Listening to Darcey and Stacey talk, why do I have this terrible feeling that Stacey and Florian (is that his name?) will be on an upcoming 90 Days? I just know we haven't seen the last of those two.

Lisa looked like an idiot in that poofy white dress. It was a horrible style on her. She couldn't even do anything decent with her hair for the day.

David gives me the major willies. Major. Every time he goes in to hug Lana it makes me shiver. Those moans are disgusting and creepy. He has no clue that this woman wants nothing to do with him. Why in the world did she say yes?

Meh.  Why not?  lol...What does she care?  She knows that's the last time she'll see him. Why cause a scene?  😄

Lana is right to throw cold water on David’s over heated motor.

He thinks meeting Lana is the final piece of the puzzle to securing their engagement.
Lana thinks that the relationship and courtship is just beginning...
Her body seizes up in revulsion every time he mauls and paws at her...

No way does Lana think any relationship is just beginning.  The only thing she's thinking is "how am I going to get through the next couple days without letting this loser touch me too much so I can get the paycheck TLC has for me."  There is no relationship to begin, lol.

Either because he's so self-involved that he's never really tried to get to know her on any real level (we've never even heard David ask who won the hockey tournament) or because deep down he knows he's been talking to a computer and he doesn't dare ask any follow up questions so that he can keep holding on to his delusions.

Both probably, but I think the second point is a huge factor.  He's learned over the years to keep the conversation as facile and meaningless as possible so as to limit the chances of any immersion-breaking responses.  He's obviously not interested in reality.  It's all a fantasy contained in the chuckle-head's mind.  If he was actually open to receiving real  input from outside the fantasy realm that exists in his own head he'd recognize the obvious fact that the woman he's bowling with is completely not into him.

  4. So embarrassing watching David try to manufacture some sort of real relationship with this (probably married) model who's been paid to appear and pretend she's been communicating with him for the past 7 years!  She probably never even got paid for the use of her pics on the dating site.  I hope she got a decent paycheck for this because she's earning it...he's disgusting.  I'd be willing to bet the person he chatted with after the date wasn't the same person he was wowing with his bowling moves.  lol...

I sure skip over large parts of this show every week.

She also went to the Thrift Shop with her daughter and for a walk in the park with her daughter and son. There might have also been a scene in a coffee shop, too, I can't remember for sure. All in all, hardly compelling television.

She also went into a shop and ordered a "green juice" or something that one time.  But I agree the entire Yolanda thing is baffling.  She's still in exactly the same situation she was when the season started!  No progress in that story!  And nothing much even happened, lol

I just watched the Pillow Talk for this episode and they were all saying "well I was wrong about David!  Way to go David you found your love!"  The fuck??  David didn't find anything other than the woman who was in the pics he's been looking at for 7 years.  It's still a total catfish story.  She's not coming to Murica to live in a van with him!  Hell, I bet she didn't even know he existed prior to TLC calling her up a week before and offering her a payday to meet the loser who thinks she's his soul mate.

If that's the case, he must have given her the same impression only to show up and be angry that she was "just using him for a green card"

It's hard for me to understand why anyone thinks meeting in person is a mere formality.

Even in Stephanie's case...I think you're 100% right, in that I think there was a lot of "sexting" in their online communications.  But, clearly the chemistry wasn't there in person.  Stephanie did a terrible job of communicating that, but I don't think it's wrong that she felt that way.

There is a difference between real life, when the rubber hits the road and you're face to face with a man and his fucked up nipple tattoos and criminal past and the fantasy world of an online relationship.

I didn't see varya as being weird, I saw her as being contemplative, smart and confident enough to avoid any of Geoffrey's mind games.

So true!  In my online dating adventure before "hitting paydirt," I had what I would have to describe as remarkable success.  I'm an introvert and not exactly brimming with self-confidence.  Prior to a couple years ago, the idea of meeting women on a dating app would have been pretty much a non-starter for me.  But, once I made the leap and put up a profile, I realized pretty quickly that I had a few things in my favor.  I'm in decent shape and look young for my 53 years.  I've always been thin - but over the past few years I've gained a few pounds.  I'm still thin, but no longer "skinny."  I have no vices.  Non-smoker, social drinker, no drugs, no meds of any sort.  Also, I write well...which made it easy for me to get past the first few messages where a lot of guys maybe get filtered out because they say something stupid.  So, I got some good pics of myself (after doing a bit of research on what sorts of pics might work best) - and honestly, even though I'm not in a big city I had success right off the bat.  I met probably a dozen women over a year or so, and I'd say 4 of them had "real potential" - meaning both parties were into each other even after meeting.  Frankly the whole experience was a pretty big ego boost for me.

Here's the thing though - probably 10 of the 12 cases had a really fantastic text message preamble before the first date.  Based on the week to 2 weeks of chat that occurred prior to setting a date there really seemed to be a great connection.  But 6 out of those 10 upon meeting pretty much just fizzled immediately.  All that great build-up just went up in smoke.  And in every case, even the one that "stuck", the initial meeting was at least a little awkward and uncomfortable.  You just don't really know anything until you actually meet.

Although, the one that worked was very close to that.  It was pretty magical from chat to reality and that intitial awkwardness didn't last long...so it can actually work peeps!  lol...

Clearly Lana’s bosses decided that if David didn’t finally meet her, he might stop paying.   Now he is convinced they are engaged and he can be strung along for another seven years and she struggles to get permission to leave the country and needs money from him.  Or maybe her sister needs her financial help and if only David can help....

I doubt the people running the scam service care about keeping David on the hook when there's any number of other fools waiting in line to hand over their money.  At this point, David is probably more trouble than he's worth to them.

I'd imagine Sharp got in contact with her and offered her some money to appear.  There's nothing about her appearance that changes the reality of the situation.  She's obviously not interested in a relationship with him and she's obviously been stringing him along with her stories about poverty and long finger nails, lol...

If the dating site is involved, it's likely less about keeping David hooked and more about showing all the other losers that there might actually be a "real" person on the line rather than a bot or a conglomerate of staff monkeys.

  8. The video of Lana in the TA is hilarious!  She's dressed sharp, out walking amongst the people happily shopping.  Tight focus on her wad of cash as she makes a purchase.  Tight focus on her hand with short nails.  Tight focus on her using her iphone.

David - "She's shy and housebound with no money because she's poor and can't use a phone due to her long nails..."

    🤣

So annoying when Shaun was trying to get him to explain HOW he knows Lana is poor.

David - "well she's shown me her closet. She buys one new pair of tennis shoes every three years!""  LOL.

  9. I watched about an hour of the David part.  Good stuff!  lol...I'm pleased to see he actually pretty much is the idiot I thought he is.  😄 When fucking Cesar is scoring points off you, you KNOW you're a mess!  lol

Shaun comes across much better than on the actual TAs.  Plus, she looks spectacular!  lol

Erika apparently recorded the entire Tell All via her computer and then leaked it to someone. I downloaded it and watched most of it. It's interesting...It's also10 hours long and 1.5 GB.

One of the highlights is that David says he sent Lana an iPhone but that she couldn't use it because her nails are too long...She's too shy to talk or meet, and can't contact him vi anything but the website, yet she works as a travel agent from home. So, uh, yeah.

where can I acquire this gigantic morsel?  I'd like to watch the behind the scenes stuff...

I accidently came out to my mother on a patio at Starbucks because I had been very, very, very openly gay for years and I just assumed she knew even though I never had a big dramatic coming out with her.

"What if your dad asks why you are moving to the gay part of town?" "Um, I don't know, first of all it's not the gay part of town, and secondly, I am gay so it shouldn't be much of an issue." "You're gay?" "Um, yeah? Wait, what?" *mother starts sobbing on Starbucks patio while I process what I have just done*

    You're gay??  😱

    lol...just kidding 😂

I agree. I think THIS is fake. I can buy that it's something that happened to them in the past though. The numbers just don't work. How could David have dated 100 Ukrainian women and make several trips abroad, yet still somehow maintain a "relationship" with her for 7 years?

Well, he also says he's been in a "relationship" with Lana for 7 years.  Dating 100 Ukrainian women might just mean he chatted with a hundred bots on dating apps...

Rage?  He laughed during that conversation.  He wasn't raging and didn't even seem angered.  He hugged the guy after.

He said "I haven't been in a relationship for 7 years with someone who isn't real.  I mean come on."  and then he chuckled in what I thought sounded like an extremely nervous way.  I didn't sense anything funny in that "laugh."

And he definitely seemed a little ragey during the phone convo with the PI...

I was actually wondering if "Lana" could be more than one person.

y'know, if you stop and think about it, that would explain the weird way Lana contacted David after having stood him up for the 4th time.  She just shows up in the chat and says "so do you still want to meet and take photos for the visa?"  It was almost like she wasn't fully aware of what the specific plans were and didn't realize she'd already missed their appointed meeting time...maybe the various Lanas didn't do a good job of communicating the details of the plan to each other!  lol...

I've spoken to a few people who know him well IRL and they've said that they'd never even heard of Lana until the filming started. That he'd talked about traveling to Ukraine and meeting women, but that it was always multiple women, not just one. I still think David might be frauding us.

or maybe he's too embarrassed to admit to some friends that he's going there to be repeatedly stood up by an imaginary individual woman so he says it's a bunch of different women...

Or why she never game him her phone number?

That is good because back when you could stop in to a local bar for a drink, all you would have met was.....other guys.

I am happy you met a real woman close to your own age!  Sounds like you are very happy!!!

real women are way better than fake women!  lol...

No, because he wasn't wrong.  It should have been that moment, but he's too delusional.  🙂

I mean for sure he's going to do what he can to keep the illusion going, but he knows the truth.  He knows...  lol
