Ashlee has been posting some great dancing videos on Insta, I am really hoping she gets point or triangle next year. Armani looked amazing dancing in the One Two Step dance video from one of Jenn A’s classes, I was really impressed (it is on her Instagram). A couple of the girls posted videos of the same dance, I thought Armani was the best but also thought Marissa and Kleine were really good. VK posted the same dance and she does okay but doesn’t have the control and sex appeal of the other girls I mentioned - she was out danced.

Victoria does not seem to have real friends on the team. You never see her included in the photos of the girls just hanging out, this was also the case even when she was on the team. They comment on her social media with nice comments but if she was actually their friend, she would be invited along when they hung out. I think she really was not liked in the locker room and they will fake it on social media but want no part of her in an actual friend group. And seriously, most of these girls hang out ALL the time.

Forgot to say the Kelsey looked beautiful last night! Her solo looked great too, I hope she posts the whole thing on Insta - actually I hope they all post them on Insta with the real music. So far I have seen Kristen, Claire and Amber post theirs. I guess it makes sense to have a separate DCC Insta but I had to ask myself if I really want to follow another Instagram page for all the girls 😂

I loved that they are featuring Caroline more this year, she is an amazing dancer. I really hope she gets point some day! The video on dccxmeme’s Insta showing Kristen with Baby Shark music is hilarious (and I always wonder if someone who posts or reads here does that account - they seem to know all the inside stuff posted about on here). I thought Kristen’s routine was fine to the real song (not amazing, not bad) but the edit was ridiculous and I can see why she was so offended since she had such a strong message about why she did it and they reduced her to doing weird motions to bad music on the show. Kudos to her for speaking out, she is a strong courageous woman. Let’s see - loved Ashley last night too! She is fun to watch on the hip hop dances (I like her style better than Maddie). Chandi did look sexy, I think she is doing great. I thought VK does dance well and looks great but if she was made point some day over Amanda, I just would not get it. Amanda is amazing, one of my favorites in years. She seems so mature and professional and would be a great spokesperson on top of an amazing dancer. She has that “It” factor! I am very impressed with almost all the rookies. They really are amazing. I wasn’t sure what to think about Marissa at first based on the Tik Tok stuff but I have enjoyed watching her dance and liked her interviews as well. I wish we got to know the girls better, I feel like I know all of them less than normal. Jada’s kicks were amazing last night, they always want perfect kicks from a tall person and she certainly fits that plus has a very unique and pretty look. The two rookies I don’t really get - Sydney and Alora Rose. I feel like we haven’t seen enough to justify them making the team over Hannah and Brennan. Meredith should never made the team based on what they have shown so I think her cut was more than justified. She does seem like a sweet person though, I felt bad for her. She is very pretty even without makeup.

I felt like Marissa’s story was fine, she was just telling her background but then a producer says “that sounds good but can you tell us a story about if someone you know died? Or was really sick? THAT is what we really need here!” Then they tack on the out of place “my friend died years ago and we are going to try to make it seem like this really has something to do with my story” piece. The way they keep adding those sob stories is ridiculous and always seems out of place, to the point where producers have to be asking the TCCs to tell them.

I am still shocked that a former DCC won the Amazing Race, I had no idea she was a DCC when I watched her Amazing Race season. Her real name is not Starr, her name is Emily according to the Amazing Race Wikipedia - so she *chooses* to be called Starr Spangler 😂 I liked her on her Amazing Race season but her relationship with her brother felt a little weird sometimes.

Okay, I know this because I am a big Melissa W. fan - I think she is an amazing dancer and as someone with two engineering degrees, I know just how hard she much have been working while doing school and DCC. When they introduce her in her first season, she says she just finished her junior year at SMU so she spent her senior year there while also being a DCC, which had to take real dedication. She mentions finishing up in December, so I think she went an extra semester which makes sense since she also had a dance minor and probably took a slightly lighter course load while being a DCC. Taylor P looks absolutely amazing right now, she is toned as heck and is always working out on her IG stories. I doubt someone with that level of dedication would be out of shape as a DCC which makes me think this is just a bad picture at a weird angle.

After binge watching Seasons 3-14 (which I own on Amazon), some nice person on here let me know Seasons 1-13 are on CBS All Access so I decided to go back and watch seasons 1 & 2. Wow is it weird going from Season 14 to Season 1, everything is so different and less polished on season 1. The girls are more natural and not quite as tiny (I think the big screen made them not take anyone who is bigger once they moved stadiums). The reason I am posting: How did I forget that Melissa Rycroft had a tramp stamp that said True Love???!!!! I had to rewatch the segment three times to make sure it was her and sure enough, it is.

Amanda looked amazing in these videos, that group overall looked much better than the other group where they were focusing on Savanah and maybe two rookies? Big difference, the group around and including Savanah were off on their timing and didn’t seem to know the dance very well. I am impressed with the updates they made to still be able to cheer. It can’t be easy to wear a mask and dance an entire game. I think the Thunderstruck on the deck version is fine, I think it showed creativity to come up with a solution to not being on the field. I like that they still play video of the field version on the big screen too.

Yes, I like Chandi and Kelsey too! Chandi is so beautiful and fun to watch. Kelsey just seems like a great dancer, plus I have a soft spot for the blue eyed brunettes being one myself. For Kat, I feel like she could be a little more mature but she seems like she could be fun to hang out with. I hope her dancing got better. Lisa - I find her slightly off putting, I am not sure if it’s the negative things people have wrote on here or that she always seems so serious. Her body is a little square for the uniform too, I prefer the hourglass figure like Kashara. VK - I have conflicting feelings about her. On one hand, she looks amazing and has kept her figure which can’t be easy. Some times I look at her and think she is gorgeous, other times she looks too made up and I notice her flaws more. But I give her props for all the progress she has made. However, she is still immature. I think if she would have danced in college for 4 years then tried out she would have been so much better. But I definitely see what you mean about her power throwing her off. One thing you cannot say about VK, she is not boring and you don’t forget her like some of the others. I still remember all the rumors and things she alleged did during her two training camps but hopefully she is mature enough now to be a good teammate. She does seem to have more support online from the team but I am not sure how much I saw her hanging with the other girls before COVID.

I am watching Season 14 right now and had two random thoughts: I love Amanda, both as a dancer and just as a unique look. She is amazing but I wonder if she could ever be point since she has the bad luck of starting with VK. When you see them dancing side by side during the season, she is clearly the better dancer. I hope she stays for a few years, she is a rock star. Taylor P. - I forgot about those cute letters from her grandpa! I follow her on Instagram and think she looks absolutely amazing. I remember someone thought she had a weight problem at some point last year but there is no way. She has a ripped six pack and clearly takes exercise and nutrition seriously. I wish she had stayed on the team but I think she is serious with her boyfriend and wanted to go home (can’t blame her!). Side note: how the heck did Meredith make this team even for a year? The only other person who annoyed me that much was Morgan. Meredith sounds like a stoner in every interview and just never seemed to dance with everyone else.

I enjoy following Miranda on Instagram, she is so naturally pretty. She posts pics with little to no makeup often and just looks great. She and her husband are really cute together too.

I am watching the first episode now. I am slightly offended that she said the DCC were just dancers and what they do is harder. They are two different styles and both are hard. I think Cassie could probably settle this comparison 😂 One thing - I swear the one guy they are interviewing is the male cheer coach from the DCC Making the Team episode where they did the half time show with the male cheerleaders and the girls were in those pink polka dot outfits (the one where they did stunts with Cassie, Jackie Bob and some others). Did anyone else notice him?

Look behind her and to her side, she is matching them, so I would guess she is in step with her group.
