I'm a little confused as to why Savanah did not fly back for the wedding? I know she's with Maddie but it still seems like she could have flown to Arizona for the weekend. Janelle likely has enough money to pay for a plane ticket. And with regards to Maddie, I understand not traveling across the country with three little kids. And I get that Caleb might have to work but the wedding was planned well in advance. Seems like she could have arranged a quick trip just by herself - like she did for the Plexus convention.

I think we are all forgetting that Tony and Mykelti outright said that Kody's favorite son in law "used to be Caleb, but now its Tony." They are still very much in his corner. Interesting that some people on reddit saw a mic pack on Leon but I have not seen any others. Gwen had previously said this was not filmed, so people are speculating that Leon officiated. It needs to be loosened and hiked up a few inches. And a even tan would have been better.

It was taken on Gwen's wedding day. Bad caption. Though Gwen reposted it so maybe there was some inside understanding there. And as much as we don't appreciate these two - the transphobic comments on Meri's instagram page under the photo are absolutely atrocious. So I guess I can see this post as a defense really - and not an actual comment about Gwen's wedding as "less than the best part of the day"

Yes, we know about the police report. But it does not answer any of the larger questions. She has attempted to fill in gaps with her theories but none of those are supported by any reputable source. All we know is that Tom died at home. Lawrence was there. Somehow the police contacted JB and Ben is presiding.

If Tom died at his home, then why did Lawrence ask the police to go tell JB? That is the central question. Because if sources are correct, Tom was estranged from JB (and Mary and Deanna). So why did Lawrence a) want them notified by the police and b) allow them to plan this funeral? There is zero benefit for JB. Why would he swoop in to take over this guys funeral. JB is a cheap a$$. There is no way he would try to go in and assume this debt. And he's not using it as an opportunity to spread his homophobic rhetoric - how many people are attending this thing? LOL. Ten? Consider our sources... Deanna and Amy who are not only estranged from Tom - but also never talk to the Duggars either. They know nothing and yet act like experts. IIRC Amy's was public until recently. She posted something about being a mama bear and people called her out on having a public account for her kid. She made it private and cut out a few thousand of her closest friends /s. I think she was well over 10,000 for him before. This woman truly believes she's being used by god to show us commoners the way. I have listened to a few lives just to try to analyze her psyche. I 100% believe that she believes her own crap. Yes this!!!! I cannot fault the idea of "protection/privacy," but I can definitely fault the execution of this plan. A few random back shots once in a blue moon - fine. But Jill is ramping up her back shots as she tries to sell her book. Jinger doing the same. It's blatant and obvious exploitation under the guise of being "protective."

I don't know the timeline of things and if someone develops insomnia - maybe they can do down the rabbit hole and research it. But that guy Ronnie Floyd may or may not have been the pastor when Derick was doing his year of study there? Floyd was accused for stalling widespread abuse investigations. There was a bunch of back and forth and he denied the charges. I don't recall any details except he had to give up his high ranking post in the SBC (which btw has its own problems - different from the IBLP - but wow - its a rabbit hole too). Just wondering if they left maybe due to some of that. And their new church seems to be run by a guy who initially wanted to be a teacher... Fast forward they now homeschool all their kids. So maybe their influence is one reason Jill - allegedly - is homeschooling again?

Jeremy is still the protege for John MacArthur isn't he? And essentially everything that Jinger said regarding her new beliefs was from John MacArthur's teachings. So I don't think the book was self serving - like Jill's is for Derick - but I definitely believe that Jinger's book was directed by Jeremy and MacArthur. And they surely did know that Jinger's alone would be more effective because she was supposed to be "free" after all. Still - the book functions as a call to MacArthurism (Vuoloism).

I think Jinger's book was influenced by her husband. A vehicle to sell his church and display her conversion to his beliefs. They spared her family the direct hit and merely pushed back on the IBLP. Jeremy gets his wish with minimal collateral damage. I think Jill's book will be influenced by her husband. Promised revenge on JB for playing dirty and a vehicle to redeem Derick in the public eye (he was bottom of the barrel in 2017 but people seem to be forgetting - the book will seal the deal). I think Jill will attempt to moderate the damage to her family and speak generally about forgiveness, boundaries and hope. But this will be more Derick's direct shot. Derick will get his wish, with moderate collateral damage. Edited to Add: I struggle with the idea that both of them are still heavily influenced by the men in their lives. I have to work that out. In one way it is positive. In another way, it is not at all.

I think we're forgetting that Derick and Jill still have a "mission heart" and an evangelical calling. They want to reach as many people as they can to spread the word (and their literal interpretation). They view it as their mission as Christians to be public. I don't see Jill retreating from that. I think she'd have Kirk on in a hot second - as long as he endorsed her book. Cause Tit for Tat of course.

Given that the producer is following all the new TCC and only a few vets... I'm thinking it will be TCC/rookie focused. I wonder if they will follow them all the way through their first year (meaning we might not see this on the air for at least two more years (or more likely three+) lol).

My bad. The zoom here is likely in poor taste. But as I was looking at Christine's boob tattoo, I noticed Janelle's undergarments showing through the sheer. I don't recall seeing that when she wore the dress previously. I'm all for people celebrating their bodies, but I'll say it again (as I did in Christine's thread), these three are a hot mess style wise. How do they have millions of followers?

I think they all look fairly raggedy. Maddie is all wrinkled. Christine's dress is ill fitting. Janelle's re-wearing her dress which is fine but those hoops don't go.
