  1. I can't be angry at JMo when the show gave her little reason to stay.
  2. I don't understand how this relationship is going to work. Regina is an entirely different person who, imo, sounds more like Emma. I think they may have even originally written the role for JMo before she turned them down. I am guessing even if they don't actually kill Emma off, they'll have Henry think she is dead to act as a reason why he would have a motherly relationship with a woman not ten years older then him? Theyre betting a lot on West and Parilla having a strong platonic chemistry, especially given that his love interest is about the same age as his cursed mom. The relationship between Emma and Mary-Margaret worked, in part, because same sex friendships are common and with two straight characters you're unlikely to to have shippy moments. And Ginny and JMo were friends even before the show began..West and Parilla just meet. IMO there is a reason Emma didn't spend too much time around cursed David.
  3. I think finding a community of like minded people through fandom and the acts of projecting your fantasies on fictional characters or using fictional characters as a temporary escape saves peoples lives. I don't believe people regained the will to live by watching the Frozen arc. The show is just a medium through which people found other ways to cope. To attribute saving your life to it is giving it too much credit and yourself not enough.
  4. Henry is the lead in name only. His character will just be used to introduce Cinderella 2 as the new heroine and to link her with Regina. He'll quickly become the love interest to Cindy imo.
  5. I would quit the show. By the end of season 6 Emma was the only I could stand any longer. Everyone else has been completely ruined.
  6. You would think he would have had this conversation with somebody else who was also not featured in the story books and felt left out because of it? Like, I don't know, Emma? First scene into the seventh season and Emma absence already feels glaring. And why is he talking about the books like they're new. Didn't he find them in season 4? Regina was there for that.
  7. Yeah, there is so little interest in the show even in the fandom. I only see a few people in the spoilers tag and most of them are Rumbellers who are excited the Emilie is going to guest. Is this what season seven is going to be like, people barely being excited about the show unless a past cast member guests? Should have ended in season 6.
  8. I don't believe they always intended to redeem Regina. I think they fell into it when the character was more popular than they imagined she would be. To keep her on the show they had to redeem her, so that's what ended up happening. In the first season redemption isn't a theme like it becomes later on. In Regina's case, the idea of her going "good" doesn't even get mentioned before season 2.
  9. They look like a family. I wish we could have had just the three of them (and maybe some CS children eventually) sailing around the world, helping fairytales for the last season.
  10. I often wonder what would have happened to Regina if Emma never came to town. 28 years of winning did nothing to curb her desire for revenge and she was essentially immortal under the curse. Would she force Henry to stay when he was an adult? Would she eventually murder him or lock him up with Belle or would he run away? Would she continue to adopt more and more children? Maybe there would be a different little Cora or Henry for every generation that passed under the curse. Cursed Storybrooke is a horror story waiting to happen.
  11. I liked Zelena much more then Belle too. I just feel that Belle was done dirty. She had no heroic or even noteworthy moments since 6B started (I cant remember any in 6A either but I am sure there had to be something). Zelena at least got to mow the Black Fairy down with her car. Emilie had been on the show as a regular since season 2, and the Final Battle was possibly her last episode and they couldn't even throw her in a hope speech? I don't care for Belle or Rumbelle really so in that regard it doesn't bother me, but for the actress it seems cold.
  12. However, Jared's already been back on set and it remains to be seen if Bex and Emilie will return at all. Firing Jared is necessary in a story focused on an adult version of his character so, for me, it doesn't feel like a personal slight as it did with Bex and Emilie. They obviously like the character he had a hand in creating enough to centre the reboot around him. They wrote Belle and Zelena into the ground, gave the actresses nearly nothing to work with and then declined to have them continue on the show as soon as the opportunity came about. If I were Emilie especially, I would not be very happy with A&E.
  13. I love that episode. It's one of my favorites from an admittedly bad season. I guess that's why it's an unpopular opinion though, right? Rumple isn't that smart, and I liked Anna's earnestness beating out Rumple's smug arrogance. Anna was a Mary Sue especially in White Out but The Apprentice confrontation felt more befitting for fairy tales which are often moral tales.
