Happy 9th birthday to Israel. I think he did an awesome job on his cake. Can't believe he's 9 already.

As disturbing as it is to see, Janessa was in a crib, I'm also questioning the changing table? Is that girl potty trained or did she just get potty trained and that's why they got rid of it? I don't see a reason to need to keep that in her room this whole time, just to get rid of it now.

Sadly, I think Edleweiss is still better(not by much)than Spurgeon.

I am grateful for the MANY laughs you all have given me throughout the years. I'm also thankful for the MANY insightful posts and advice that has been given. I've been around since TWOP and part of 2 other forums, but don't remember one of the names(Red Hot Topic was the other). Back then, it was for my American Idol watching(haven't watched it since Daughtry was on). I had different user namers with those groups. I watch quite a few shows, but I only follow 5 of them on here and 2 are done after this season. I have only watched one Duggar special(The 14 and counting one), but went down the rabbit hole on TWOP. When that got nuts, I followed people to here. I read this thread the most. I really have no interest going anywhere else. I've gone on Reddit a few times and that's just a mess to me. If I knew how, I would set up my own site. Only rule would be the no politics one. You could speak your mind any way you wanted. If many of you leave, I probably won't check here very often anymore. I don't know why things had to change and so dramatically at that.

I agree with all that have said that the Mods should come into ST and explain things. None of this makes sense. As many have also said, this has NEVER been a a fan forum. We all voted on the topic titles and the previous mods agreed to them. I didn't see anything wrong in the threads I read in Counting On. I don't really read the Michelle and JimBob one, so not sure what was going on in there. I think we all have reasonable discussions and you all make me laugh daily. I don't know where to go if this site becomes a fan thread and I will miss all our discussions and the laughs..

Those dresses are hidious to say the least. I wonder if the girls looked in the mirror wishing they didn't have to wear them, or if they truly are delusional in thinking the dresses are pretty. I think Tessie did a good job with the braid. To think maybe she could have a career in hair, but she can't because she is only allowed to birth babies.

SAME! The last two kids I watched were reading chapter books at 8 years old.

Joy was so happy about her hair cut. She kept saying how much she loved it. I don’t know if I was happy or sad for her with that. I know a lot of women can be nervous about cutting long hair(I was), but Joy is nervous because of her cult and her husband. I think she did a good job just from watching a video. It’s cute and so much healthier. She did say she has been wanting to cut it for a while and that it has been a year since she cut it last. I think how nice Jill and Jessa would look with the same cut.

Hold up. Do you mean to tell me that all these years that Mr. Madtown and I have been married, we should have had a chair in our bathroom for praying? So when hubby is on the toilet, I should be praying that everything comes out ok? Got it Jill. I'm off to put the chair in there! Funny thing is, there is a place to put one up against the wall, directly facing the toilet. 🤣

I instantly thought of Timothy's rant when I saw MIL to be in her jeans(which she looked great and good for her!). I truly hope he is learning more and more each day, what an evil woman his mother is. I've been thinking about the lack of Jill interfering with their engagement and wedding plans. Would this maybe be "normal" in their land, when it's the son getting married? I wondered if they only get involved(and overbearing in Jill's case)when it is the daughter getting married. I'm hoping it is more that Tim and Heidi(and her family)don't want Jill anywhere near them or their wedding plans. I also hope it is like this when they have their first child.

Until he realizes what a clusterfuck of a family he was born into. Maybe he and Spurgeon will run away together someday.

That blanket might be creepy, but I'm happy he's with Heidi's family. Plus Tim and Heidi aren't all ackward because you know, touching and all.
