  1. 18 episodes of Jane is way too many. But just imagine the top notch writing for her vertical this situation would inspire.
  2. Kate was also photographed out shopping for books this week. So yeah, I agree. If that "rule" ever existed, it hasn't for a long time.
  3. Maybe it's that he already got a deal for his next book, but it's about a guy who is dating the most self-centered human being in history but can't break up with her because she'll just write about it for the rest of their lives.
  4. When Jane was on the phone with her dad he said, of her writing, "you are always looking for the personal angle" and I couldn't stop laughing. The show writers have to be trolling at this point.

  7. I was really hoping Sutton or Kat might suggest that if she was going to kiss another man to fix her relationship perhaps there was a larger problem. Or that Pinstripe might tell her he realized the problem with them was that she's the most irritating person on the planet. Alas. I guess the breakup will have to wait for when Jane really needs a story idea.
  8. Also I'm sure they'd be able to relive the experience with everyone else reading the 12 part series on the Jane's Breasts vertical (not to be confused with the Jane's Ovaries, Jane's Uterus, Jane's Back Acne, Jane's Weird Toenail verticals that are soon to take over Scarlet).
  9. I agree with so much of what you said but want to pull this out in particular. Wolfgang and Rajan go through a lot together in the short period of time they have. They bond quickly. Who know what might happen long term with the three of them but love for Kala, mutual respect and affection make it totally believable to me that Rajan would be willing to at least explore it. And I think in some ways this is the real beauty of the show. That Rajan and the other non-cluster characters can, through the existence of sensates, be more like our sensates - opening their hearts and minds to things they never thought possible. To me, this is what the show challenges its viewers to do as well.
  10. Aaah! Thank you for including thar screenshot. I'm laughing at that scene all over again and might need to do a rewatch. I'll always treasure and miss this show.
  11. The article linked to in this tweet says Archie is still in Canada, and his parents are flying back to him after this quick trip to the UK. It was, of course, initially suggested as something scandalous or suspicious to do, but seems more like smart parenting to not drag a baby on two long flights in just a few days. I saw some speculation earlier that they left Archie in Canada so the queen wouldn't hold him hostage in the UK so they couldn't leave and wondered who exactly that silly scenario is supposed to make look bad.
  12. Harvey Weinstein's trial is underway and his publicist is sending journalists a powerpoint entitled "The Proper Narrative for Addressing the Harvey Weinstein Case" that is, according to this article, full of nonsense and apparently left in notes from the drafting process. And the always effective he didn't rape every single woman he met defense:
  13. Yeah I'm unclear about what the conspiracy theory even is here. They got a CTV producer to pretend to run into them and have a picture taken by Meghan? And then... tell people they were nice?
  14. Yes, Alice making such a messy Alice move really sold me on the show, honestly. And naming the bar Dana's was sweet. Maybe they can name one of the dumpsters out back after Jenny.
  15. This is the very first time I'm hearing of this but the trailer looks interesting.
  16. It's definitely a different approach. We saw Beck's disaster of a life from the very beginning but Love we don't get dropped right in, so she's harder to know. I actually enjoy the contrast and that Love is so proactive and forward, even as it makes me slightly suspicious of her.
  17. My question exactly. Something is way off about her story.
  18. I was thinking the same thing. Please invite me to the Luscious Head of Hair Summit next year.
  19. I agree. I didn't especially like Jensen joking about it, but I think he deserves some slack because he had nothing to do with what happened and was in a rough spot in terms of addressing it. It's funny because my BvJ opinions were always about the characters but this incident has made me rethink some things offscreen.
  20. I agree. I don't see anything charming about joking about being a violent drunk.
  21. They have to treat his that way, Dean is mean and stupid, remember? It's smart, sensitive Sam's job to try and teach him how to think and feel correctly. 😡
