  1. OMG -- What about Thomas asking Kathryn is she was "ready for a third one?" I. have. no. words. At least her answer was, "I'm ready for a ring." To which he says to Kensie, chuckle, "You thought that was funny, too?" (azz hole)
  2. Sure he's aimless now that he’s on TV – but was Craig interested in TV before this show came along? Did he seek it out to make it happen? Or did he happen to know Shep, who was asked through Whitney to be on the show and someone suggested Craig and he said, “sure, why not?”
  3. This entire episode was full of a whole lot of BS. Speaking about the event, Craig said he thought he had everything set up and organized before he left for L.A. I wondered exactly "WHAT" he thought he'd organized. Because the launch didn't look that big to me. It looked like a side event flop, to me. If J.D. himself was there setting up then Craig didn't do squat. J.D. called someone else and asked them to do it. And it looked like it was thrown together at that….like the launch at the race may have been planned, but the actual launch LOGISTICS were practically an afterthought. J.D. is definitely trying to use the exposure on the show to his benefit as much as he can. But since producers have the say on filming skeds and edits he can't get but so much mileage out of it.
  4. We must not be seeing the same person. I haven't seen anything yet to make me think Kathryn "adores" her kids. To be honest, sometimes her actions convey that she wishes she HADN"T gotten pregnant, twice. I also think she'is passive aggressive at times. She's pulled some disappearing acts, and in proviso seasons cut off contact for all of,uh, 1/2 an episode. 2) IF, Landon were Shep's "type, he might have pursued a "relationship: with her. But she's not, AND she has nothing to offer in the challenge department. So she really does just need to forget hooking up with Shep. Cameron and Elizabeth are the only two women on this show who know how to keep a man? Geez. Kathryn didn't know how to closed the deal with Thomas, Landon can't get Shep's attention. These women are pathetic….no wily ways at all. Naomie has Craig, but he's not the man he could be. So even she clearly doesn't know how to turn her man into a winner. I'm not talking about women wringing their hands over a cauldron, Lady Macbeth style, scheming and planning all kinds of machinations to manipulate her man like a marionette -- but a woman worth her salt should know how to combine the use of her "charms" with a little "psychology" to her benefit. 3) OMG, pasdetrois, I'm with you 100%!…on J.D., Kathryn, and the lot of them.
  5. I'd bet most people in the country have never been to L.A. Craig's issue is not that he's never traveled. It's that he has no direction for his life. He's like a lost man-child, a leaf floating along on the breeze of life. AND he mumbles. AND doesn't exude any kind of confidence or ambition. To be honest, sometimes he comes off as being afraid of his own shadow. Two episodes ago he wanted to lead a bourbon division. Now he's talking about how working for J.D. never was supposed to be his forever, so it may be time to move on. Ugh. Another problem is that Craig being younger -- ACTS younger. He doesn't act mature. Whitney's comment about Craig not being as "amusing" as he once was. Who the hell is Whitney -- the rich, privileged bum, who'll inherit the money his mom married into -- to talk about being "amused" by someone in that manner? If Craig had any 'manhood' he'd set Whitney and Shep straight, and earn some respect. But Craig's such an immature doormat -- he KNOWS they feel superior to him -- and he ACCEPTS it. I'm done with Kathryn and Thomas. She says Thomas is cares. Uh Sweetie, he left you in a coffee shop to meet with a decorator. And I sure hope I never hear him say again, that he cares about Kathryn. Because it'e empty words. And it's really just babble.
  6. 1) The child's father speaks Spanish so HE can speak to her in Spanish and she'd learn it 2) Does Jules want the nanny to TEACH the child Spanish -- or SPEAK to the child in Spanish -- which is two different things. If all she's doing is speaking to the child in Spanish. I'm sure the nanny should do that. -- NOthing you say to a toddle is so deep or complicated that the nanny wouldn't know that or have that level of conversation with the child. That nanny's Spanish was more than conversational enough for any things she'd say to the child -- who she wouldn't be intimidated by when speaking -- where as she likely did feel intimidated by Jules and her husband in an interview situation. 3) I'm over Jules. Done with her. Her "enough with the Spanglish" was a very ignorant thing to say. And came off in a very "I'm superior," manner. Who the hell is she to look down on people? Bring back Aviva and Heather!
  7. 1) All I wanted to say to Bethenny was FU biotch. WHY won't someone stand up to this woman (because they'd be off the show?) OK so Tipsy Girl is sort of like Skinny Girl. I suppose there should be no American Broadcasting Company because there was a National Broadcasting Company first? 2) WHY -- unless there's already an assault taking place -- can't cast members on this show just call security to kick people out of their parties -- and let THEM handle any eviction.
  8. I noticed that too. Now I'll have to see if she ALWAYS does that. It's like the hug you do…with people: -- you're not thrilled about, but OK I'll hug you, sort of (you might think when you see them, "Oh, God, here we go." -- that you know have bad breath or hygeine -- who are a little took huggy….you want a hug and quick release, and they want the kiss and longer hug -- or if you have touch issues, because of some less than pleasant experience. -- Or It could just be how she was raised. 2) I'd say Kathryn sure as hell can lie to get what she wants. If she led Whitney on, and used him -- then thats lying of a sort. Not verbal but I think she certainly verbal lies as well ((Help please: why is my space bar "double spacing?' - but when I TYPE the end of the line wrapped around to regular single space? How do I change the space bar to single spacing? thanks)
  9. I know. Thomas has NO game at all. What on earth would make that girl want to get with a drunk old guy, fawning and TRYING to feel all over her. NO girl with any self respect falls for that, or finds that attractive. Yuck Thomas. And it's sad because Thomas -- if he would grow the fuck up, could be an attractive catch. But who wants to be with a 50-year-old frat boy? Yeah I caught that.Hey, maaaaybe she's got us all fooled and she's not as "lost" and "unskilled" as she comes off. And I have no problem with her comment about Kathryn working on her back. It's true she did. THAT is funny. Thank you so much….for cracking me the fuck up.
  10. Craig is a gopher assistant, who makes phone calls and does JD's office work. I haven't seen ANYthing that makes me think that even on the hotel/construction/hospitality side of things that Craig has done ANYthing other than coordinate something, whatever that something might be. OK, so he calls the construction site and then relays to JD whatever the GC might have said. Or he finds out what time a delivery is supposed to arrive -- and reminds JD about that or some meeting he might have -- "don't forget you wanted to call XYZ today." So…JD asks when the last time some item was ordered so Craig will look that up. Or JD might want to refresh his memory about the costs of a project -- and tell Craig to work up the numbers on something or other. So Craig does the grit work of pulling up and putting together all the numbers in one chart or report for JD to look at. But it's JD who's still making all the decisions. JD just doesn't want to MAKE the calls and do the minutia work anymore. He wants some one ELSE to make the call for him -- and say "Joe is on line two." Then the big man will pick up the phone. I've seen nothing to make me think CRAIG is the one actually making ANY decisions about ANYthing. or has been given the authority to do so. I don't what makes anyone think JD is REALLY interested in giving Craig any decision making power at all -- on anything. I know -- from what I've seen on TV anyway -- I wouldn't trust him or order coffee. Look at the bourbon tasting….emailing friends? THAT is how you invite people to a tasting which could also be seen as a pre-launch event for a new brand? Email the show's other cast mates and a few friends? TRUE…JD wanted a small gathering. Because they're not ready to launch, yet. But still. Also, a person can ORGANIZE an event -- and not RUN the event. Happens all the time. My friends who organize/plan their company's booth/presentation at a trade show….don't RUN the presentation once their at the show. They're still the grunt people -- there, in the background making sure everything runs smoothly. But not the presenters. So I saw no problem at all with Craig PLANNING the tasting and not being in charge at the actual event. And it should have been better planned. That's another thing that shows Craig doesn't know what he's doing. It looked -- on TV -- as if no one knew how the event would proceed or what was happening or what had actually been planned.
  11. What does that even mean? Is the company privately held? LLCs inside LLCs or a true corporation.? And even if it is.... I get the impression everyone of the board would be a relative or close friend of JD all with minor interests. And I don't see JD giving up any REAL percentage of his company to Craig…operations or profits. Now if a one percent interest is worth all that Craig paid him PLUS more the Craig would "work off" -- more power to JD. Why not just HIRE Craig? What's with all the "buy in" crap? Buy in to get WHAT exactly? OMG….Let's get real. Does anyone REALLY see JD giving Craig any real responsibility and letting him takeover ANY "division" of his company? He met this kid through a TV show. He's seen how Craig is. They're young, of course. but JD has his own children, and I'm sure he has other family members. The company seems to be privately held, or close to it. Craig isn't going to be running $#!t. The entire idea of that is ludicrous. IMO
  12. How about Craig show some self motivation and do some research on bourbon in general. Show some hustle -- and impress JD with some initiative. Most bosses like it when they have a go-getter for a gopher. They enjoy having a mini-me. It feeds their ego. Craig should become JD's mini me, gopher, right hand man. And have stuff for him before he even asks. Good luck Landon. Travel sites with roam int he title are already taken. But I'm sure she can some up with something that's not taken. Like I said I wish you luck with that.
  13. Thank you. I've been asking since day one -- WHAT did Craig get for 15K. WHAT did he really pay for? Looks like he paid J.D. for the "right" to work for him. The first 15K Craig makes will just be getting back the 15K he laid out. JD ought to be ashamed of himself. And I can't/ stand/ it. when Craig MUMBLES! I couldn't even understand what he was saying when he was talking to Naomie -- heck I couldn't make out half of what he said the entire episode. Stop mumbling. Damn. Craig doesn't come off and present himself as a go-getter. THAT is his problem. Some people you just look at them for a while, observe them for just a few times in given situations -- and you can tell they're going places. Craig doesn't show anyone he's got anything to offer them. He's deamn lucky JD did agree to let him be a gopher for him. At least he'll get to see how a hustler (in the good sense of the word) gets things done and becomes a success.
  14. I don't feel any empathy or sympathy for any of these people: 1) They ALL drink too much. And have been a hot mess from the start. So why else is new. 2) No sympathy for Jessica because she's a bitch who pushed Mike to get married in the first place. Any marriage that goes bust in 6 months had to have problems before hand. So bye-bye bitch. 3) If anything I feel sorry for MIKE, because he doesn't' seem to know who he is at his core. And that IS sad, when a person has no TRUE self awareness. 4) No sympathy for Adam because I have not time for door mats. 5) I AM surprised Asa is going along with the surprise wedding idea. How could she be so "off" about this when she supposedly talks to them both every day. 6) GG -- I just don't know what to say. Same for Reza, but for a different reason. 7) MG is also a bit lost. Now she's in love with a new guy. Heck she was in love with the last guy. Why can she never meet any one with any class. Why are they always "rough around the edges?" 8) Disappointed that Bobby and Asifa are together, but they're the ones who have to put up with each other…Bobby just escape already... 9) Asa and Shervin seem to be the most grounded, and …..??normal?? 10) It was tacky to see the way Asa's caftans were packaged…just stuff into a mailer. How about a box with some tissue paper and a special tag enclosed. How about some presentation Asa? So a person could think about sending one as a gift….that someone might be thrilled to open?
  15. So far I want more Luann and Sonja. I know they're still working Jules into the mix, but I could take or leave her I liked Heather. It's a shame she left because she could really give it to Bethenney -- which I would love to see. Beth is a bit to smug for me. Like she's the Alpha HW or something. For the life of me I don't get Beth and Carole talking about how thin Jules is, then they are just as thin. I've always marveled that Carole has NO boobs. So where she gets off talking about Jules I'd love to know. And Bethenney just needs to STFU. I know Andy may think Bethenney brings in viewers, but I'm sick of her. I didn't even watch this past week's show on its initial night. I forgot it was on. That's how little I care about the season so far.
  16. Damn that's all they get? I was thinking they get 20-25K per show. But OK if she gets 50K a year, and her parents make 50K each -- that's still 150K for their household. If if the three of them make 40K each…120K is still not pocket change. They're adults and ought to know how to make that work. 120K in the Charleston area is nothing to sneeze at. Union people also get paid damned well, many times. IF they retired maybe should have kept working. A lot of people can technically retire, but if financially the numbers don't work, They don't retire. Of course, they could retire from one job, and get another. Military, police and fire personnel do it all the time. ((also depending on how a pension is structured if you have 30 years in but are still below a certain age it could be reduced). Bottom line is if you really can't "afford to retire" you either keep working, or….. retire on a reduced pension and get a second salary…double dip so to speak. I just roll my eyes at all the talk of Katherine's family not having any money. If mom and Dad could use some more money. SHE sure isn't' doing any thing to help them. Don't know how old you are…but just FYI…. you may very well retire in your 50s. But you won't be able to get REDUCED Soc Sec until at least 62. SO you won't be double collecting anything until then. AND if you don't keep working until 62 the lower your Soc. Sec will be because you won't be working to put anything into the system.
  17. Depending on when they had her they could still only be in their 50s. Unless they're BOTH on disability, they'd better still be working. So they can fix their shutters….. Besides, Katherine is getting paid for being on the show…I'd imagine at least 250K a season. Why doesn't she stay at home with the parents fix up the house and they can all live there. That kind of money goes a long way in Charleston. It's not she's living in NYC or San Fran.
  18. We don't know how much money Katherine's family may have. They could have it and choose not to spend it on the house. There are stories, quite often about, people being found in a house in disrepair….but having millions, or tens-of-thouands in cash in the house or in the bank. They are being presented on this show as not having as much as TRav, but I certainly have seen nothing to make me believe they don't have any money or are broke to the point where they can't fix the shutters on their house, if they wanted to. Can someone dig up what they do for a living? whether they've ever worked?
  19. Kensie was born in March 2014, the same month the show premiered. So clearly Thomas and Katherine met before June of 2013.
  20. Age of consent in SC is 16. Given that TRav was not the first person Kathryn slept with, I'd hardly say she was barely legal at 21 nor that she was some naive girl that he took advantage of. Kathryn knew exactly what she was doing. She just didn't play her cards right, and wasn't able to get Thomas to commit. She misjudged Thomas' character and feelings for her. Which still doesn't make her naive. Her mistake was wanted a true loving family relationship with him. Instead of from the the get-go deciding to be a baby-mama for the money (perhaps for now and see if he'd come back to her after his cavorting). I think she could get the money out of Thomas -- IF she knew how to play him. But she's made missteps in how to maneuver him from the very start. IF she weren't pressuring him for a FAMILY and white picket fence, and would act mature about it, he might give her much more (for the kids of course.) But you can't piss the man off, pressure him and expect him to shower you with everything you want. That's true whether it's their relationship or any other. Hasn't she heard the saying (Southern I think) "You get more flies with honey (or sugar), than you do with vinegar." NO ONE you piss off from Thomas, to a store manager to a boss is going to give you want you want -- if you piss them off or pressure them. 2) As for whether Kathryn is gorgeous she's so pale, and so red-headed… and sometimes people with that coloring can look ghostly. It's "striking" but "striking" isn't always good. (You can be striking and ugly as dirt. Striking can be like saying "interesting" when you don't like something). She's pretty enough, I guess. Personally I wouldn't say she's gorgeous. But what people find attractive is a very individual thing. 3) Even if Kathryn's family may have had more money in the South's past, glory days. I don't think they're broke now. I don't think her family has NO money. I just think that's so overblown and exaggerated. I just don't believe it. Unless her parents are living off their two $600 a month Soc Sec. Disability checks, or choosing between getting their medications or food, I don't want to hear it. I think they've still got plenty of money. Maybe just not as much as TRav. I doubt both her parents are over 60. They'd better be working somewhere! And if they are working I doubt it's for minimum wage. They could have good state or government jobs, or working for some friend's company. I doubt they're having trouble paying the light bill. I'm actually sick of hearing about how much money they may not have. Craig's family may not have TRav or Shep money either but other than Shep confronting Craig about him not being able to not work, like Shep doesn't' have to, not much has been made or talked about with it comes to Craig's family "not having money." They ALL DO have money. NO ONE on this show is hurting. Are they all third generation wealthy so they don't have to work? No. So I have no sympathy for any of them. IF your family money can't support the lifestyle you want, then get a frigging job. Shep and Whitney are not exactly the caliber of people I'd want my kids to emulate anyway.
  21. ITA. I don't even know you, why would i reach out to your to say "I don't like what you wrote. You take it back?" What I WOULD do is see if what was said is libelous or defamatory, and therefore actionable in any legal way. Bur for me to reach out to her -- because "she talked about me" -- seems a little high schoolish to me. SO I can see Kathryn not doing that. If we meet, and IF the circumstance arises where it has to be addressed, then believe me I'd have my say…just like Kathryn was going to confront her at the luncheon. But UNlike Kathryn when Faye asked if I had something to say….I'd have let her have it. So I'm not on Team Kathryn when it comes to that.
  22. Help me. What has Yolanda said that's sooo outlandish, or sooo exaggerated….given the nature of how different some symptoms can manifest -- that people question her or believe she's embellishing to the point of lying about it? I just don't see that such doubt directed toward her is warranted…she says 18 months instead of year-and-a half…or she posts a picture showing some activity, yet says she wasn't feeling well, she says she' has hasn't walked.. in a give time….when I say I didn't walk all last summer. I don't mean I literally didn't walk. at. all. I mean I walked once…OK…so once isn't never…..that means a person should be tarred and feathered?? And When Lisa VP said she never calls Lisa R. Has no one in life ever said I never do something when of course they TECHNICALLY might do it once or twice. And Lisa VP right in the moment did clarify herself to say OK almost never. Do we really need to pick apart every damn thing a person says. If I say I never see a co-worker for example. No, I don't mean I NEVER see her. Once a year IS close enough to never to me. So when Lisa VP says she never calls Lisa R and then when questioned OK once or twice is that really that big a deal? Not every technical untruth is an embellishment worth calling out as a lie. Jeez.
  23. At this point I wish Yolanda would tell everyone who questions her about her illness and accuses her of exaggerating her symptoms or condition to kiss her ass. Having known two people with MS and another with fibromyalgia -- two illnesses that -- like Lyme Disease are very individual in how they manifest themselves and affect each person -- I'd tell them to go F off some where. Who is anyone else to question how another person feels or describes their illness. Or question what they say about how they get "brain fog" or "how long the couldn't get out of bed" or to say "well you looked well in that picture you took on the boat?" Well. maybe that's because she was feeling good that day. That has nothing to do with the her not feeling well enough to get dressed at some other time. Let one of these other bitches come down with Lyme Disease or something that's hard to pin down in terms of how symptoms ebb and flow….or when they strike. Would they feel someone else has the right to question them about it? Some times you can feel an fatigue episode coming and you still can't do anything about it. It has to run it's course. These women are woefully ignorant -- and arrogant to boot.
  24. My, my this board is hoppiing! Can someone explain to me (if there a reason other than Lisa Rinna being a bitch) -- why there's even any debate about who starting and continued the Munchausen questions about Yolanda. It was clearly Lisa RInna. Also, Lisa VP was NOT the major force behind the questions about whether the kids had Lyme Disease. Lisa VP if I recalled correctly is not the one who prolonged the questions about that either. Kyle asked Lisa VP, knowing that she knows MOhammed, "well what does Mohammed say?" And Lisa answered, saying 'No.' Kyle, pressing the issue, said "so he said they don't have it?" And it was then, after being asked twice about it that she said, :he says they're fine. Shae also might have "he says they don't have it." But in neither of these cases, talking about Munchausen or the kinds having Lyme Disease -- Lisa Lisa VP start it, OR press the issue. I also think it's clear that even time it was brought up she was obviously uneasy about talking about it. I think she does feel it's not for her to talk about…not Yolanda's illness or the kids. She may have taken part in conversations. But her comments were short. She didn't embellish. And I think it's clear is always said, "I don't know about Yolanda I only know what she says and or Mohammed says." I don't know whether Lisa VP is trying to stay above it all or what. But if I were her I'd be all in Lisa Rinna's shit for trying to say I started it. Oh. hell. to. the. no. 2) I'm not sure how intelligent these women are. Anyone who knows anything at all about Lyme Disease, and some auto-immune diseases knows the symptoms can be very individual. How can they NOT know that LD is an illness where you CAN be fine one day and flat on your back on another day? So what she posted pictures of her on a boat. That doesn't' mean she's exploiting her illness. These women are a piece of work. 3) And just because David -- from what we saw -- didn't care for Yolanda 24/7 by himself, doesn't' mean he wasn't a caregiver. No one ever said he sat by her bedside all day and all night. We don't know how much he actually took care of her. I have no problem with Yolanda saying David was "a" caregiver. Because chronic illness does take a toll on BOTH parties in a marriage.
  25. Yep. All party planners in this day and age need to have some stipulations in contracts about who gets to use promotional pictures of his events. Those kinds of things are agreed to all the time. Which to me would be a telling sign about people's priorities and values. Money spent on a ring has nothing to do with loving a person and being able to provide for them. If a person normally shops at a given price point that's one thing. But to intentionally set a price point about a ring having to cost xxx amount of money is beyond shallow. (Not that that is what was implied. Just my opinion on it) Reminds me of the immaturity of being more concerned about how BIG the stone is versus the love of the person giving you the damned ring. My thought is if she comes from money she doesn't need Craig to buy her an impressive ring. I'd be more concerned about the love he has more me than the material possession of a ring. Personally, I've seen $50.00 rings I love….and $1,500 rings I didn't like. It's not about the money. That's whatI thought. You likely had to pay to be on the grounds. It's interesting to see speculation go waaay off somewhere. when an explanation could be quite simple and is likely just routine.
