  1. Was trying to figure out where I've seen the lead, then when I saw the name, I was like, holy crap it's V from Shameless! With a much better wardrobe lol
  2. lol, of course he's hoping for a settlement, his alimony was cut off at least a year ago, his house went into foreclosure and was put up for sale in July for $1.3 million. So I guess it's safe to say he's broke, I don't see how he scored a major victory, the case wasn't dismissed as the defendants requested so it can now go to trial. He won't see any money until the case is over or if there's a pre-trial settlement agreement. In the meantime, he's still broke.
  3. Well, she's not in control of her $$ and I think that's all he's interested in. But i wouldn't doubt Wendy would be interested. She is just so lost and desperate that I think she'd welcome Kelvin back to take care of her.
  4. ^ I think you mean Christina Haack El Moussa Anstead Haack Hall. 😉
  5. Sharina has left Kelvin?? Color me shocked. 😝 He really didn't think this through did he? Thought he could continue his lavish lifestyle with luxury cars, million dollar house, and just live off alimony for the rest of his life? I'm sure he got a lump sum too, what happened to it? Apparently he didn't read the fine print that said if her income stops, so does the alimony. Not one iota of sympathy for this arrogant asshole.
  6. Hilary has worn many hats, but she is most certainly a designer. wikipedia Hilary Farr
  7. ^^ Did she ever stop? Maybe, when she was in rehab. Now they say she's in the hospital, but NOT rehab, was let out for a day (probably against medical advice), then re-admitted the next day. Granted, she has other legit medical issues but I didn't think anything life-threatening. But she might just be drinking and drugging herself to death. I guess it's a good thing someone is looking after her money but too bad there is no one looking after her mental/health wellbeing. She's never going to work again.
  8. I agree, not only Andrew, they are all very likeable this time around and I can't help but think there is some coaching/script involved. But also, during regular Jeopardy, there's not much time for that since they don't exactly have a chance to bond--for 2 players it's one and done. These players have all had time to get to know each other.
  9. It didn't occur to me at first when she had her hair up, but when she let it down I thought she looked a LOT like Geena Davis in Beetlejuice.
  10. I thought the overtalking today was really obnoxious. So the writers are away the mice will play?
  11. The RtB swings were the first thing I thought of too. Maybe I should take this to their thread, (which I don't watch often) but I'll try to keep it brief. Hot tubs are another thing that didn't go over well on RtB but she still seems to like them. And slides for the kids. The last thing that really bugged me was a vented pizza oven built into the wall in the kitchen. I don't know about anyone else, but if I handed over $180k for renovations, they better be damn sure I wanted a pizza oven in my kitchen. Which I don't. No to the hot tub too.
  12. I just watched, and she called that area their "breezeway" to the bedroom. I didn't see any furniture just the dark gray paint and the massive barn door. You'd think they could put a couple chairs and a small table for a sitting area. *shrug* I had the same thoughts about this woman--she works on Wall Street, social media influencer who fixes houses on long weekends and now films a tv show? Riiiight. No way she works full time at that Wall Street job. Also, she could pass for Tarek's new wife so maybe she could film his show too.
  13. I think Wendy's "reality" might be too scary for the average viewer. Or boring. Who wants to watch her walk around burping and farting, putting hot sauce all over her food, chugging vodka from a bottle and saying "how you doin'?"
  14. Stopped in to see what people were saying about Brian - I usually don't get too worked up about contestants and their quirks but that guy just rubbed me the wrong way, his demeanor, air of superiority and omg esp those fist pumps!!!! It just seems like poor sportsmanship to be patting yourself on the back every time you get a DD or answer correct. The Hitler thing never crossed my mind and really still doesn't, I thought he was more like a Mr. Belvedere type, the butler with an attitude on a mediocre sitcom lol. But it's a shame he was treated that way on SM. and I say this as someone who wasn't exactly a fan.
  15. Tai in the mirror - I was expecting her to turn into Bob from Twin Peaks.
  16. Ugh. I don't think I can even hate watch this anymore. Especially for an hour. Spare me the New Adventures of New Christina 2.0. And the candles. Please.
  17. Ha, if Sharina really did leave Krvin, now THAT would be karma. Maybe Wendy is doing all this so he'll come crawling back to her. (I'm only half kidding)
  18. Can't say I believe the ending of her show was all her decision either. Not sure how the ratings have been but she's just so unlikable to me. So, not sure why I've continued to dvr her shows although I rarely watch them and at some point when there are too many I have to go through and delete the ones that don't sound interesting to me. The rest I just FF to what I want to watch. I agree she's gone through a lot in the past few years with losing her house, her magazine and her dog. Having to keep up her perky phony persona. Putting up with that little toad of a husband. I admit I have learned some things from her show, not so much her recipes but prep tips and such. (A friend gifted me her magazine for years and don't tell her, but at some point, I just skimmed through and tossed them. The recipes sucked.) But I do admire everything she does for animal charities. It sucks that there aren't any good cooking shows anymore, IMO. I still miss The Chew.
  19. ^^ I think amount of alimony depends on the State, but from what I read, the general rule is 1/2 the time of the marriage. And Wendy did NOT have a pre-nup. Also, from what I read, there was a clause in their divorce agreement that the alimony would be paid as long as she was still working on the WW show. Don't know if that's true, sounds pretty convenient. The thing is, Kevin got money upfront from the sale of their homes, etc. Some articles say he got all the proceeds from the NJ house, and she got the Florida house. If that's true, he got $1.4 million. Plus half of the money in joint bank accounts etc. And alimony for 3 years. So now, this guy can't even pay his homeowner dues or car insurance without Wendy's money? If there's nothing left, it's his own damn fault. He had to have known he would have to curb his lavish lifestyle without Wendy. I wonder what Sharina is thinking "omg my sugar daddy turned into a total loser!"
  20. No matter what I think of Wendy, this is some good karma. Really, did Kevin think he could divorce the cash cow and she would support him, his sidepiece and their kid for the rest of their lives? Especially when he knew how fragile she was and would fall apart if he left. If he really wanted to end it, fine, leave and start your new life with dignity, not like a whiny boy who still needs his ex's money to survive. The judge made a good decision, they've been divorced for 3 years and Kevin can't pay his mortgage or homeowner dues without his alimony? What has he been doing besides laying on the couch watching cable? He could have been working and socking away that alimony as a college fund for his kid. I think Kelvin just got a big freaking spoonful of reality.
  21. So, "I'm taking a year off" is the only thing she's said that isn't a lie. 🙄
  22. He lost me at "my mom had her hands down his pants" 😆 (did I hear that right?)
  23. I haven't watched Sherri, I wish her well but just not my cup of tea. Maybe if she toned it down a couple hundred notches, lol. Glad to hear Norman is there though, I knew she kept some of Wendy's staff but wasn't sure about him. I agree he seemed so nervous and uncomfortable once Wendy went off the rails. It's a fine line between nicely correcting your boss and pissing her off. And they did get rid of that guy who was Norman's partner when they needed a fall guy after Wendy put her foot in her mouth. That would make me pretty nervous too.
  24. So, a permanent financial guardian? But Wendy still has input? I wonder if she agrees about cutting lil Kev off. I guess Big Kev didn't read the fine print, that his ex needed to keep her job to pay him. I would definitely be behind that one, maybe even stay unemployed for an extended period of time, or forever. Wendy is supposedly worth $40m so she really doesn't have to work. Re lil Kev, I'm sure he's spoiled as hell, but I kinda feel like if his mom wants to pay his rent or buy him a condo, that's her business. It seems to be a small portion of her fortune and lots of wealthy people buy homes for their relatives. There must be more to the story. I still think lil Kev was the reason for the guardianship to begin with.
