  1. I've thought that since the first episode. There was an scene of them saying they were ride or die and then there was one where they hated each other and my first thought was it was all a plan. But then again, these 2 don't seem to be the brightest bulbs in the chandelier. What is the point of the entire pregnancy plot? Just a way to get unexplained but possibly murder blood on the floor?
  2. And it was a misdemeanor, which isn't nothing, but that lawyer was acting like she committed first degree murder. Which we'll find out happened to Luke in the last 2 minutes of the final episode. But since I don't care about any of the characters (though I'm fine with the acting,) die Luke. Blonde girl, you have skills that will be greatly needed as you slide into the 00's. Find a startup or another school. Brown haired girl - go back to whatever "foreign" country you came from and leave this mess behind. And if you did kill Lisa...whatever, I don't care.
  3. I've been binging all day and this seems like an overly confusing plot. I'm just along for the ride and something to watch while I work, but S1 seemed more coherent. But maybe it will all come together at the end. Was Isabella on an official foreign exchange student program? Can the host family just kick you out when you are having a rift with the family's daughter and also maybe killed a guy or covered up the killing of a guy? Cuz it seems like there should be some fine print in the exchange agreement. At this point, if Isabella and Megan killed Luke, I'm kinda okay with that. They can run off to [insert state/country] and ride or die together. Not sure when this was written but I'm getting a hint of the Murdaugh murders. Just a hint but it could be coincidental or rich people's kids' actions resulting in another's death while shielding themselves from accountability is just a trope at this point.
  4. It really was. And he carried that all these years knowing it was wrong but still unable to let Paul go. And poor Paul thought all those schools rejected him. And it all started when Baby Danny was insecure and just wanted a connection with his little bro. The writing of this show is superb.
  5. I loved the whole series. From the crows to Danny's arm moving to embrace Amy while in the hospital bed, this was an amazing episode and a great finale.
  6. I just figured the old man heard Ant-Man, thought bug, misconstrued him with Spidey and Scott's too nice to correct him, after the first 5 times he probably corrected him. Spidey has the better reputation, he's a neighbor and friendly, that's reached San Francisco, and when old man realized he was Ant-Man, while still a hero, he's no Spidey and has to pay full price. I'm sure I put more thought into that interaction than was necessary. I enjoyed it enough. Could have watched an entire move of MP and JM talking and doing science. I liked that the beings in the quantum realm were varied and not only human with different skin color/texture. Pink goo guy was great. The sentient buildings were cool, too.
  7. Of this new trilogy, I enjoyed the first one (until I started thinking about it logically and it all fell apart,) and thought Kills got too campy with the town mob. This one - whew - half way through the movie I was convinced this whole thing would end with Laurie finishing her book and saying, "Back in the 70s I babysat some kids and had this idea. What if a scary, masked madman tried to kill us? Please enjoy the final Book 13 in my Halloween series." Like super convinced. And then that did not happen.
  8. I've enjoyed the entire season, but this was great. Loved seeing Matt again, not a fan of the new colors. It was fun seeing a flirty, less broody Matt. And it doesn't surprise me that Jen didn't know him. One of my fave comments about DD was the Avengers are out there saving universes, and Matt's micromanaging the shit out of like 8 blocks.
  9. I don't know how or why Brandon Boyd was White Jesus, but he was great! I see Kenny Boy was still affected by his trip a few weeks ago. And a Lost Boys sax guy sighting. I love this show and the entire cast. It's funny and moving and really special.
  10. I was waiting for Angry Sheriff to have a twin, especially since he had twins, but that didn't happen.
  11. I barely know any of the girls' names. But when Bailee said the adoptive couple was in Rosewood, I got excited to maybe see an OG character and then they said Aria and Ezra and I wanted to throw something at my TV. Yeah, this was bad bad. I did enjoy identifying all the horror movie homages but the story made no sense and so many plot points were dropped into a well, never to be seen again. I'm that gif of the lady trying to do the math with regards to the principal's age. And did he die? I still don't know if Karen or Kelly died. Why did A seemingly help the girls the entire time and then go after Bailee? What rundown podunk high school has a full ballet program? I could go on and on. Oh wait, one more thing - why the hell was no one completely freaking out that Mouse was role playing with a dude in a hotel room whose daughter was dead? Her moms and boyfriend were like, oh, okay, cool. And did that dude pay her? I would like to watch a show explaining this show.
  12. There's...a lot going on there. I was actually on the stretch of road he crashed his Scion tC at 100 mph last Saturday and I can see how he crashed. That's not a stretch of highway to race on. I cannot wait until Friday.
  13. @Ms Blue Jay Robbin really is the gift that keeps on giving! I'm curious how many number mentions were edited out of that article.
  14. I was in tears during the second episode. I would like an entire miniseries about Robin and his roommate. 3 mattresses. The random fight. 22! Hope he realizes his NBA dreams. Bailing in the middle of the night. Did you know he crashed his Scion at 100 mph? Poor Nathan is still trying to find love and belonging. I cannot wait until the next episode.
  15. She's adorable and Disney better protect her when the assholes come for The Marvels, which, so very sadly, they will.
  16. I was looking up something completely unrelated and this popped up. As @Dani said above, this is a straight up PG homage to Fight Club.
  17. Cosign! When she was calling Blake a loser for leaving to live an independent life, it was so cruel. I kept thinking you think THIS is appropriate dialogue? As a self professed healer? She feeds off pain and it's so hard to watch. Her followers are all over the internet defending her, but I really hope a few can finally see through her grift and find healthier ways to heal.
  18. I'm sure the editing will be blamed again, but when she was so condescending to Juliana, I wanted to punch her. Guess what, girlfriend, you're whole demeanor is one giant smirk at the world. These dumdums really thought the PI was going to sing their praises. And you know she only said "maybe" to the cult question because Teal would have hung up otherwise. She was so mad, and this actually may have been the result of editing, but it appears she immediately pivoted her anger about the PI truth telling onto Juliana. Encouraging her group to turn on Juliana was gross. I went to look at Blake's FB page but found Teal's instead. She's posting comic sans memes and talking about gaslighting. Oh hon, so you DO know what you're doing to others.
  19. Thanks for starting this thread, I've been wanting to see what others think. Other than Teal is narcissistic and abusive because whoa, if she thought this was going to show how amazing she is, her psychic abilities should have shown her it was not to be. I'm sure she has trauma in her life, but it wasn't satanic cults, and she may want to work on the anger that vibrates off of her before she advises others. I worked at a camp for kids who had trauma/difficulties (abuse, adoption, ADHD, deceased parent, etc.) and there was an activity where we'd have the kids play out a typical scene from their life using the other people in our group. So a kid would basically make a live diorama. One instance showed a kid with his dog in front of a TV while his dad and new stepmom were off in their room. But the stand-ins used would have NEVER made comments back or make assumptions of what was happening. I was straight up appalled that lady said she "sensed" there had been abuse. I'm kinda suprised she didn't already have some routine garbage to say to Sabrina when she questioned her. I felt so bad for her. She's in such pain, and when her instincts are right in telling her this environment is unhealthy, her cult leader waterboards her and tells her she loves her. That's fucked up.
  20. I'm not surprised at all that Wanda went full villain. She had no consequences after WV, was in isolation, dealing with grief, despair, guilt, was tormented every night with a dream of the two things she loved and missed the most, and she was delving deeply into dark magic. That's a fast pass to murderville. At the end of WV, I thought she was astral projecting like Strange did to learn, but now I think she was already creating her new reality. She wasn't really chillin on the front porch with tea. She was getting down and dirty with dark magic and then heard the kids she missed desperately calling for her. She went full on mom crazy mode. (And I loved every second of it.) Also, Bee and Rat from Endgame need a spinoff. Who needs butterflies?
  21. I enjoyed it. I had 2 hours of bonkers fun so I left happy. Yes, the script is weak, but I thought the performances covered some of it. Lizzie was MVP. Loved America, and I want Young Avengers now!! I've been patient. Give it to me. I know they're young, but I really like Billy and Tommy's actors and I hope they keep them. Plus, as seen with Stranger Things and, you know, actual children, they grow up fast. There was definitely a mini freak out in my theater when the Illuminati showed up. I felt that Black Bolt was my reward for being a completist Marvel stan. The cast was never the problem with that show and there were soooo many problems. Except for Lockjaw. He was perfect. (And I'm still holding out hope for Gemma Arterton as Medusa.) I also like that it was mildly scary and one of the jump scares even got me. I'm going to need a frame by frame breakdown of all the multiverses they went through. I also think Wanda will be back. To me, she's a sympathetic villain though I understand why others find her irredeemable. I took Professor X's statement about having a misstep doesn't mean you can't make it right or whatever it was to be about Wanda as much as Strange. And yes, her misstep was murdery and really, really bad but we have Loki so come on! And how much do I love that PS came back after saying he was done after Logan. When that '97 theme came on, whew! My high school years hanging with my bf on Saturday mornings came rushing back.
  22. I really liked it. Oscar was fab as per usual and he was also surprisingly funny. Poor one fin fishy friend Gus though. Tear. Ethan Hawke is sufficiently creepy so far. The CGI was bad in the car chase but that seems to be the norm with some of the Marvel Disney + shows. I know nothing about Moon Knight other than some hilarious comic panels I've seen and his character had the highest power in some fighting game I played. I keep reading elsewhere people complaining about the accent, but I thought it was obvious to me that the accent was deliberately fake when whoever called him was like WTF is that accent?? I'm excited to see where it goes, and I hope they explore how bonkers the Egyptian gods are/were.
  23. First I thought it was Shauna's dream, then I thought it had to be Jackie's, but apparently, it's Shauna's. (At least, that's what Jonathan Lisco says here.) From https://decider.com/2022/01/16/yellowjackets-season-1-ending-explained-lottie-jackie-hunter-theories/
  24. As others have said, I'm also lowering my expectations after reading the showrunners article. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I think I was building the show up to be something it's not and better to be surprised then constantly disappointed. Plus I'm really watching the show for the actors and their relationships. So they confirmed Adam was just Adam. Nothing nefarious. Not in a cult. Randomly hangs out at hotel bars and doesn'teven have an Instagram he rarely posts on. Just a dude who's now dead. Alright then.
  25. Thinking on it, wasn't Akilah new to the team or JV? Someone made a comment when she was on the plane telling her to sit elsewhere but then said they were just kidding. Mari maybe? If she replaced Ally she wouldn't have been in the team photo.
