Thinking a little more about Whoopi because she played the pity card this morning....she could care less about the viewers thoughts on her opinions but the media's opinions crush her. On Thursday Apatow hopefully will successfully put her in her place. I saw him on the Today Show this morning and Matt had no problem asking him about Cosby and Jason had no problem answering. ETA - remember when the fashion critic criticized an outfit she wore....and in 2011 when the NYT forgot to mention her Oscar? LMAO

They are all terrified of Whoopi.....with the exception of BW, imo. BW had to babysit Whoopi until she couldn't anymore - and exceeded her shelf life.

I sincerely hope this is the demise of Whoopi. Between her defense of powerful men, as well as her boobs and bodily functions I can't stand her. Plus, of course, her opinions and finger pointing - let alone her telling the audience she doesn't care what they think.

Does WG realize that she is the only person (that I have seen) standing up for Cosby? Or even understand statue of limitations? And OMG, Rosie was so upset this morning.....it really made me uncomfortable. 9 MINUTES! Plus I never believe fake tears....this time from WG and NW. Loved the Flamingos today.....but I just can't take WG's "nice" voice which fortunately we don't hear that often. So....Raven is the only "safe" one? I think the show needs to buy out WG....especially since Disneyworld removed the bust of Cosby. As I mentioned, WG is the only person to support Cosby. I can actually see Raven's hesitancy but no real support of him.

Well, I just watched after all the latest news....sigh So Whoopi gets to dance. Man, is she ever proud of herself these days! Frankly looks awful too. Since I've thought for years TPTB just don't understand what viewers want, they can't make any decisions. Even BW and BG. They brought in Jenny for fluff and then fired her for it. Then left....now they are going for fluff again - and in an election year? Can't believe they haven't had on or discussed Astronaut Wives on the show....I really like that new show. And on ABC to boot. So Raven is the only safe one? And 6-8 possible revolving fill-in co-hosts? Do they not realize many are sick of it after years and years? I need to face the fact that this will never be a thought provoking show again now that Meredith, Lisa, Joy, Star and Rosie O are gone and we're left with this batch and before Sherri and Jenny. Sorry....just had to vent a little.

There is an article in Variety regarding the revamping of the show next seson. They may replace Rosie and Nicolle - keeping Whoopi and Raven (WTH?). And have 6-8 rotating co-hosts. Hugh sigh. But may hire Michelle Collins. Obviously make it more pop culture and less political. They admit they are having a difficult time booking A-listers. I haven't been watching but do surf by and noticed no Rosie this week. Has she been on? They sure don't get it, do they? Hope someone can link for me....I saw it on their fb page.

He sailed though the chemo treatments, didn't lose his hair - even drove himself. It was in 1 lung and he did pass 6 years later. Jackie Kennedy Onassis had it as well, in her brain. I like Brook's attitude facing this and actually appreciate Vicki not hovering over him as he fights the battle. I have no use for Meghan but do think Shannon should have not have been so abrasive realizing it was the new gal that called her. Or even given her some tips in the spirit of a new friendship/co-worker while making it clear she worked on her own charities. Great to see Jeana. OTOH I am not feeling this season at all.

How odd - I seem to remember being taught the Constitution (Bill of Rights) 1st Amendment to be something about Congress should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or the press, or the right of the people to peacefully assemble, and to petition to the Government for a redress of grievances. So how can there be a War on Christianity Elisabeth....or any form of religion, or even not being religious? Would love to hear F&F tomorrow but fortunately I am on the west coast and sleep well tonight. If I can forget about Graham spouting the same thing hours later on this show.

BTW - whatever happened with Carole and Adam? We haven't seen him in a long time......
