  1. Am I supposed to not like LoLo for not pointing the back of the pack teams towards the clue in the final six? Really? Brooke is so depressing. She's just a depressing person to watch. How does she function in real life.
  2. I'm so tired of seeing that Pnina dress the Afghan bride chose. And I hate it every time. It's so basic. The bride with all the sisters were very loud and over the top, but were very endearing.
  3. I would of bowed out of this show if Brooke was my partner. "TELL ME WHERE TO PUT MY HANDS." "I can't see 50 feet up in the air." "USE YOUR EYES." "I...am using my eyes" Use YOUR eyes woman, or are those also a weak body part? I don't care for U-Turns, especially when the teams are so close that it makes it near impossible for the teams to catch up, but I also dislike Ashton soooo... but it's one thing to say "they just haven't gelled with us" than "they aren't cool enough to hang with us". Team no one.
  4. Both Bobby and Jody Mills are on Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders tonight!
  5. Grand Canyon bride - 3/4 of her boobs were uncovered and they looked terribly painful throughout the episode. Oh, and her areola is now blurred out. All class. Weight lifter bride was alright. Nothing really of note. I didn't think the dress looked great on her at all, but hey...she was happy. Other bride, beautiful dress but also nothing much going on other than SHUSH SHAY. Also, stop bullying your way through the stock room to find dresses.
  6. See, I don't necessarily blame the way Matt is dealing with Redmond in this instance. He's just a guy he met a week ago, and he knows he's going to be stuck with for however much longer they may last in the race. If it were me, yes I'd be tempted to tell Red to STFU but on the other hand, I do know that I would have to work with him and have him work with me well enough to win the race. Redmond also seemed to calm down after the u-turn and take it in stride. Also, it was Redmond who said women have drama, Matt was staring out the window if I recall correctly.
  7. Ashton, I don't know why she believes she was entitled to some beefy, smart, cool, funny, potential boyfriend but she needs to get over herself. Vanck is strange, yes, and second guesses himself sometimes. But he's not incompetent, he's up for anything, and he wants to make sure he gets stuff right. She's my least fav person right now (now that Shamir is gone) - Red is an ass, but he at least showed a bit of compassion towards Brooke, got over the U-turn seemingly, and isn't horrific to his partner. The fact she has the guts to say "I'm stuck with him" in front of Vanck like, get over yourself woman. Brooke... did she think she wouldn't have to do anything physical at all this entire time? She can't run, she can't lift boxes, she can't swing a hammer. The other contestants treated her crying much more nicely than I would have. I also don't know why she got pissed that Scott gave the key away. He couldn't just run away with it when there was a set number of keys and locks. I also think it's not his fault for thinking that making a ladle wouldn't be that difficult for her, in comparison to some of the other tasks that may be coming. He stepped up to do the windows when she cried about that and he was terrified. I thought I'd hate Logan and London but they're solid, easy going, still smiling even though last at a challenge. And both very pretty.
  8. I despised Claudia the moment she opened her mouth. I don't normally like to hate people on this show, but she was the most annoying bride in a long time. She also had terrible taste. Her sisters were pretty, but lord can they NOT talk like that? The contrast between no-job, spoiled 21 year old and a bride living in a trailer with her family because of a natural disaster... they must have done that to keep people watching but it made Claudia look even worse.
  9. He flinched pretty hard when she stopped her fist a few inches from his face so while yes, that may have been a reaction to the movement, he was clearly thrown off. I wouldn't enjoy the person I met a few days ago threatening violence, even if I didn't think they'd actually hit me - I don't think I would know them enough to make that assessment. I'm not sure why Matt is being pulled into Redmond's dickish behaviour - he never told him to stop and yes he cut in line which is not cool behaviour, but I don't think he said anything about being U-Turned. He seems relatively easy going and when he's taking part in the line cutting and no coin flipping, I see for him it's just the race and not expecting people to get that offended. But I'm sure time will prove me wrong
  10. It seemed like his fannypack was unzipped in the cab, his passport fell out, and didn't realize until after they checked in with Phil. Then they were brought back to the mat to Phil to tell them to find it. I don't think Phil was asking them about it, it seemed he was just expositioning it. The cameramen probably never saw it fall out or in the rush to get to the mat, they just got out and ran.
  11. Doesnt the U-Turn normally happen after the completion of the first detour? We usually get the drama of "well I can't swim so lets avoid that challenge' only to get u-turned to be forced to swim. Two sad losses in a row now. Redmond, not a good look buddy. I don't like the U-Turn either but it's not weak of a team to use it. It's weak of them to use it as a grudge over something petty, but not weak to use it against a strong team.
  12. Okay but can Mer get with cute dentist? She and Riggs had more chemistry with their other partners this episode than each other. The show needs to not force it. Not like it won't though. Riggs is not the person I would expect/want Meredith to ~move on with. Also didn't appreciate Meredith getting snippy with the pilot. I'm pretty sure she knew best when it comes to landing a plane.
  13. Even if the girls saw the cyclist the second they got there, they had zero chance of catching up. Shamir was finishing his round and they had to re-do the windows. It may have been closer but I don't believe they would have surpassed whiney-balls-mcgee after his 6th trip. Re: "flip a coin" - I wish we could have seen the exchange because part of me thinks it went down like 'oh it'd be nice to not kill ourselves out of the gate' 'yeah we should just flip a coin' 'hah yeah sure' which the boys thought yeah, sure whatever happens while Ashton took it to heart. At the end of the day, I take more offence to a lie that gets a team eliminated (though understand that lie more because it saves the team) than one where it doesn't affect the outcome whatsoever. But you know RACE. Why do people trust others on this show ever? They'd all hate me because I'd keep my mouth shut and/or lie constantly. I also think a long rant happened on the mat - Phil went from YOU'RE TEAM NUMBER WHATEVER calm face to sour face in the matter of a cut and I was caught off guard with it because I don't really remember a time when he's been that snippy with a contestant.
  14. I was hoping there would be some clause that since he purposely destroyed public property, they'd get disqualified. What a giant baby. Speaking of babies, Brooke - you don't need to try to 'keep up' when running because your elbow hurts. Scott is high strung, yes, but I'd rather be paired with him then hear her complain all the time. Ashton needs to get over that grudge because it was the tiniest thing. But I'm glad she's finally appreciating her partner despite him not looking like she wanted him to. I'm angry about the girls leaving - it seemed it had nothing to do with them and entirely on getting on the last flight (which was a travel agent booking) and getting stuck in traffic.
  15. Dan Levy has been tweeting from the writer's room so it is a go!
  16. I, sadly, am not. Men would have picked smaller women probably with the belief they're more agile for those types of challenges (I believe one commented on how one of the women looked like she could dance for those challenges), or purely because they wanted a pretty girl (and some don't like women taller than them). Women would have picked a man for ~strength and the belief they'll be better off with a man and may have look directly at them, rather consider her insane strength
  17. I'm not going to know these names for awhile so forgive me I find it funny how even though they're strangers, people teamed up in a way that made sense as if it were a regular season. The cop and the firefighter, the two 'weirdos' (who I hated in the first five minutes and now I love them), the two pretty people with the pretty names, the model and the surfer, the butcher and the auctioneer. Lots of uniforms this year - marines, cops, firefighters, drill sergeants, K-9 whatever.... The girl with the gay Harvard guy was the other Type A right? So they're going to implode. (I wrote this before the rowing and wow did not take long). Seth and Olive - I thought they wouldn't work well because cop + firefighter might be too hot headed but he seems super chill which chillled her out, so I like them. Also like snowboarder and army dude, also both chill. I have hopes for the all girl team - they may murder each other but they're also tough as shit and would be great if they would get it together. Also thought that them getting to ride with Phil would benefit them in some way, but they still got 2nd flight. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the stranger theme but also I still love the show I'm okay so far.
  18. CBS, small note - when you have your big emotional scene at the end with subtitles, try to not cover the bottom of your screen with a giant ad for another television show. I'm assuming he said his mother was dead?
  19. It was mentioned, when Randy brought in the dress he said it had extra length which she needed. I don't quite remember the final pan up and down, but it seemed like she didn't need anything added to it. The one thing that caught me off guard was when Shay said he attaches himself to loving families because he didn't have a loving mother of his own. Again, way unprofessional but explains why he cried last week over pregnant bride and her daugther.
  20. My head itched so much during this episode But it was also probably my fav this season. Everything with Alexis and David was amazing. Loved Stevie and Patrick ganging up on David at the store. Loved David exclaiming over everything in Stevie's apartment. Them talking about missing each other made me realize how much I missed them together.
  21. He's a consultant. I know because he states nearly every talking head that he is THE FIRST MALE CONSULTANT EVER so he has to be in a different category than Randy. I'm also pretty sure thats a lie because I was watching an older episode and I swear I saw a male consultant during those morning meetings.
  22. Randy's mom is a trip and I love her That bride's mother was a terrible, horrific person. What a sad excuse for a mother. Robin the consultant was also great Shay can leave at any time.
  23. Except they did in this episode? The first was her mother's father (grandfather? father...the age seems to be father) and they showed the tree when she was reading off her father's email - 'my grandmother was such and such and her father was such and such'. I'd write it out but I literally just hit delete on my PVR when I clicked on this post...
  24. Lisa Kudrow was on Conan last week and he said that he was approached and provided some of his background to the show because he was interested, and as far as he knew he descended from some farmers in Ireland. He joked that he never heard from them again. Lisa was like "well turns out you are descended from a bunch of farmers in Ireland." So I'm sure it's both - celebs who are curious and those who are approached but if there's nothing interesting, they're not going to show it. (also fun note, Conan stated the only thing his test showed was that he is 99.8% Irish)
  25. Okay, this episode may have been my favourite this season. The voicemail scene killllllled me. I love when the episodes end with the family together - tweeters will now go in the books with the hangover diner scene and the cinnamon rolls as one of my favs.
