Wow, only 150? I had no idea. I have been wondering what would spell the end of DCC: MTT, and I suspect we’ll be seeing the end of it sooner rather than later. Don’t throw tomatoes or make a voodoo doll, but we all know that all good things must end. Thirteen seasons is a looooooong run (even for a successful show) and I’m willing to bet that a decrease in audition hopefuls, an increase in drama-laden TCCs that are just there to get their Instagram-promoter career off the ground (ahem, Kalyssa), and Erica’s lawsuit will spell the end of our beloved show. And I would completely understand and support that decision - it’s starting to turn the way of a trashy reality TV show, and I believe Kelli is smart enough to pull the reigns in on that shit quickly. Time will tell.

I’m with you. Women can wear whatever and whenever they please. It’s the ogling men in this case that need to STFU.

I LOVED Candice Romo and would love to see her back. I second the comments of less Melissa Rycroft, NO Anthony Ramos, and NO guest choreographers/guest "stars." I'm hoping TPTB will go back to the roots of the show and stop with the fake, forced glitz and glamour (a girl can dream, right?).

That’s exactly what I was thinking. No way are they not doing a story on her. Can’t wait for the new season <insert HUGE eyeroll>.

I couldn’t stand her from her first moments at auditions. Buh-bye!

In my opinion, she would’ve gotten WAY more recognition on a larger scale from sticking around and being a part of the DCC swimsuit calendar.

I certainly don’t expect these gals to put 110% into their DCC careers only, and some of the best gals have had other priorities while DCC or after (thinking of Carisa with her family’s financial struggles or Olivia and Jacie moving on to the Rockettes). I’m sure there’s a bit of implicit bias because Kalyssa has gone down a sketchier path than others, but it would have been nice to see her fulfill her contract instead of jumping ship the minute she wasn’t getting recognition on the field anymore. It’s not like this new career of hers would’ve passed her by in four short months. And I’d bet my right arm that if the Cowboys had went to the postseason, she would’ve stuck around for that and put the nude modeling on hold.

I’m willing to bet that no matter what happens with Cersten in medical school, she will get “matched” with the DCC-friendly plastic surgeon. And that will be her career - molding future DCC hopefuls into perfect-looking human beings as the coveted Dr. Bradley.

It bears repeating - with such killer abs, it baffles me why TPTB chose THAT photo of Lauren for her publicity shot. I cringe every time I see it. It makes her look heavy and like she’s wearing a diaper.

Slade is single, and Christina is single. They can go on as many dates as they please with no regard to who he (or she) has dated in the past.

APRN = advanced practice registered nurse. It encompasses all the RN advanced practice designations (CRNA, NP, CNM, and CNS). Count me as another RN that is happy to see Cersten go. #byefelicia

Ahhh...wasn’t the plastic surgeon a former DCC as well? Oh, that “confidence” of applying to only one school knowing that you will get in based on who you know. The DCC way! <sips tea>

It bears repeating - while I respect the changes the cheerleaders are trying to make from the inside, these women HAVE to stop showing up in droves to perform this job under the current conditions to make any serious change. Why would any team offer better conditions when thousands of cheerleader-hopefuls happily show up (after spending plenty of $$ for prep, btw) to perform under the current conditions?

Victoria leaping in front of everyone (in record time at that!) to get right in Kitty’s face was beyond uncomfortable to watch. I couldn’t stand Tina Kalina when she was featured on the show, so it’s no surprise that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Oh, I hope so. She was one of my favorites from last season.

That was my first thought at the suggestion of live streaming solos. I would love it as well, but highly unlikely due to the show.

It’s never made sense to me why they would do the shoot before auditions. Money, time, editing, picking suits, etc. Seems very wasteful to send all the returning vets when they average around three veteran cuts at finals. Go back and watch the last episode of season 5. Amy Reese was chosen for a month in the calendar, but the show was edited to make it seem like Ally Traylor was chosen instead. You could tell just by Ally’s “reaction” that it wasn’t real. When they show the back of the calendar (I think Tobie was the headliner, with small prints of all the other months) you can see Amy’s photo instead of Ally’s.

While I respect that these women are attempting to affect change in the cheerleader ranks, I have no sympathy for their troubles on a NFL squad. They know what they are signing on to do when they show up in droves at auditions. Want to make a statement and truly affect change? Stop showing up. Stop the willingness to accept any stipulation just for the “privilege” of being on a NFL cheerleading squad.

THANK YOU for this link. I'd never seen it, and it just makes me love Nicole even more. THAT'S what I feel is missing from the current squad(s) - gals like Nicole who are fabulous representatives of DCC without being snotty/getting a big head about her abilities, all while being a fabulous dancer. Jenna and Cersten can't hold a candle to Nicole, IMHO.

Top 10, for me, means the “total package.” Jenna’s dancing is great, but I can’t get past her off-the-field antics. And Cersten’s dancing does nothing for me, as previously mentioned. Again, we don’t require consensus here. True top 10? Go back and watch old clips of Nicole Hamilton. She’s arguably the best DCC of all-time.

Unpopular opinion, but Cersten's dancing does nothing for me. Even watching snippets of her solo from last year's auditions, I couldn't figure out why she was given a Barbie. She dances too aggressively (similar to how Lauren was described during her audition) and carries herself while dancing like she's the best one in the room (and she's not). It's not pleasant to watch.

Just give them poles and they're all set.
