  1. I actually saw this as a good move from Charlie. The undercurrent was "look, Q is losing his mind at this tribal council, and you can't trust him. What about a common sense alliance of you, me, Maria, and Kenzie?"
  2. Venus was 100 percent right about voting Charlie off, by the way. If Tim and Ben hem and haw about giving a Siga name before begrudgingly saying Moriah, then the absolute right play is to target Charlie or Maria since they're the ones Siga REALLY doesn't want to lose. Maria would've been safe due to the "Journey Six" alliance, but Charlie would've been the much more logical boot. Q and Tevan seemed upset at the idea that Venus would try to vote a man out to keep the women's numbers, but a women's alliance isn't likely to work since Venus/Soda/Liz all hate each other.
  3. Agreed. If he'd lasted more than an episode, Jelinsky would've really gotten on my nerves. But as the first one out, he is immediately up there in the Trainwreck First Boot hall of fame.
  4. Remember Austin's confession about how he wished he and Dee could be the next Rob & Amber? Well, that might be a bit truer than Austin realized, complete with the guy losing a jury vote. Did i miss something, or didn't Drew have a "safety without power" advantage? Did it have an expiration date, or did he play it and I forgot about it?
  5. I was really hoping for a 3-2-1 vote to eliminate Drew, since all of Original Belo (Kellie, Kendra, Bruce) should've been able to realize that Drew is a bigger part of that Reba alliance than Sifu was. And, because I can't stand Drew.
  6. Beyond casting, the show itself has to take some blame in this. They go out of their way to make it harder (fewer clothes, limited flint, limited rice) on the players because CBS is too cheap to pay for a 36-day season anymore. Then they arrange the original Lulu to be very obviously the weakest of the three tribes, to the point that an 0-3 streak seemed almost likely. So by just nine days in, no wonder it has to at least a couple of people being broken already.
  7. Bowen placing the last sketch in Seattle made me think it was going to be a rare case of an SNL running gag, where suddenly the guy with the long nails would be attacked by a giant dog (i.e. the puppy "destroying Seattle" from the previous sketch) I enjoy how 70% of Weekend Update is now everyone dunking on Colin Jost
  8. In theory this should've been the easiest season to figure out a traitor due to the presence of celebrity contestants. If it's me as part of a 20-person cast, my assumption would've been four traitors --- two "celebs" and two new people. Plus I absolutely would've suspected that at least one of the Big Brother and Survivor people would be traitor, so Cirie and Cody would've been on my radar from the first minute. Of course, sharing these theories with fellow players or at the round table would've also gotten me murdered very quickly. 😁
  9. I rolled my eye at Brandon's "you're never really screwed in the game, you can always do something to work your way out" comment. Tell that to the many players put into no-win situations over the years.
  10. I would love a list of all the advantages and idols still in the game going into the merge. I forget the wording of Jamie and Carson's idols, but they're either already invalid or only valid through next week's episode.
  11. It's hard to parody something that's already comedic. Coolidge's whole schtick is tongue-in-cheek.
  12. It's happened pretty often. * Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger when they were married * Peter Cook and Dudley Moore in the 70's * Joe Montana and Walter Payton * Hulk Hogan and Mr. T * Rhea Perlman and Danny DeVito * the Olsen Twins * Roseanne and Tom Arnold and....Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Chevy Chase hosted as a trio when Three Amigos came out!
  13. That's right. Revote, with only Cassidy, Jesse, and Gabler eligible to get votes. Is F6 the last time the hidden immunity idols can be used? Because with three active idols and the regular immunity idol, there's a good chance only two people will be eligible for votes next week.
  14. Glenda and Lumumba were my favourite team in a long time, sorry to see them eliminated.
  15. It might've been all three of your reasons, plus the fourth of Gabler continually talking in order to take his mind off the physical strain.
  16. They should've introduced that graphic 10 seasons ago, when the advantages and idols really got silly
  17. Did anyone else think the younger versions were going to be played by the five main actors? Maybe this was the original plan before Nicola Coughlan's schedule got in the way?
  18. The only sound issue for me was during the flat butt workout sketch, but that sketch was a technical trainwreck....I don't think I've ever seen so many blown camera shots in any sketch, in decades of watching this show.
  19. That's the other downside of the blue tribe getting so little airtime. Geo's only content was talking about his background and his struggles about being accepted.....but this week, he's suddenly been "controlling and condescending" this whole time.
  20. This isn't allowed in the rules. Each teammate has to do an even number of roadblocks, or at least mostly even (I think they can be 7-5 or something).
  21. I'm not sure if it's tricky editing, or that these challenges are challenging enough that they're leading to a lot of extremely varied finish times. The cheese wheel task has seemed like the only one that has been pretty straight forward over the last two episodes.
  22. Did it feel to anyone else like this was going to be a "keep racing" double leg? The landings on the met seemed strangely rushed, and Phil even announced the winners as just the first team to arrive, not Team Number #1.
  23. With seven departures since last year, the SNL cast is down to a measly......um, 14 people. And it's basically 17 if you count the "Please Don't Destroy" trio. It's probably safe to guess that at least a couple of new cast members will be added. But, SNL is already so loaded that I'd prefer to see the show make better use of the actors already on board.
