  1. Seems like they are bi-coastal, they were visiting his father in the Hamptons so maybe decided to stay at their New York apartment for awhile.
  2. My favorite part of the show was John coming right out and saying "vote for Joe Biden".
  3. That is the problem I had with their pieces throughout the competition - just too dark and murky-looking, and over- airbrushed. I wanted Crave Diggers to win. Their final piece was scary but fun. @Spunkygal, this is my first time watching Halloween Wars but I noticed immediately that the broken balloon animal looked totally staged! From your comment I see that this is a common occurrence on the show, lol.
  4. The only thing I can figure is that she thought it was ok because they were outside. I still wouldn't personally feel comfortable without a mask though. There seems to be a thought process that because I work with you and know you, then you must be safe. I see it at workplaces all the time, including my own. People hanging out in the back offices with masks down, only pulling them up on the salesfloor or if someone gets very close. Well, that's nice, but what about all the germs you have just been breathing into the air, in this small office? It's like people just don't get it, or don't care.
  5. I enjoyed this episode a lot. Dre wouldn't be Dre if he didn't act that way, but he comes around eventually, lol. I actually thought his hand lotion commercial was pretty good, probably because it does sound like a real commercial. But yeah, no Dre, you aren't an essential worker! 😄 Bow's speech to Junior made me tear up. We are experiencing an uptick in my neck of the woods, and people seem to be getting more lax about masks and distancing, which is stressing me out. This whole thing has shown an ugly side of humanity, a selfish and thoughtless one, and it is infuriating. If people want to socialize outside of their bubble, and risk going to gyms and restaurants and have big parties, fine, whatever - all I'm asking is that you wear your freaking mask properly while in public places, and these inconsiderate jackwads can't even manage that. On a somewhat lighter note, boy could I relate to Bow and Junior spying on the neighbors and freaking out about their behavior - been there, done that, lol!
  6. I enjoyed the clip show. It was fun seeing everyone laugh and comment on their past adventures. It's cool how they mixed it up with the talking-head pairings too - Bam and Billy, Bird and Gabe, Rain and Bear. Bird getting so emotional over Alaska was a moment.
  7. Aww John was in Danbury and I missed it! That segment was great.
  8. This was a good one. Bill was feisty, and his final New Rule was really great. As a self-described "hard-core agnostic", I always enjoy Bill's atheist rants.
  9. There wasn't a lot happening in those episodes but I remember just seeing the pain and worry on everyone's faces and hearing it in their voices. As someone who has been through the same situation, I really felt for them.
  10. This really made me so sad. But it did cause me to discover The White Rabbit Project, which for some reason I had never heard of before. I really enjoyed it and wish they had made more episodes. Grant was such a fun and engaging TV personality.
  11. Yikes! My husband was just wondering about Matt while we were watching the last episode. I meant to look him up again but forgot.
  12. My husband had to FF through most of the rat stuff. Caught the end when Gabe tried on the slipper, which was amusing. I like Bird, but yikes. We both were saying the same thing about the build, why are they not all there helping with the walls? They had four or five of them there for one section, and then only Bam and Gabe for a heavier piece. Makes no damn sense.
  13. Oh they definitely taste like pure sugar, with a dash of artificial vanilla. If my memory serves; it's been a couple of decades since I've had one. But when you're a kid, it's all about the sugar. Who remembers pixy sticks? Basically sugar in a straw, yum! 😝
  14. Ok, I really hate to keep harping on this, but I think I'm confused. You must be talking about the graphics on the show, which I didn't really pay much attention to, what with the voice and the bold red lettering. I'm referring to the link to the Peeps website, which has these: They are objectively adorable and I reject any statements to the contrary. 😁 🎃
  15. Nightmarish to look at, or you think they would be nightmarish to eat? Because how anyone could find those Halloween Peep cupcakes nightmarish to look at is beyond me. They're adorable. As for eating, just take the Peep off and eat the cupcake, lol.
  16. The Halloween ones? I think they are cool! Peeps are way too sweet for me now, but I loved them when I was a kid.
  17. I noticed at the beginning of tonight's show that it is indeed rated TV-MA, oops. I'm sure I've seen that before but in light of the recent controversy, it stood out.
  18. Hmm, 15-16 doesn't seem too young to me. PG-14 movies have a lot of sex and strong language.
  19. I wasn't a Kameron fan before this show but I am now, so I guess that's one positive thing lol. I also love Vanjie even more. Too bad things didn't work out with them, but I'm glad there were no hard feelings. Derrick is quite the troublemaker but for some reason I don't dislike him. I understand Asia's frustration but girl was definitely a negative presence in the dressing room. This was worth it just to see Vanjie and gain a new appreciation for Kameron.
  20. Agreed. Bill basically said if you're not getting baked, what's the point? Whereas Jim emphasized the therapeutic benefits of even small amounts used in different ways. I was touched by his story about the man who found relief from his mental and physical pain from one of Jim's specific strains.
  21. I agree about the hair. I would love to stop coloring mine simply because I'm lazy and it's a pain, but I just look old and haggard with gray, lol! I don't think they have to do anything casting or plotwise to keep the "Mom" theme. The show's been on long enough that a lack of actual children in the cast doesn't really matter. Bonnie and Marjorie are still moms.
  22. It was mentioned on the show during the panel, and it was the first thing out of Jane's mouth when Bill introduced her.
  23. Ok that was cute and Nev looks very handsome. Come at me.
