I like that because it's giving us the different player types. You have the neutral one in Maximus, the one that just wants more power and weapons, the bad guy playthrough with the Ghoul and the do-gooder with Lucy. Lucy would love Preston and the minutemen. He's the reason I turn more into the Maximus style player. Lol

The world ended in 2077 not in the 60's. Fallout takes place in an alternate future where they went all in with nuclear tech and nothing else. It advanced in some areas but not everything. That's why it looks retro. I'm not really sure why but that's just the game.
I hope they explain how Moldaver survived. I thought she might be a synth but those are in the east coast and we saw she died as a human. I suppose she said that vault-tec bought her company so maybe she was a double agent and got her self in one of the cryo freeze vaults.

Feral ghouls are pretty easy to kill in small numbers. If it's a bunch or sentient ghouls. I usually throw a molotov or grenades at them. Headshots with an exploding weapon works too.

Ella Purnell was in Yellowjackets with Christina Ricci. They do have similar eyes. Ella seems to be making a name of herself in video game adaptations. She's the voice of Jinx in Arcane.

Lucy and Maxumus maxed out their luck skill. That's my explanation as to why they manage to survive.

The music is from the game. It's what plays on the radio. I always turn off any radios I come across. It was annoying there too. But I appreciate the showrunners staying true to the game.
Lucy I get being naive, she grew up sheltered in a vault. She's the player discovering everything for the first time. Maximus I have no idea why he is struggling. It seems like he was trained by the Brotherhood since he was a kid. He should have a higher skill set. He seemed to have put all his skill points into luck.

I think it would've been better to have a death claw over a yao guai (the radiated bear). Those are pretty easy to kill. Being surprised by deathclaw is a fuck, fuck moment.
I also just became a Knight of the Brotherhood in the Commonweath in my current playthrough in Fallout 4. Which they did mention that's where their orders to hunt down Michael Emerson came from. So that's cool.
The music is from the game. It's what's on the radio if you turn it on. I normally turn off all the radios so I get it. Playing modern music with the 1950's post apocalyptic setting doesn't fit as well. So I also get why they are sticking with the older music.

In the game uou start with a certain amount of skill points and you choose what you want to focus on. Strength, perception, endurance, charisma, intelligence, agligty and luck. Which spells out Special.
Lucy seemed to spread her stat points evenly. While the others focused on one or 2 areas and perception wasn't one of them. Maximus is definitely low on speech points and high on luck. Lol
I've watched reactions from people who never played the games and they are enjoying the show for its characters and story. This show while Canon is not following any of the games story since it takes place years after any of the games.

You don't carry anyone's head in the game. Mostly you kill people and loot all their stuff. It's a first person game so all you see is your hands and your weapon.
I guess she didn't want her bag to smell. That's where she keeps her food.

This was a pretty good season. Plenty of fun stuff for the game players while also giving us someone's playthroough
My question was how did Moldaver survive for 200 years? She wasn't a ghoul. Did she get herself in a vault? I'm also curious what the experiment is/was in vault 33. If vault 31 was all the executives wouldn't Cooper's wife be in there?
Did they actually name the dog, Dogmeat from Fallout 4.
I hope we get another season with the Ghoul and Lucy hunting down Vault-Tec.

I love that this show is back. I also love that it was Barbara that reset Ava. She may not know celebrity names or the names of anything modern but she knows what song could bring out old Ava.
I know Manny when he played Pug on She-Hulk where he played the good guy and from Arrow where he played the bad guy. So I'm 50/50 on him being legit or not.
I'm okay with Janine getting some wins this year, since she was mostly rejected, laughed at and not taken seriously in the previous seasons. Getting a pro quarterback on career day is a huge win.
I don't know why Janine thought her new second graders would be excited to see her. She probably would've had better luck going into the 3rd grade class.

That was fun. I really love Ncuti's Doctor. He goes with the flow and is willing to learn new things. Like the vocabulary of rope. I like that 15 is continuing the Doctor being more in touch with his feelings. I mean he still loses focus when he's excited like when the goblins were singing about eating a baby.
I'm glad mavity is sticking around.
I also like Ruby, I'll have to get to know her better since right now she's just a list of character traits. The actress has great chemistry with everyone though. I like her family and am glad her grandmother finally got her cup of tea.
For me I don't think Mrs Flood knew it was a Tardis until it disappeared. Isn't it only the Doctor's Tardis that is stuck as a police box. Most fit in better. As for who she is and how she knows I have no idea.

I wasn't ready to say goodbye to Tennant again. I guess I don't have too. 10 has a clone in a parallel world and now a bi-generation. The universe must really like his face. Not that I'm complaining, I like his face too.
NPH was an okay villian. I did like the Spice up Your Life dance.
I do like the new Doctor's personality. They seem to be calmer and more carefree. Did he let go of all the baggage the Doctor always carried around. Although why did he get a shirt but no pants?
I guess the Master will be around again as well.
My only complaint was it felt more like an anniversary for 10 and Donna then a 60th Doctor Who anniversary. I know we had Mel and mentions of some of the Doctor's previous Companions, but that was it.

Well that was a creepy one. It picked up once we got out Doctor Donna vs long arms Doctor Donna.
We better not get another Donna dies fake out in the next episode. Once was enough. I also think Donna knows what happened with 13 and just wanted the Doctor to say it. I guess they have to keep that canon. I didn't mind it since the Doctor doesn't know who they are.
14 seems to have kept 13's speech patterns and being more open with their feelings. I wonder if we'll get a reason why 13 changed back into 10's face.
It was great seeing Wilf again. He would wait for the Doctor and Donna to return. And of course the world is in complete chaos.

Just like the DoctorDonna it was like seeing an old friend again. The RTD era is still my favorite so I'm glad to see him back. I would liked to see what he could've done with Jodie's Doctor. I'm glad they referenced her and the psychic paper hasn't caught up the change yet. Or maybe it doesn't recognize 10/14 as the Doctor.
Did Rose choose her name because of Rose Tyler? Since they said the shed was the Tardis and the toys were the species they met.
We have 2 more specials I didn't think they'd kill Donna in the first one. Her fate is still up in the air for the last one. I hope they don't kill her though.

Yeah Kate is annoying with her not wanting answers. She survived a monster encounter and saw Monarch, you'd think she'd want more answers then anyone. If it were me I'd really want to know why my dad needed two families in different countries.
I'm thinking some at that holding facility was helping Lee. That's why it took a bit for them to respond.
Is there time travel involved because there is no way Kurt Russell is 90. If there is I'm guessing grandma Kieko is still alive. That's is probably who the dad was looking for.
Being a Hapa (half-Japanese) myself where everyone can tell I'm mixed especially other Asians. I'm always getting "you're half something", I'm wondering why they cast a full Japanese actor to play Hiro. Unless the mother is like the son and has multiple lovers.
Still haven't seen the clips they showed us yet.

I'm also curious to know who Kentaro's and Cate's dad cheated on first. Their ages could probably help them with that. Unless they are supposed to be the same age.
Also Tim you did and said all the wrong things to help your case. Now they will never trust you.
May's backstory should be interesting since she knows how to get fake passports. This show is set where only the San Francisco Godzilla attack has happened. Which is why some can believe its a hoax.
I guess they also showed us some scenes from a future episode at NYCC because they were not in the second episode.

I got more excited watching the Mean Girls Walmart commercials then this trailer.
I also did not pick up it was a musical. They probably should lean into that more otherwise it looks like they are just recreating the original.

They were not confident enough to stick with Brie Larson as the solo star of the movie.Captain America didn't get a second solo movie either. He shared his second movie with Black Widow and Bucky. Yet we are going with they didn't trust Brie. They must have really not trusted Chris Evans since his 3rd movie was basically Avengers 2.0.
Everyone is always harder and more critical of actresses over actors. They are allowed to grow old and continue to get younger love interests. But a 34 year old woman is getting up there in years and needs to start playing grandmothers. Eyeroll.
I liked this one more than the first one. I like seeing heroes learning to work together. That's why I like the guardians movies. Whenever we get a solo hero everyone always asks where is this other hero, why aren't they helping. Then we get a team up movie and people are like you don't trust to her to headline her own sequel. It's a never ending battle.
I don't care if people hate this movie just give more reasons then hating it because that's what everyone else is doing. Or wanting to Disney/Marvel to fail. Was this movie the greatest ever? No. Was it enjoyable? Yes. That's all I was looking for.
I think Brie, Iman and Teyonah did a great job with their characters. My one complaint I wish it was longer so we could see more of them.
The Singing/dancing planet was great because we got to see a different side of Carol. I loved seeing Monica's reactions to seeing Aunt Carol in a princess dress version of her outfit dancing and singing like she was in a musical.
