  1. Tommy’s one of the few rookies this year that I think could actually pull in new viewers. Not only was he on Big Brother but he’s an original Broadway cast member of Newsies and that fan base is pretty big. I’m over the Nelson not winning dailies joke. They can do one more- when he actually wins one.
  2. They also seemed to have Abby and Will on separate screens, if not rooms, on that Zoom call. So maybe only one of them was positive. I remember Abby and Will because she was so excited at the start of the race. I feel bad that they were the ones who couldn't continue. Re the Arabic rolling R being more guttural--I can't do that either.
  3. The Derek and Claire rolling R thing is cracking me up, cause I do have a condition that makes it so I can’t roll Rs. Funny that only the brothers realized they didn’t both have to do the whole alphabet.
  4. I swear that Phil did his movie intro on the cliff that Indy goes over in Last Crusade. Would be very cool if they hunted that out. Petra was amazing to see on this show, but like others I'm confused how Derek and Claire managed to catch up with the sibling teams by the time they got there. They started 30 minutes(?) behind them, so Derek's running with the metal detector really did make a difference.
  5. Assuming The Mole:Germany is like all other versions of the show, Colleen didn’t lie her way to the end and win and also be the mole. The mole doesn’t win the game and the mole always makes it to the end. So stop saying that Jakk. However Colleen, none of these idiots, especially Fessy, have any idea what The Mole is, so you’re probably safe to talk about it.
  6. I enjoyed the prison break task. It was interesting watching the 3 teams solve it differently. I think the 2nd team out was the only one to figure out the correct solution on their own. 1st team beasted through it and 3rd needed the clue. I think Samara couldn't see the key on the ring, but Will should have realized there was no reason for a "large hair tie" to be right in his eyesight, so I blame them both. I noticed that Joy never opened the rectangular window on her door, just did everything through the little round peephole.
  7. I haven’t been able to rewatch the ‘winner’s round’ but I think they missed New Years, Juneteenth, and Veterans Day on the federal holidays. If I’m right and Ben went out not knowing Veterans Day, I’m gonna laugh again. What ‘N’ state was missing? I liked the elimination with the penalty for breaking the wrong glass. Don’t know if that sent Xavier and Shan home, but it probably helped.
  8. When Sarah started talking about being a cop and how that would help her in this game, I just rolled my eyes. She has clearly never seen the Challenge.
  9. Is that what happened? I stayed up late to watch the finish of that and the commentators couldn’t understand why no one had broken off to catch the Austrian earlier. I guess they thought they’d already reabsorbed her into the peloton? Cause they caught the Polish and Israeli cyclists with about 3 miles to go.
  10. Can anyone recommend a glossary of the tricks? I’m enjoying the skating but have no idea what’s difficult.
  11. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2020/06/30/arts/music/johnny-mandel-dead.amp.html Johnny Mandel, composer of the MASH theme song died yesterday.
  12. @peachmangosteen it looks like you gave Amber the immunity win points even though she’s on EOE.
  13. My favorite Nurse Kelley moment was in the episode that's in real time, when Hawkeye was describing artery sizes using pasta and she responds "Captain, I'm half Chinese and half Hawaiian, could you put that in ethnic measurements I can understand?" Plus, she was cute as hell.
  14. Alright, I've got Tyson, Amber, Rob, and Yul. I think Tyson might get me those episode title points.
  15. After Johnny’s obnoxious “Welcome to the Challenge” last week and “I am the Challenge” this week, I was thrilled to see him go. I think part of why Ninja was shocked by being voted in last week was because last season Johnny went home so early that he didn’t have a chance to poison everyone and it was a purer Challenge. Get rid of Jordan, Tori, Ashley and a couple others and we might get it again.
  16. Can someone remind me who Wes was actually allied with? I vaguely remember the Brady Bunch squares in the first episode but I only know Joss and Rohan for sure. Because based on this episode, Kyle just gave Laurel a list of random names and suddenly they were ‘facts’. Laurel drives me crazy. She was the first one to turn against the team, but it’s everyone else’s fault? And arguing that the ‘call’ was wrong at the end? No, girl, you screwed up.
  17. Somehow I picked the last 3 HOHs. So I'm finally picking up points.
  18. Inkmaster’s Twitter did a poll on who should have won tattoo of the day. Dani won with 74% of the vote. As a cross stitcher, Dani’s was amazing. And I don’t think it needed backstitch. I’ve done several pieces where you have a photo turned into a chart and none of those ever have backstitch. And that’s basically what they were supposed to do. Did any of them even use graph paper?
  19. Whoo! Not in last by as much! At least until they nominated Jessica again. I'm gonna lose so many points with her.
  20. No one else has mentioned it so I guess it was just my station: I didn’t get to see Ovi actually get evicted. We came back from commercial to everyone hugging and the “Camp Comeback is now open” announcement. The editing of the last 20 minutes was a mess.
  21. I feel like I’ve been waiting for Colin and Christie to win for 14 years. So glad they came back. I’ll be saving this episode for awhile. Enjoyed the re-enactors at Dover Castle. They were clearly having a great time. Did Jack White sponsor the final leg?
  22. I want to play this year! I'll draft Holly, Tommy, Jessica and Ovi. DE pick--Sam.
  23. I don’t know what show we’ve been watching all season, but it really wasn’t Survivor. Maybe it was the spinoff: Edge of Extinction. That way I can ignore it in rankings.
  24. San Dimas High School football rules!
  25. I’m thinking now of some of the smaller things I loved: like all of Scott’s stuff, including the van, being moved to storage. Scott desperately hoping not to see Cassie’s name on the memorial (which, let’s be honest, I cannot believe would be finished in five years). The way, right before Hulk snapped, everyone protected themselves and the person next to them (Thor stepping in front of Rocket, Tony shielding Clint). La Cucharacha playing mid battle, and Wasp carrying Ant Man to the van. So much wonderfulness in this movie!
