  1. After reading everyone’s thoughts on Owen Teddy Tom and Amelia. I’m starting to think Tom is suppose to be the new Mark. I didn’t see the similarities till now. I’ve not been a fan of Owens of quite a few seasons now and these types of moments remind me why. Him and Amelia were never a good match, from the beginning with their histories and personalities. I honestly thought Amelia had finally seen the light per say but now Leo is back they will probably go back right where it all left off. Which sucks as Amelia deserves more and anyone would. For a milestone episode, it was typically a Greys version. They did a similar thing at the 200 episode. Will say the 100 was great and 300 was too bad. It’s kinda showy but doesn’t really go anywhere. I wished it did. For me I liked Alex and his mum even with some of obvious the flaws written in, Catherine for once didn’t annoy me which was a highlight. But I will say Owen getting punched was a stand out moment that I really did enjoy. He’s always been judgemental and the men on this show are getting worse at it and inconsistent. But that’s another whole topic. Tom maybe a lot of things but none of those men, Owen included, know him. Hell we don’t even know him. But at the moment all we see is Teddy seems genuinely happy. I don’t even think she was ever shown this happy when she was with Henry. If Owen really had Teddy’s and his daughters best interests at heart, as everyone has said, he would have taken her aside and actually ask Tom to leave so he could. Teddy might even have known and explained, she knows about his son and he’s most likely different to the man everyone sees. Instead this stemmed from everything that’s happening around him and possibly thinking I can control something here as I can’t with Leo and Amelia so I’ll do so with Teddy and my unborn child.
  2. When did Ben want to be a nurse!l? He was always a doctor he was the man who puts you asleep in a op ( sorry can’t spell it but I know what it is) but then he wanted to be surgon instead and now a firefighter. I don’t disagree he is a flake and gets bored easier as he got older but I don’t remember a nurse. Bailey dated Eli the nurse just befriend Ben.
  3. I’m not sure if this is unpopular but the whole idea of Saint Jack is really getting to me. Sometimes I don’t know if some ‘flashbacks’ are observing or some a persons point of view. I understand he died and you do immortalise the good things about people. But come on no one ever has other take, dad was horrible when this happen, Jack was a twat when that etc. Everyone has those moments.
  4. I really liked the ending. I know they would prob not be able to get the actors back but am really glad they didn’t and used old moments of them. As that’s how you remember people and What they looked to us when they died or before.
  5. About Rebecca, I agree with others that it she was given the singing career as Mandy was playing her. But I wished they had kept it as a hobby. She never wanted to ge her mother and I know things change and happen that might cause that to happen. But in her teens and 20s she didn’t really have aim or drive for it. It seemed she did it so she didn’t have to do the norm. (Reminds me a bit of Kate there) so a building a career would have been perfect I would have loved it had she had a career before the kids and maybe gone back to it when they were teens. That would have been interesting to play out.
  6. I didn’t feel it was too harsh maybe the way it was offered did seem impersonal as these two are suppose to be in somr sort of relationship. But Carina has a huge point, here example wasn’t the best though. I don’t know if it’s codderling but it’s different indulgent and doesn’t develop resilient. As someone who works in a school where children will poor attendance. This will not get better if Arizona keeps her off. I understand she’s having a hard time adjusting but in any school you can’t make friends if your not there. People won’t play with her as they don’t know her and it’s not just socially. This will affect her emotionally, in her learning and later in life. You can’t not go to work because your finding it hard. Unfortunately, your hard time won’t matter you have you try to move forward from them.
  7. Amelia was addict to narcotics but alcohol has sent her into a sprial before. It like that little lie. You start small and it gets bigger which was why she was not drinking previously as it could trigger her back to oxy. God knows now they have removed her tumor they might say it was all because of that and she’s fine to do whatever. I didn’t however notice the bottle. You never know they might have simply forgot.
  8. It’s akways the little things that get you. Never the big things. Those small things and moments that usually fleet by beacuse of their simplicity. Leaving shoes, some dinners and food, a film or just belongings.
  9. From the scene it didn’t seem like they thought they would be leaving that early. Although they were ready to go except for maybe Kevin’s tie. I cant imagine loosing a partner and especially given the circumstances of it. Rebecca was pretty much out of it until her talk with Dr K. She seemed like she hadn’t a clue what was happening and the montage at the funeral service helped build that picture. It started and was over just as quickly. It kinda just lasts you without realising. She was working with that reptilian brain. Just functioning but not a help to anyone not even her children at this point. So I guess she was kinda oblivious at that point about her surroundings.
  10. That’s just crazy! And seem pretty pointless. I mean if there’s loads of houses who knows who is beeping? Plus outside people housing. Noise pollution. Just get out the car and walk or even just pick up the thing that is attached to your hand and call/text. I actually just thought it was film/tv thing. I don’t think I’ve known or seen anyone do it in the UK.
  11. Do people actually do that? I mean personally, I’ve never seen or done it. I mean I’ve I’m waiting or picking up someone, I either knock, call or text. I know this was set before everyone had a phone but still. I always took it as something done in American shows and films.
  12. That was the part that really got to me. First when they started the conversation in the kitchen when Rebecca didn’t shut down Kate’s doubt because of her own grief and her ability not to comprehend what is happening. She wasn’t in the right head space to explain to her child it wasn’t her fault which in no way was it as it could have happened regardless if he hadn’t gone back in. Yet the scene by the tree where she categorically shut it down, I was like yes Rebecca but we know that Kate never fully accepted that fact. Jack was a grown man who decided to go back into the house. No one forced him back in he choose to.
  13. From the ending, even though we know bea use of Kevin’s injury. Jack’s death is soon. It took a while after the episode to click this. When Rebecca first mentioned if they had forgot something at the mall. I thought of Randell. Don’t ask we why. Then it panned to the smoke alarm and the missing battery. They forgot the battery she had earlier asked to be reminded off. So when eventually the fire happens the smoke alarms weren’t working which could be why he didn’t get out as he didn’t have the warning. Does that mean we’re going to have scenes after his death of her blaming herself for this moment? Or others hinting towards it? you can’t blame the one who’s gone. Knowing it was the smallest preventable thing?
  14. They may have been more spectible to addiction through family history but it wasn’t as if Kevin didn’t know. He knew when he started taking him as he didn’t want to when he started. I don’t get why Kevin was that annoyed the family started off without him. I mean he was at football camp something he would have enjoyed without them. No one else , that we know of went to camp that year. As a child what would you prefer staying in a camp at something you enjoy or being stuck with your family in the middle of the woods. I mean there wasn’t a huge amount going on there. With the therpist, she seem to pick sides rather stating neural and posing the questions. She came across brash and accusing. Kevin felt left out and believes Rebecca loved Randell more than him. Rebecca says she didn’t and loved all of them. That’s where they needed help ie the therapist should have asked why he felt like that, given an example so they could discuss it and Rebecca could explain her reasons why and begun a dialogue or conversation rather building into the resentment and now adding extra by Rebecca truthful but emotional outburst.
  15. I think the pool episode was better at showing how Kevin felt left out than this one. You saw Jacks focus on Kate but Rebecca wasn’t focusing her attention on Randell but it came across to Kevin as she was. She mentioned his glasses as she knows he might tease him and gentle asks him not to. She reads alongside Randell not with him as neither wanted to play football at that moment. She asks him if he took his glasses as she knows her sons. She knows he might have taken it and asks him. I don’t see what’s wrong in that. But I see Kevin’s pov.
