  1. I get that, but for me it wasn't idiotic, it was Janine faced with 2 choices and once that became very clear to her, she kinda freaked about it. It was her 'Buridan's donkey' moment, one I've had myself, so I understood her conflicting feelings.
  2. Oh Hetty! 😭 Flower!!! ❤️ There was so much information in this episode, I think I still need to process. But damn, what an emotional rollercoaster ride it was. I think Carol is hoeing it up around the house with other ghosts. We'll find out when Nancy drops that she caught Carol going at it in the basement with one of the cholera guys. And it wasn't the first time, or the first guy. I wonder if Flower will be hurt that Thor slept with Carol too. I wonder how many times it will be brand new information for our sweet, forgetful girl. 😂
  3. I hollered for a solid 2 minutes when the cafeteria woman got pissed at Mr. Johnson and cleared the whole lunch table! I haven't seen The Bear either but it reminded me of every food comp show ever, except of course for the table clearing lol! I don't even care, I'm glad Janine is back at Abbott. Maybe in a few years she will decide she wants to do more but there is absolutely nothing wrong at all that she went back. She can keep her growth and still go back to teaching because that's where her heart is. And while she did great at the district fellowship, it was obvious through the messages from the children that she is an amazing teacher that these kids will remember for the rest of their lives. And that kind of impact in a child's life is priceless. So for me, her choice wasn't backwards and didn't erase any of her growth, I think it will make her an even better teacher. "She pregnant." "Look at her feet!" Never change, Ava and Mr. Johnson! 😂 And, I see you Gregory - that look of alarm that she might be carrying Tariq's baby. And then later during the dance party, they was doing some serious eye fucking. Gat damn, Quinta PULL THE FUCKING TRIGGER ALREADY. If there ain't some serious macking happening between them by the finale, Imma have some words. 😒
  4. THIS!! This is why the ghosts have felt obnoxious to me this season - because Flower has been absent. For all her wackiness, she is absolutely the sweetest of all the ghosts. I don't think there's a mean spirited bone in her body, and not having that character with the pure heart to offset the childish demands of the others has been felt by me. It just feels like Jay has been treated like the resident butt monkey this season, and I need for him to get a few wins before the finale.
  5. I really enjoyed Legend of the Lost Locket. The leads had nice chemistry and no one was irritating. The supporting cast was good, and I don't remember seeing any of them in other HM movies so if this was their first go-round, they did a good job. I liked Marcus's humor, I got a good chuckle when he saw Amelia running toward him to apologize, said 'No', and turned around lol. I don't watch When Calls the Heart so I wasn't familiar with the leads but I liked both and hope to see them in other movies in the future. And, no wonder Amelia's accent was good, the actress is actually British so good job, show. I'll definitely watch this one again.
  6. Isaac's bachelor party was GOLD, JERRY! GOLD!! I loved how the stripper wasn't at all phased by stripping to an 'empty' chair, he gets paid regardless lol. Oh, and Sam was into it too because at the end when she was in bed with Jay, she asked him to say the line from Crocodile Dundee in an Australian accent, like the stripper. I see you, Sam. 😉 Ok, it's past time for Jay to get some kind of huge win/gift from the ghosts. They seem to have forgotten how hurt he was when Sass was invading his dreams, and then to just let Saul jerk off onto him (hee hee 🤭) without asking. I really really need the ghosts to care about Jay and all that he does for them more than they're currently showing. Even his restaurant dreams had to take them into consideration so I need the ghosts to show up and show out for him in a big way. Huge way. Otherwise, for me, the show loses a bit of its heart if it's all just him giving in and being taken advantage of. It becomes mean spirited and then I will just want Jay to get the Hell away from all of them and go be happy because I'm rooting for him above everyone else at this point. 🤷🏽‍♀️
  7. Well I tried again to watch the new Hannah movie last night, and got annoyed all over again. What's the deal with the Norman dude and why is he emotionally cheating on his long term girlfriend with Hannah? Why does Hannah lead him on and rope him into helping her when she's completely aware of how he feels about her and knows he's supposed to be in a committed relationship with someone else? Someone that she apparently knows but doesn't give enough of a crap about to stop using her man? It doesn't in any way endear either character to me, it makes her look like a selfish asshole and extremely immature, and Norman looks like a trash ass man. I didn't think this was supposed to be Days of Our Lives for Hallmark. 😒 On another note, I'm looking forward to the new Curious Caterer movie. I like the Goldy character a lot.
  8. Antonio said he was 2 years younger and Lucy ran away with her boyfriend, so I don't think he knew about her having a child. I think he lived in Georgia then moved back to Puerto Rico for a while, then moved back to Georgia again. He mentioned he was a professor, so maybe teaching brought him back. I'm interested to know what his curricula is. I don't think Rowan knew her mom had made up with her brother, she didn't go inside the club, she was outside. From what I gather, she was angry about her brother not coming back for her and really hated how she had been raised. She mentioned not being allowed to say his name after he left. So I gathered that she didn't know her mother had had an epiphany after the car accident, and was just really emotionally damaged. The stepfather was a straight asshole and she blamed her mom for bringing that fuckstick into their home. She regretted it as soon as she did it because they made a big deal about the shooter using the judge's pashmina to try to stop the bleeding. I wouldn't think too much deeper about it than that lol. Oh! I almost forgot about Josiah, during the false confession and Angie said 'manila envelope' and Josiah said 'Oh, you do know how to pronounce it'. There were so many good things in this episode, I also completely forgot about Faith calling HR on Amanda and HR answering and knowing exactly who it was and what she was calling about! 😂
  9. Omg favorite episode so far! And I didn't even mind Ormewood and his French braid problems, BonBon for the win lol! Between the 'All Amanda's kids' car ride and the 'vanilla envelope' scenes, I was gasping for air, I laughed so damn hard. I would not at all mind the club characters making a return visit, they were fantastic. And the son trying to take the blame for his sister, he did not get any of the details right at all. When he yelled about his mom and her butch car choices, I hollered. The last scenes in the club were very well filmed because I wasn't at all sure someone wouldn't get hurt, so that was a nice tension. I teared up at the family dinner. Will has more people who care about him than he realizes and I love that for him. I'm still not over Cricket but this was really nice. I will definitely watch this episode again. Well done, high marks all around.
  10. I'm not a fan of the Hannah movies, I've tried multiple times to watch them but everyone just seems so immature for their actual ages and it's very annoying for me. I never liked Cameron Mathison as an actor so I decided to try the series again now that he's gone and Victor Webster is on board (I do like him), and I still couldn't get through the new movie. It feels like the writers are writing for 20-30 something aged characters and Alison is almost 50. So their actions and dialogue don't match with the real-life ages of the actors and that is throwing me completely out of the series. Victor's character was the only one who's demeanor matched their age for me. Now, I am 56 and as silly as they come, so it's not the humor. Hannah, her sister, and her mom all act like they're fresh out of college or something and the immaturity is just too glaring for me. On another note.....do the Hallmark movie channel programmers have some kinda side deal with the convicted criminal known as Lori Loughlin? Because they have been showing those damn Garage Sale movies like Lori has their kids tied up in her basement. 😒
  11. The SWAT scene was terrible but man, Ramon and Sonja were terrific. From Amanda's first expression when she saw the red dot on her, to Will ready to fight and yelling at them about who they was fuckin with, back to Amanda's expression when they slammed her face down on the ground and the fear and PTSD that had to come up for her. Bravo. Will and Amanda and Faith and even Paul Campano have layers. And I think therein lies my issue with Ormewood. He started off one dimensional and stayed that way. The writers are now trying to give him layers with his sad family life but it's much too late at this point for me. He's background noise and I wish he would stay there. When the GPD and GBI cases don't cross, I have no use for the regular cops. I wish they would restructure in S3 and drop them and just have the GBI stories.
  12. I didn't really enjoy the freeloader storyline tonight. I'm a little tired of the 'Sam and Jay get screwed over by terrible guests' plots. I get that they're supposed to be new in the B&B world but they're both intelligent adults, and the incompetence the writers choose to inject are getting a little tiresome. The last conversation with Jeremy before he left, he talked about being the only guest there the whole time. If this is supposed to be a consequence from Carol dying there and them losing business, I kinda wish they played those beats as well. I did enjoy the side stories. But, am I the only one who never believed Carole's apology back then? I felt like she was putting on an act because it was expected but she was actually an asshole. So I wasn't surprised by this behavior like others were because this feels like the real Carole to me. And she's just a terrible person. So she can get sucked down and join Elias. She could be his new Hell, constantly hitting on him. She is so not his type.
  13. Is it possible I care even less for Ormewood and his sad family than I did last week? Why yes, yes it is. His whole story just feels like an attempt to make him less of a caricature and it so not working for me in any way. It's actually making it worse because now I actively dislike his entire family - wife, kids, sister-in-law, the man who cheated with the wife, the mental health facility the wife ran to, the writers for subjecting us to this storyline, the episode director, the showrunners, hair & makeup, even the craft food service people. That is how much I dislike the Ormewood character. Like, I'm actively rooting for a sinkhole to open up and just swallow his whole house with everybody inside. No survivors. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I am also Team Amanda, all day every day. And her father was a piece of shit for telling her to hide it, and he should've been the one hunting that man down for what he did to his daughter. That man needed to be put down like the animal he was. And, if I'm not mistaken, didn't Faith help out a wrongly accused prisoner last season? Helped hide him from the actual murderer who turned out to be a cop? Faith, gurl, you need to get your ass up off your shoulders with that attitude towards Amanda. 😒
  14. I love Betty but yeah, I don't need her shoved into episodes constantly. I'll take more of Faith and Amanda over Betty any day though, since they can actually verbally spar with Will. If we're getting rid of characters to make room for more Betty though? Bye, Ormewood. I don't care about you or your sad wife. And, fuck them kids too. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I'd honestly be ok with them getting rid of both Ormewood and Angie. As someone stated above, it feels like 2 different shows, and when they aren't connected to the main mystery they feel completely irrelevant. I'm already tired of the teen girl that killed her mom's boyfriend popping up. I'm positive that coverup is gonna come back around, unfortunately. Who has the mother fucking balls to target Amanda?? Could James Ulster be involved somehow? I want to see Will affected by his surrogate mom being stalked, and for him to realize how much she loves him. It probably won't happen but, I want a real, loving hug between them. Ever since they showed Young Amanda picking baby Will up out of the brand new crib she bought for him and the utter look of love on her face, I have wanted to see them hug for real. I feel like that's a payoff the audience deserves but the show is holding it back. I did enjoy the humor in the B plot with the ex-wives. And, it actually did make sense to me since this show is set in Atlanta and one of the Real Housewives was set there for years as well. Given that they used Phaedra, I'm guessing that was the writers thoughts too. Atlanta has become a production site for Hollywood and of course Tyler Perry so I won't be surprised if there are other storylines that pull from that as well. I wonder if Will will tell Nico about his dyslexia. I could see Nico, in their capacity as Will's 'Albert', helping him find ways to learn to read better so he doesn't get so frustrated. He could still use his recorder for crime scene notes. And I absolutely loved Faith having Will's back and making him talk about the visions he's been seeing. And Will giving her compliments after pissing her off, they could do that more too lol! Almost forgot - I did call that the one guy was involved somehow from jump, with drugging the girl and her boyfriend. And, the NotDead guy was living in the woods and would end up being innocent.
  15. That open was GOLD, JERRY! I so wish they could give ensemble awards because these Abbott kids are perfection. The little girl that Ava blocked played that scene like a pro. The look on her adorable wee face, the arm out like, 'Did you just see what this grown adult did to me??' The kids clapping when Barbara made a basket for them, all the shots to the head the teachers took. I laughed so hard I almost asphyxiated. 😂 I'm so proud of our girl. She is taking charge and like Ava, she is that bitch. When she jumped in and did her CPR test after slipping in and out, kicked the dummy, dapped the teacher, and bounced? I felt like a proud parent, my chest got big ngl lol. Of course she remembers her CPR. If she'd been there when the instructor was quizzing them, she would've got everything right. Because that's not something she's gonna half-ass, ever. Like she said, shit ain't changed in 3 years, she got this. And, did Manny have a look when Janine mentioned she had to renew her CPR certificate in order to go back to teaching? I kinda felt like he might have been interrupting her on purpose, but to what end exactly? So that she stays at the district because she's doing well at the work, or because he wants to get with her? Or both? I get this feeling he's ambitious, and he's eyeing her like he wants her to be his power couple partner. If he did try to sabotage her certification, he can go all the way to Hell in his turtleneck and sports coat, do not pass Go. 😒 Their guest star game is very good. Hey Tatyana! You look good, hunni. Someone on Twitter suggested Yvette Nicole Brown as Barbara's younger sister and now I want that more than anything. I've seen panelists like that, lots of cliches with no substance. I loved seeing Ava loving on her Abbott family. They're a great group of teachers and even her vain self can see that. Jacob's new guy is also Dopinder the cab driver in the Deadpool movies.
  16. This was a great episode for me, all the plots were clicking. Melissa and Jacob becoming besties...Who knew? Like, that is a relationship we didn't know we needed. And I hope all the now off-kilter dynamics continue. Except, Mr. Johnson crying. We just not gonna stand for that, hands will be thrown. I'm so proud of Janine. She stood up to the person who is basically everything she ever wanted as a mom, and got the praise she deserved. And, ok Quinta, ha ha all the tender Janine/Gregory scenes, I see you. You can stop being cute now and let's get to the sexy times, ok? This slow-walking is some bullshit. 😒
  17. Yeah, I'm with Jay. And I have said since last season that Sam doesn't deserve him. She has relationships with 7 ancient demanding toddlers that Jay can't see. She's been known to lie to him and use the ghosts for her own selfish needs. It's always assumed that Jay is supposed to go along with their shenanigans, all while they spy on him, invade his dreams, and try to fuck his sister. I love the ghosts but Jay is the hero of this entire adventure, all day every day. I loved Pete and Hetty being Team Petty! And later when Hetty teamed up with Sass to find out what's in Carole's purse. I like seeing the ghosts in pairings we don't get as often. And Thor, reminding Pete about Alberta giving him the hand lol. Lots of really funny lines. And, if the restaurant is gonna be a new filming location, it makes sense to give the ghosts a table so they can sit and watch and make fun of the patrons instead of just having them stand around. Carole and her lying ass can get sucked up or down any time but I'm assuming it's gonna hinge on whether or not she truly owns up to her lies. It might be interesting if she stood on business and refused and then got snatched to Hell like Hetty's husband lol. I wonder if we will see Pete's daughter soon, and how she will react to her mom choking on a donut hole.
  18. I'd take more of Franklin, Kevin Daniels' character. He was Ormewood's partner in the S2 premiere while Angie was out, and I loved him calling Ormewood a bitch at the crime scene when he tried to order Franklin around. And, I could swear in the first season they mentioned that he was Angie's sponsor, so let's bring him into focus. I really can't stand the Ormewood character, he's just such a fuckin cliché. I wish they made him either happily married with no Angie baggage or gay because his current form is really irking my spirit.
  19. I KNEW she didn't get sucked off! Yay! She's was wandering around and fell in a well. That's such a Flower thing to do. Our own little Jessica McClure (for my GenX peeps 😉). When Jay walked in holding that shovel, I choke laughed so hard I actually hurt my own throat lol! Maybe Sam and Jay should tell that 'cool' couple that Sam can see ghosts. She would gain a whole bunch of cool points if it was me. And, I get their freak out but, after they found out Carol died of natural causes, they should love to know a couple that owns a house with such a long and kinda creepy history. I think that couple is one of those 'bored with everything, so you're gonna have to work hard to impress us' kinda people who aren't actually cool, they're supremely boring in fact. They didn't seem to have anything interesting to talk about, even with each other, until they found Carol. I laughed a lot at this episode, and I'm anxious to see who finds Flower. Hey, if she's that far away from the house, maybe she's close enough to the neighbor house where Thor's son is, and he's the one that hears her and ends up telling Thor. 😁
  20. He played Carlos Solis on Desperate Housewives. He was Eva Longoria's husband.
  21. It appears that the councilman knew she was pregnant but the wife only recently found out he was the father. The councilman found her at the safe house and stupidly brought her to his home, I think because he didn't know his wife was the one trying to kill her. I assume when the husband brought her to his home, he and the wife started having it out. So, the wife was distracted by her cheating husband while the young woman began going into labor. And that's when Will and Faith showed up, and the wife didn't have time to kill the pregnant girlfriend so she took out her cheating bastard husband. Of course she wanted to be First Lady so she was willing to overlook his infidelity but she couldn't have his mistress and baby running around to possibly throw a wrench into her plans. I enjoyed Will's back and forth with the pastor - I wish he didn't have a felony murder hanging over his head. I would have enjoyed seeing them continue to spar while Will was also getting a form of therapy from their interactions. So I guess this is the season we shouldn't get attached to any new people (except Angie's damaged teenagers because of course she gets to keep hers so they can pop up for storyline purposes because we can never get enough of her chaos 😑) because the show is just gonna send them to jail or blow them up. 😒 Which is really too bad because they could lift Ormewood right out. He's a total cliché and maybe I shouldn't but, I expected better from the writers. I don't care about him in any way and consequently I don't care about his home life. He could just be Angie's partner that we see every once in a while, he gets a few lines and then goes away for the rest of the episode. The last thing I want is either Faith or Amanda to be sidelined for his sorry ass character that's a dime a dozen on every cop show ever. I really loved the end, with Will and Amanda 'just sitting'. I imagine she was remembering finding him when she was asking about how it felt to deliver the baby, which, that was intense and Ramón did a wonderful job conveying Will's emotions. I know it may not be in their character but, I would love to see a hug between Will and Amanda. Hell, I'll take any kind of affection between them - a pat on the arm, squeezing of a hand, anything at all honestly. Because Sonia is absolutely playing Amanda as still loving Will and considers herself his surrogate mom. I hope Will realizes and accepts that they are family, and he has someone outside of Angie who loves him.
  22. I am so not here for Angie collecting children like some fucked up Pied Piper. If they were gonna bring back the girl that killed her mom's pedo boyfriend, then they should've have Angie being a sponsor to an actual grown up. But I don't think Angie is even ready to be a sponsor since her own sobriety is still so fragile. They should've shown her with her own sponsor, talking about what she's going through not being able to work. Isn't Franklin her sponsor? I'll take more of Kevin Daniels onscreen, please and thank you. I was afraid that teen girl would be back. And she's honestly not needed. If they're trying to explore Angie's damage, they could just have her dealing with the decision she made to take responsibility for killing him and leave the girl and her mom out of it. I want to see more Faith and Will+Faith and Will+Amanda. I'm tired of Angie's issues, just send her to a pyschiatrist already. She would surely have to be seeing one in order to get back on the force considering the trauma she went through by being abducted and beaten by a serial killer. I may have to stop watching this in real time so I can FF her storyline because I have no interest in Angie and these teenagers whatsoever. I'm side-eyeing the writers thinking the audience really cares that much about Angie having her own storylines. I know I don't. 🤷🏽‍♀️
  23. The actress that played Hadley's mom is BJ Harrison. She's been in a lot of supporting roles for various Hallmark movies. The guy that got tackled was a papp. We first see him when Hadley is leaving her agent's office when she talks about him getting pics from her left side, and we find out later that her agent paid him to follow Hadley back to Colorado to keep taking pics of her to keep her in the news. I finally got to watch this as I missed it last Friday, and I enjoyed it. I liked all the characters, including her kids. They weren't too overly bitchy or too precious and I loved the daughter's super short haircut, you don't see that often on these shows. I also liked seeing Hadley in her turban because we don't usually see Black hair care onscreen either. This is one I would watch again.
  24. I think anything is possible as far as how Sass discovered his power. Could've been part of his tribal lore, or maybe he was watching a living sleep and suddenly found himself inside their dream and interacting with them. As he began to do it more, he realized he could sometimes influence them. Or, his gift grew over time. Its had over 700 years to evolve. Oh! Sass can help Jay with the ghost handbook via his dreams! Sass is a fountain of information and I think it would be really nice if Jay was able to find out things about the ghosts that Sam doesn't even know. And both she and Pete get kinda jealous and have to learn how to share. Sass is a storyteller, and I think Jay would absolutely love hearing him weave tales from the house's history and be completely enthralled. Sam would be all bitchy about why Sass never came to her dreams and he tells her duh, they can just talk but actually she's kinda boring and self absorbed and Jay is a way better listener. 🤷🏽‍♀️😁 The important thing for me is that this opens up all kinds of story potential now, for everyone. This is really gonna be fun.
  25. As someone who may or may not be a regular smoker, Janine most definitely would NOT still be under the influence the next day. One of the entire reasons for medical weed is for a lot of folks with anxiety, which Janine has in spades precisely because she's an orderly person. Folks who 'go with the flow' are usually not anxious people, it's those of us who do like 'order' who get anxious when things aren't 'orderly'. So the weed helps quiet her mind and settle that anxiousness. I highly doubt she's at home by herself blowing huge clouds of smoke with Cheech and Chong-sized doobies in rotation. Honestly, she could take 2 or 3 hits of a cone and put it out and be done. No different than somebody taking something to help them sleep, and less side effects than Ambien. 🤷🏽‍♀️
