  1. I have missed challenges like this. Simple. Straightforward. "It's cold. Make a winter look." or "Here's New York. Use it as your inspiration." or "Here's a storage unit full of crap. Make something." or "Here are a group of Drag Queens. Make them an outfit." I can't STAND what the show has become. "We're taking you on a King Kong ride at Universal and we want you to make a look inspired by King Kong." What? Or "Here's this obscure kids' movie about dance. Watch fifteen minutes of it and then make a outfit inspired by movement." (That challenge still confused the hell out of me.) I own seasons 1-8 on DVD and own many more episodes through Amazon and the way this show has fallen, it's almost upsetting and it shows to me that I have way TOO much invested in it. But tonight's challenge. I got on board immediately. And ugh, Margarita. You're just not a good person.
  2. Michael and Margarita both telling the camera they could have handled that differently. No, really? You think? I'm no fan of Claire, but that was all for the dramatics and wanting to cause drama and attention and was completely ridiculous. I now am waiting for you two to go home. Anyway, I don't know what the hell Shopkins are, but judging from the looks of them, this could actually be a pretty cool Avant Garde challenge. We shall see.
  3. I hate that this show is needlessly an 1 1/2 now because I always fall asleep with the last half hour left and then have to wait to get home from work on Friday to watch it. I wish they would cut the models talking to themselves in the mirror. Reading through everyone's comments, I see that neither twin was eliminated this week, but they're like one of those mythical creatures that only the head of Medusa would be able to get rid of, or they're like Vincent in S3, who lasted all the way to the trip to Paris. Neither have any talent from what I've seen so far and they're only sticking around for the schtick of having them on the show - annoying designers and viewers alike.
  4. "I've made more bad decisions at three o'clock in the morning than I can list." - Tim Gunn to Chris March in S4.
  5. I own seasons 1-8 on DVD and have actually bought way too many episodes on Amazon. All of season 9, 10, 12... it's a sickness.
  6. I have seen every episode of every season. (I've committed far too much time and money in this show to quit it now - no matter how many times I tell myself to.) I remember contestants from all seasons and have strong opinions on judge decisions made years ago. For instance, Kevin being auf'd in S4 for the prom dress episode when it was his first time in the bottom over Ricky, who had been in the bottom countless times, is one of them lol But this episode is the first episode I've seen that I didn't really understand the challenge and I definitely didn't understand the way the designers interpreted the challenge and none of the designs made anything clearer to me.
