Daphne is supposed to be the season's stand out. Must be more than beauty.... she's certainly no Michelle Pfeiffer. -:) At least she has a bunch of handsome brothers.... even tho they look so much alike they should wear name tags.

Calpurnia... I meant to say.... "I can understahned her motivation." PS Another thing I noticed....Mary Sue didn't look any older six years later than she did at first. (And that 2000 era blonde hair never showed a dark root.) George did look more mature by Seasons 6. (Altho at 54 even Brett Climo can't remain youthful forever.)

If the actress had a nose job she would be just another pretty blond. I can understand her motivation. However, Sarah became a bit too much. Recently I read an article describing a "Mary Sue". Mary Sue is a character who is perfect ...she can do anything.. is pretty and feminine. Sarah is definitely a Mary Sue. The first two seasons of APTCH were so good. Season 6 was almost a total disappointment. (And don't get me started on the lesbian bit. I was alive during the '50s and such relationships weren't even hinted at in public. The worst thing was that obvious homosexuals were called "fruits" by "polite" people.) But I liked all the actors. Hope they were well compensated.

I was alive back in the late 50's -:) early 60's. One of my friends who smoked and drank throughout her first pregnancy delivered a son who weighed almost 10 lbs. And, yes, she did inhale.

And asthmatic to boot -:) You can tell none of the actors are real smokers. I never saw anyone inhale. And the way they held the nasty little things was strange. As someone who once smoked two packs of Marlboros a day I can tell the authentic. (Now, someone will probably tell me that off camera "George" is a chain smoker.)

Thank god it's over. But did we ever see Sir Richard get his comeuppance?

Well,I hope Bevan Lee doesn't read Facebook comments. Especially those about Episode 8. I like all the actors. Hope all this negativity doesn't affect their residuals in the future. I don't think I have the stomach to watch the last two episodes.

Well.... I just watched episode 6. It's all too much. I"ll be glad when they end it all and put me out of my misery. And I find this Delia person really unattractive and annoying. As if there wasn't enough on everyone's plate without her arrival.

Badger.... now you have me intrigued. We won't get the episode here til Monday....so I will have to remain in suspense -:)

Well..when Matt first appeared I thought... oh oh... something wrong here. But then I was lured into complacency. I think he was set up to be a villain. Probably his first wife or companion whatever... left because of his controlling ways. That would explain lack of access to his son. Now.... ...why being a misogynistic PITA would estrange him from his father is another question

Just saw that episode. The pink dress is a bit much. Since her behind is almost as big as her bump it presents an interesting silhouette. But Olivia! Where are these happy endings Bevan Lee was promising?

Her aunt sent her to France to visit her fahter's grave. Also, I think to get her away from her mother who wanted her to become a nun. She was 19 at the time so I suppose she 'd had her nurses training.
