  1. I frelling love this character, and I'm glad to hear she'll be heavy set in the new animated movie. Her interactions with Lex are also good. I like how she's human, but moves amongst all these superheroes and villains with such conviction. ETA: I also like the subtle humour she brings. This is one of my favourite scenes, she cracks me up throughout. From the way she barges past the guard, to her reaction to Lex injecting himself. I love how at one point she warily puts her hands up to stop Lex moving closer, and says "How long?" (CCH did such a good job with the vocals.) Her raised eyebrow, "Supplements?" To her looking confused by Lex's proposition. She's just a fun character to watch, and tbh I agree with her stance. The JL needs oversight.
  2. What artist do you believe is underrated? Is there someone whose voice, music, songwriting or instrumental skills you think is overlooked by the music press or buying public. That they're not as appreciated as they should be? From any time or genre. I've recently discovered Ciara, and I just love quite a few of her songs. Not the dancey pop tracks, but her slower R&B numbers. Her voice is very mellow and sweet, the music smooth. A welcomed relief from the post-Aguilera over-singing that has blighted music for some time. I really like her stuff, but I've noticed she gets derided and is seen as more of a dancer. Well I think she's very underrated and have been enjoying her songs!
  3. Stiles in therapy with Ms Morrell, was one of TW's best scenes. Dylan was so good. I too hope they explore the Nogitsune aftermath, but I doubt they will.
  4. I'm sure there was a S3 spoiler about Scott struggling to control his alpha form, but nothing. I'm hoping we see something about that in S4.
  5. I must be one of the few people who absolutely do not want them together. I see nothing romantic between them, and think the characters would be worse off together.
  6. I'll never like what he did to Erica, Boyd and Isaac. He certainly lied through omission by not telling them about the coming Alpha pack. He was a terrible leader, they all abandoned him and rightly so. But he improved in S3, he was much more of team player. I agree with others that his best moments are with Argent. He doesn't seem to have a place on the show, and that could be it. To me, he's never come across as Scott's mentor. They've been at odds too much and Deaton better fits that role. With Argent he has good rapport and it's nice to see him interact with the adults.
  7. Raylan became so unlikeable to me in this season, I wanted Darryl to mess him up. I think the ending to that storyline was lame. All those boring scenes with Ava paid off. Her precarious situation and desperation was well established, making her decision to turn understandable.
  8. I think it could be Garza. Her relationship with future!Alec is still hazey. She's his fail safe. We don't know what he's instructed her to do. My second guess is one of the Freelancers. They only wanted to deal with the Kiera they'd already come to an agreement with.
  9. I don't think Will has been boring at all. And I don't agree with the opinion that a character not willing to break the rules is boring. It's a complaint I'm hearing a lot lately, and I'm tired of the anti-hero/dark-hero trope being presented as better, and its proliferation throughout the media in the past decade. Calling Will "goody two-shoes" is juvenile, not everyone needs to be Batman. I find a lot of characters who adhere to that trope deeply unlikeable, self-absorbed and one dimensional. The recent incarnation of Batman included. I think Will has always been interesting because he's been in constant conflict with himself. Struggling with his darker urges and trying to channel them into something good. We now see him allow those parts to come through, so he can catch Hannibal. All the while, the question of who he'll become hangs over him. I don't know what Will was supposed to be doing in S1. If we had not seen him in such inner turmoil, and seen his desire to be good, despite his huge potential to be otherwise, the significance of his shift in behaviour would be lost, and I don't think the dynamic between Will and Hannibal would be as intense or interesting.
  10. I don't know what to think about Will killing Tier. I feel that even if Will and Jack do eventually catch Hannibal, Will has lost in some way. It may have been self-defence, but Will is in a much different place than when he killed Hobbs.
  11. After watching the PKW, I'm done with Aeyrn and John. Enough has been said about them, it's time for Farscape to move on. It needs to establish itself as a world in its own right, that can continue to create and sustain new characters, like Star Trek. This is an opportunity. Maybe if the film does well, a tv series will be commissioned. I can see Scorpius continuing to appear, because Wayne can wear the make-up and not look too different. He'd also easily fit into a new story with new characters. Chiana also, but to a lesser degree. Regardless, the film should expand the Farscape story, not rehash John and Aeyrn's tired relationship. I'd also prefer it to concentrate on non-Sebaceans creatures.
  12. I'm in S3 of my rewatch, and I know what you mean! I enjoyed the romance in the previous seasons, but it's become too much. Though so far I think S3 is weaker overall. It seems like they ran out of ideas. I don't even remember Jool. Maybe I blocked it out, but her inclusion has changed the show's tone and quality. I can't stand all the bickering and childishness. Yes it was there before, but it's really been ramped up, and the characters seem more infantile. She doesn't have much of a role and isn't a well defined character. Maybe it'll pick up but tbh, I can see why it was cancelled. Though like Firefly, it's an interesting world that could be resurrected with new characters.
  13. Well I like Darryl and hope he survives. I find him entertaining, and the family dynamic interesting. I didn't like Danny, I'm glad he's dead. But I want Darryl, Wendy and Kendall to come away with their heroin money and finally retire. I'm still not convinced that Darryl shot Art. The show seems to be pointing to more, and Raylan is going off the rails and heading for a long overdue crash. Ava's prison story is mostly a bore, but it has its moments. The only thing I like less than Ava's prison story is Dewey's story. He's so dumb and annoying, I just can't care about what happens to him.
  14. I've heard good things about Arrow, but idk. I loved the ups and downs of Smallville, but after being disappointed with how Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries developed, I'm wary of CW shows. Mind you, I have said S.H.E.I.L.D is everything I expect from a CW show, so maybe Arrow will be nice surprise.
  15. I thought I'd get a thread up and running for tomorrow's episode, and give people a chance to settle into the forum. It looks good. I've given the first two episodes some leeway because getting rid of Escher was a huge relief and improvement. Hopefully from now on the show will pick up, and the main focus will move back to the L8 vs the Corporate State battle. I don't mind The Freelancer/Guardians, whatever they're calling themselves, but I'm not a fan of that being the show's focus.
  16. I loved Smallville. I wish there was another good comic based live action show. S.H.E.I.L.D has been such a let down for me. The two main things I remember about Smallville, are how Clark would barge into Lex's office and accuse him of something. And Lana's quest to uncover the "secrets and lies". Such a frustrating but fun show.
  17. This was one of the strongest episodes this season. I don't beileve Darryl is the shooter. I think Allison is involved somehow. I could be wrong, but she's has a suspicous air about her.
  18. I'm currently doing a rewatch. I was worried the show wouldn't hold up, but it does! All the characters are still so strong and interesting. Chiana has just come onboard the ship
  19. It's still upsetting that Allison has died, and the way her exit was handled. Crystal brought such a presence to the show.
