from Kang to visit him? And could she take Thor there. Is he at the end of time or the beginning? Since Loki is not just the God of Mischief, he is also known as the God of stories.

Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters - General Discussion
Sakura12 replied to BetterButter's topic in Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters
I saw the first episode of this show at NYCC, I enjoyed it. I look forward to watching the rest. -
I believe they grew up without lots money, so they wouldn't have to follow the same social rules. So I think they met on their own.
-
Is Armstrong just a racist? What is her issue with Peggy. Anges didn't ask her to be BFF's with her, just be civil and she couldn't even manage that. The Oscar and Gladys thing was shot down quickly. Will George be able to stand up to his wife when Gladys finds someone. Also Bertha is in a love match and sees how it benefits her, yet she wants her kids to be miserable in a contract marriage. I wonder what other designs the Widow has on Larry. Does she need money? Or is she just lonely and horny. Marion's story is still the most dull. Will Anges approve of her marrying thier cousin.

That's why I agreed with Sylvie, Loki is selfish, he just wanted his friends back, he didn't care about their lives or families on that timeline. They are varients so they are not living the life they were supposed to. They were unfulfilled in their life, that's why they choose to leave with Loki. Now this is getting into Ke Quan Huy's Everything, Everywhere, All at once territory. Lol

This was the one I was least looking forward to, despite liking Echo in Hawkeye. But the trailer looked good and closer to the Netflix Marvel shows then Disney +. The TV-MA rating probably helps with that. Also the blink and you'll miss it Daredevil cameo.
-
The variants can be any species so a female version is not out of the picture. The ice giant child was just born a girl instead of a boy. I think it would be interesting to see Thor meet his "sister".
-
Slyvie stole He who remains temp pad after she killed him. As for how she found them, Loki may have told her where they were all were. Or she followed his aura with the her temp pad. If Mobius was in 2022 did his wife disappear in the Snap? Everyone came back in 2023. Or did that not happen in that time line.
-
So was this their variant life or their original timeline life? If it was their variant life then we all doing something they weren't supposed to do. Or is it a time loop and Loki is now the one that took them from their lives and put then in the TVA? Making Casey one of the Alcatraz escapees that were never found or seen again was great. OB being a physicist and science fiction author also made sense as with Mobius being a jet ski salesman. I guess that's why B15 was crying when Sylvie showed her, her life. She was a pediatrician that was helping people.

While I don't want Glady's to marry Oscar, there are worse options. Glady's grew up in a household where her parents actually love and respect one another. So I'm sure she is looking for that. While most of the women her age would be lucky to see their parents just in a loveless marriage and not something worse. So they don't have another frame of reference that isn't a story. Bertha's obsession with climbing the social latter is annoying, I will have to give her credit for knowing how to play the game. Her ambition can be a downfall. Her husband will also have to play the game to keep his money to keep his wife's status. Well Peggy's story was depressing. I'm also glad she's not stuck with a kid and can pursue her dream of being writer. I hope Anges does take her back.

Well that was dark episode, everyone died and the universe exploded. Is this going to create a reset and Loki is going to have recruit everyone again. Miss Minutes the creepy clock monster is the real villain. They don't need Kang.

As someone that stopped watching the Walking Dead around season 5. I got to see the finale of this show at NYCC and it made me watch the rest. I loved it, being set in France made it seem like a whole new show. The gladiator fighting pit was awesome even when watching it a second time without an audience. I love that whatever experiments that Scientist did, ended up taking out most of the walkers. But also why are we making more dangerous walkers? Since I'm not attached to Daryl's life in America I wanted him to stay in France. I like Isabelle and am kind of shipping them. Granted I haven't seen the whole in awhile but I don't remember Daryl talking as much as he did with Isabelle. He was basically telling her his whole life story while he was naked in a bath. Lol. Which I don't know if anything will happen since she's a nun and Daryl has never been the romantic type. But I like whatever they have. I don't mind the religious stuff since they seem to be open to any kind of faith. I don't think they will have Daryl find God, he'll help them because he believes in helping people who need it. I do agree the kid is annoying and the nun's raised him too soft for this world. The messiah should know how to defend himself and others. Unless they are making him a cure I don't care about him as a character. At this point I think Daryl only cares about him because Izzy does. And he doesn't want her to lose him. Especially since he knows she used to be an addict that attempted sucide. I'm interested in seeing how Carol fits into this and how she gets to France.

S01.E08: Part Eight - The Jedi, The Witch, and The Warlord
Sakura12 replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Ahsoka
As a Rebels watcher even I feel like they regressed Sabine's character. They should've show her other interests, she's an artist who was constantly painting her Mandalorian armor and ships. She also built weapons for the Empire before she joined the rebellion. One of which kills Mandalorians. Making her character only obsessed with finding Ezra kind of ruined her. She's more than that. They showed Anakin was more and let Sabine flounder. -
Mabel said she was staying with Theo. This season while it has some fun bits was kind of meh. For me I think the characters had more of a connection to the murder victims Tim Kono and Bunny, so it made it more interesting for them to solve it. Ben was just some a hole Actor that they knew of. With it being Sazz next season, hopefully they can bring the magic back.

S01.E08: Part Eight - The Jedi, The Witch, and The Warlord
Sakura12 replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Ahsoka
Hera and Kanan were like Ezra's parents and Ahsoka was the Aunt that visited every once in awhile. But I also think Ezra saw her as the older wiser Jedi. Like Yoda and Obi Wan were for Luke. I do wonder if Sabine will find out Anakin became Darth Vader. She might understand a little more about Ahsoka's reluctance in training her. She gave a look when Thrawn wondered how alike Anakin and Ahsoka are. I don't know if anyone watches this guy but he does funny recaps of most of the Star Wars content as deepfake Obi Wan, Qui Gon and Anakain reacting to them. He's an impersonator so he does all the voices. -
S01.E08: Part Eight - The Jedi, The Witch, and The Warlord
Sakura12 replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Ahsoka
Hi Hera, I'm home. But now Sabine and Ahsoka are trapped there. So like in Lost they will have to go baaaccckk. It kind of sucks they didn't utilize having Bruce Lee's goddaughter in more fight scenes. She actually made Rosario Dawson have to move a little faster. Sabine's line comes from Tar Visila, the first Jedi Mandalorian. So we can just go with she had the possibility to be force sensitive. -

It was nice of force ghost Anakin to show himself to his new grand padawan. Hopefully they can continue Baylon's story in animation. -
S01.E08: Part Eight - The Jedi, The Witch, and The Warlord
Sakura12 replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Ahsoka
So Sabine got Ezra home but now her and Ahsoka are trapped in a galaxy far far away. Although it looks like Baylon was after the Mortis gods. And I'm assuming we finally saw Morai. So Ahsoka is supposed to be there since she has the essence of the daughter. How are they going to do a movie with people in different galaxies. I'm happy Huyang didn't die. So there's that. -
Kate and Golden probably knew each other before going to university. They seem to have events for them as kids. Starlight had that church thing. Vought's PR team always has a spin for everything. Explaining their employees disappearances is another Tuesday for them. You'd think they'd give their security guards low dosages of V so they can at least attempt to fight off the supes.
-
Well this is definitely a Boys spinoff. The gender fluid power is interesting, do they have different powers? Is one defense and the other offence. Didn't expect Clancy Brown to only last one episode. Nice seeing Roz and Ambrose from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina together again. Bloodbending is a gross superpower but it fits with the universe. I wonder how far they'll take it. And if it'll be like Avatar the Last Airbender universe. Where they can control people.
-
Then we would have people asking where threepo was or R2. Since they can't use Leia they use droids that would be with her. I do agree that we should move away from the Skywalkers and focus on other people. Ahsoka is close to 50 years old now, of course she's going to be slower then when she was 17. I also think the headpiece is harder to move around in. Rosario Dawson seems to move just fine in Iron Fist and Daredevil.
-
Shin has to be re thinking her life, her master abandoned her for his own gain and Sabine's master came back from the dead to protect her. The Ezra casting is great. He is Ezra a little older and wiser but still has his charm. I'm guessing Ahsoka no longer carrying around her baggage is going to be the one thing Thrawn didn't plan for her. They probably can't use Vader against her anymore. Also Sabine seems to have opened herself more to the force since she sensed Ahsoka. She just didn't understand what that meant. Loved hearing Anakin mention Ventress. Since Ahsoka was kind of on good terms with a night sister.
-
I'm assuming most of the night troopers are reanimated corpses like the inquister was. So they are no better then they were when they were alive. I do wonder is Shin will end up joining them, she seemed conflicted. Since it seems Baylon abandoned her to go find whatever hes looking for. She'd fit in being an unconventional jedi like Ahsoka and Ezra are. It's nice to see Anakin again in another one of his training holos. He was a good master, he inadvertently trained Ahsoka to survive order 66. I'm actually okay with Thrawn not being as fit. He is the brains not the brawn. To defeat him you have to out think him not out fight him.
-
Maybe they should've hired a stunt actor to portray Thrawn and had Lars dub the voice. Kind of like what they do with Mando.
