  1. I want to see Jo go into Neurology. Wasn't she working with Derek for a little while? What happened to all that. I know, I know. President calls, blah blah, car crash, Amelia takes over, all this shit happens with Paul. But I believe Jo used to work under Derek in Neuro, so I would love to see Jo work alongside Amelia. I think we ought to have a drinking game. 1 shot per googly eyes. 5 shots per passionate make out session. 10 shots per sex scene. + 1 extra shot every time someone rolls on their back after sex, says "Oh, my God." breathlessly.
  2. @anna0852 I would not be surprised if Amelia says she is going to take a step back. This is the whole new person KV created post-tumor. Before the tumor, I don't think Amelia would be as willing to let Owen and Teddy be together. It's not that I hated the old Amelia (I loved her, hate this new Amelia) but just that she reminded me so much of myself! Spoke her mind, stood up for herself, was arrogant, brash, selfish, didn't give a f*ck what anyone else thought or felt. But now, they have her backing off the second something doesn't quite go right. She's become so little and meek. I hate her now. I wonder if Betsy is returning. Peyton made an IG post saying she would be seeing Caterina soon. Assuming she is in L.A. now and not too sure about Caterina.
  3. Thank you so much for clearing up exactly who was in Seattle, @BaseOps . When I saw the previous post in this thread, the first thing to come to mind "aw, shite... they're really going to go there with Andrew/Meredith!" XD I wonder if Teddy is running away in tears over Owen telling her to get lost just like she told him to get lost back in Germany. And you know what, I bet neither Teddy nor Owen has told Amelia the truth. Surprise, surprise. /snark
  4. I swear HGTV is turning into the new E! /snark Why doesn't Christina just join the Kardashian sisters and get off this network for good?
  5. Is Secret History of Twin Peaks official in-uinverse canon? I tried reading that last fall before watching FWWM and could not get past the first few pages. The regular "modern day" font was easy to get through, but the historical documents were hard to read. The audio tapes that went along with it were absolutely no help to me, because I am hearing impaired and rely on closed captions to accompany audio. Is there a text-only (with only fonts such as Times New Roman, Geneva, Helvetica, etc?) edition of Secret History of Twin Peaks?
  6. That'd be a strange twist of fate, Owen suddenly going from 0 kids to 3.
  7. Funny enough: Duke, Drake, and Demo seem to have a nice ring to it!
  8. Well, ideally, I would like ABC or Shonda to pull the plug at the last minute. But it's doubtful that will happen and they're probably brainstorming at the table right now. I should probably check that one site soon, but this first so it doesn't impact speculation judgement. :) How much time has passed? I'm assuming we're still in a discrepancy with time, so I would place the season 14 in-universe time as being the Spring of 2019. Zola looked to be about nine, which would match up to it being Spring 2019. However, Sofia was supposedly still seven, so I don't know. Unless Zola is older? I forget whose older. Getting back to the question, I am hoping that a year or at least six months have gone by for various reasons to be mentioned. Jo and Alex: I kind of want them to go to Boston! But with the time jump in place (being 6-12 months) I would like to see them return to Seattle for reasons. Maybe they miss being on the West Coast, Boston wasn't for them, they couldn't stand the triple-blizzard that struck within ten days of one another. Who knows! But I want to see them back and I want to see Camilla wearing a baby bump. She is the cutest, and Daddy Alex could be interesting. Jackson and Maggie: Well, I mean. I've had my speculations regarding their kinship for a long time now. Close to a year. So, seeing Jaggie family (literally) drama would be kind of fun to watch. And I could throw back a couple shots and laugh at the expense of those who said we were crazy for calling it incest when it wasn't. *shrugs* But Richard/Catherine definitely seem like they go way back, though. I wouldn't be surprised, though. And Richard cheating on Ellis and Adele? Hoooo boy gets around! I mean, really, the thought of Grandfatherly Webber being a player back in the day would be a fun thing to watch! I mean, really, all I care about is Player!Webber and Daddy!Alex and Jo with an adorable baby bump. x But since there are a million other characters, I don't want to be inclusive to my favorite three. /sigh Arizona Update: We'll probably somehow get a blip about Arizona being in New York and rekindling her romance with Callie, and attempting to be a functional family raising Sofia. Something like "Oh, yeah, Arizona's doing great. Sofia's really happy to have her mommies back together." or something like that. Andrew gets his shit together: Because he pretty much has become a grade A douche bag the last season and half. But.... I would like to also hear that Andrew and Carina have returned to Italy, New York, or wherever. So bye! Also, another idea: Andrew joins Sam and begins working with Cristina in Switzerland, where he also gets his shit together. /happyendings Millennial Interns: Here's what I think is going to happen. Taryn: Goes to counseling and admit that she had been downing vodka whilst on an acid trip. She enters rehab and Amelia is her sponsor. With the six months to year time lapse, she would have been sober for that long and back to GSMH. Qadhri: I think she will be something like Cristina, but not as thirsty for blood ambitious like that other dude who was in Jo's class. She will be focused and motivated to get her shit together, do the best she can, and is well on her way to being Chief Resident. I just really like her (and Taryn) so I'm treating them the best. :) Glasses: /crackwarning He is looking down at something he dropped, his glasses falls off, he trips over the curb, and gets run over by a bus and his broken body is dragged for fifteen blocks. The only thing that they can identify him with is his prescription glass. Alex Blue Davis: He leaves the hospital to become a model or something like that. He has talent and skills, but I don't think he would make a good surgeon. /mytwocents I can't remember if there were any more of those Millennial Interns. But whatever. Those four stuck out to me. And Sam. Meredith "The Sun" Grey: I don't know. I kind of want Nathan to come back, or ghost Derek to make a recurring appearance without the sex. Something, whatever. Just get her off my screen, she's become such a bitch lately. Bailey: /crackish But not as bad as Glasses. So, I see her ditching the scrubs and nice, professional business outfit. Instead, she puts on high heeled boots, leather pants, a silk top, and a leather jacket. Does her hair short, and walks around town doing... well, ,that. Because something about Booty Call Bailey is intriguing. /mytwocents. Ben: Struggles not to extinguish fires in homes and restaurants, but extinguish his wife's burning you know whats. But he's on that other show now, and maybe Booty Call Bailey will transition from being a Grey's member to S19 member. Oh, yeah, now we got the meh-ies. I don't even want to think about this sad, pathetic excuses of human beings. Well, maybe Amelia. I like Amelia. Before they did a 180 on her character post tumor. Bring back PP Amelia stat! But Owen and what's her face Army Ho.... I don't know. I don't care. I just want their toxicity gone. Also, I want to see Betsy become a candy striper at the hospital.
  9. I can't believe they brought back these trailer trash. I agree with others, Izzy is the best part of the show!
  10. Crew Gaines. Okay, then. I miss Fixer Upper so much and wish HGTV had continued with that instead of bringing back that white trailer trash couple. :( BUT... I wish Chip and Jo and Family all the best.
  11. The writers are bringing out the worst in Millennials and putting it upon these new interns.
  12. I also agree that 14x23 was probably written part of the way before the fan backlash came to public attention. There are bits and pieces from that episode (and the previous, as someone said, with April saying Harriet's all set) that April was supposed to die. Funny, because someone a few posts above mentioned suicide, and that's what I thought she was going to do many episodes ago, in that shower scene. I completely expected her to be staring dead-eyed at the wall, and then a bloody knife appears. But no, we saw Vik and a bit more. Ew. I like the naieve idea someone on the previous page mentioned. I know it's stupid, and it's fan fufilling. But I like it. Well, I more like the idea of Maggie being all hell bent out of shape and downing tequila by the bottle. There's Amelia in the background biting her lips and Betty arguing that she wants to join Maggie on the binge drinking. "Aw, c'mon Amy! Learn to have some fun!" (I don't think she knows about her drug and alcohol addiction?)
  13. Aw, you've got to be shitting me. Well, I'm going to let myself believe that Jolex moved to my city and that Bailey's sabbatical became permanent. Bye, Grey's.
  14. How the hell did Glasses ever get through pre-med and med school?
  15. I agree that Debbie Allen might just be trolling us. Also, I am so happy to see Peyton has returned! Just checked her page, she's from Toronto! I wonder if she knows Caterina's family. :) [Yes, I am aware she and Caterina may not actually be from Toronto, like I say I'm from Boston but not really. Boston is a city everyone around the world recognizes.]
  16. Right? Of course she would wake up without any spinal damage and perfect recollection/reflexes. This is Grey's after all. /snark Mhm. So maybe months did pass between the time April slept with that neurosurgeon Tom and tonight's episode. We just didn't see any of it happen. I've given up on trying to keep track of time on Grey's Anatomy. Too many discrepancies.
  17. Some dicktwat on Tumblr is giving away spoilers for tonight's episode, things that we have no idea of unless we watch. Fucking asstwat. /rant
  18. Isn't Sarah out of her contract with Shondaland and ABC, though? That expired back in March, she has no obligation to them now. She's doing it because she knows fans will be upset no matter what happens and she wants to comment on those tweets by upset fans. I am so glad I am not on Twitter, I was looking through that thread which was referenced a few posts ago about Sarah defending Kelly, people get so vicious. It's like a mob mentality over there. Jesus Christ AM. Another earlier post on this thread say they think April is going to be paralyzed. That's definitely a possibility, and to back up with another earlier speculation on this thread where they said someone is being proposed to. That could be April/Matthew. But why, why would they settle for the other? I don't understand, but whatever. So in this episode, after watching the promo/trailer/whatever for the fifth time, here's what I think happens: (I agree April doesn't die). Beware, another reference to a Derek-centric fic (made one on Tumblr earlier) it's a thing of fix-it fanfiction. /nosarcasm #afraiditstrue Anyways, April flatlines and they're about to call time of death. Or maybe they do, and all the machines, etc are unhooked, unplugged, disconnected, they pull the sheet over her and leave Jackson alone in the room with her. Much like Meredith saying "Derek, Derek" a hundred times hoping he would wake up (but his brain was excavated by those dipshit doctors, whatever) Jackson will be all mournful, refusing to accept April is really gone. But bam, her pinkie finger moves. Is it post-mortem spasm? Nope, April truly is alive. Doctors return, yada yada. Turns out April is not dead after all, but she has been paralyzed. End of story. Next week (May 17) episode will probably have a time jump, she's all better and out of the hospital, sitting in a wheelchair at Jo and Alex's wedding. :) Yes, told you, thing of fix-it fanfiction. If this doesn't happen tonight, I guarantee you someone will make a fanfic of it.
  19. Yeah. Mike Wankum (local meterologist) is such a Wanker because he forecasted three nor'easters in the month of March. /sarcasm (No joke, his last name is Wankum) I am so happy Sarah told those rabid 'fans' (quotation marks because they're not true fans) off for bashing on Kelly McCreary. I see nothing wrong with the actress herself, she's gorgeous with a brilliant smile and hair I'd die for. Sure, I'd be too lazy to manage it appropriately, but living with straight-as-stick hair for 33 years does get a bit tiring and blah. I guess my 'idea' (god, didn't realize that'd start such a controversy! *eye roll* ) won't pan out now looking at this week's previews. Good or bad, well, depends on what happens tomorrow. But I am glad that Japril won't have been retconned.
  20. It was sarcasm, @BaseOps -_- But at the same time, it does seem plausible since KV is trying to undo everything Japril ever was.
  21. Here's a crazy, far-out there idea. crazy being the key word, so please bear with me. I wouldn't put it past KV anyways. What if we retcon the whole Japril storyline for the past four seasons, we go back to the day April was going to marry Matthew. This would explain the farm and Sarah Drew being all dolled up, and Justin Breuning appears in the finale. This would explain away April walking away from Harriet–she (and Samuel) doesn't exist. So there is nothing tying April to Jackson or Seattle now, she can go off and live the life she was supposed to four years ago. Plus, if we work around the episode April was supposed to marry Matthew; if you guys remember, it was the same episode Jo and Alex realized they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together and someday became a possibility. This would save us 3.5 years of nonsensical storylines with Jo and Alex; and, best for last, they're finally married and hopefully none of that long, tiring drama ever happened. And back to Jackson, this means he never got with April and probably stayed with Stephanie until she left after the fire in the season 13 finale. So that clearly paves way for Jaggie with no baggage of April (or Samuel) or Harriet. Thoughts? My thoughts: re-reading my post, it sounds like a perfectly wrapped gift with an obnoxious bow on top. It's too perfect, but isn't that what KV is striving for; perfect in her little mind.
  22. What Netflix deal? Is she not working on Grey's anymore?
  23. It wouldn't be drama without a love triangle! So, I can definitely see Teddy returning next season. I am disappointed the writers are going to end April's storyline by having her end up with Matthew. As someone else said (not sure if it was PTV or another site) it would mean April is settling for the second best and Matthew is being a doormat. I really hope Hermann offers Arizona a job in New York, so she and Sofia can be closer to Callie. It sounds like they're getting along better now. I can't remember what the girl who plays Sofia said in an interview, it wasn't too long ago; but she seemed to have been happy with the resolution of the Arizona storyline, which makes me think they moved to New York. I think the next three to go will be Jackson, Owen, and Amelia. Mostly based on the timeline of their appearence. So Shonda clearly is going out of order here. Derek before Callie. Arizona and April before Owen. Get with the program!
  24. Exactly! He lied about eating the cookies and put patients' lives at risk. Webber had every right to fire him.
  25. I really enjoyed this episode. I called Kimmie dying months ago, but I was in a much darker, snarkier, bitter frame of mind. Last night, I just scoffed and rolled my eyes. Can I just get OT for a sec? I mean, my young family member put up with rounds of chemo (and why wasn't Kimmie getting Chemo anyways?) and weeks' worth of hospital stay over the past five months. She's only one (two tomorrow) and she put up with it a hell lot better. We actually have a little game going on with her to make it more bearable, and use every moment as a teaching experience. Of course, she's one and Kimmie's like 15. But whatever, I am glad that storyline is done with now; even if IMO it wasn't treated realistically based on my recent experience. Others may disagree, and feel free to. I don't want to cause an upset or offend anyone. Back to the episode: it was nice to see a couple Jolex moments for once that were not dramatic. I shipped them hard back in season 9 and 10, but the writers really screwed them up in seasons 11-13, which made me step back from supporting the relationship as much. But now, with Jo's husband dead and she is free to do whatever she wants, I am glad they're moving forward in their relationship. About damn time! i almost totally forgot about Jaggie and that kiss came out of the blue. I barely had time to squeeze my eyes shut before that image was seared into my brain. It was kind of funny (in a weird, twisted way) how the next scene was Catherine telling Richard "Jackson ruined us." Wait, what us? Is this Catherine and Richard? Well, honey, you were the one that said you were okay with Jackson and Maggie. Oh, wait, are you referring to Harper Avery? Don't see how that is an us, but I will go along with that idea. You should have told Jackson upfront in the first place why he should have left the case and that woman in Chicago alone. My prediction, like others have said, is that it's a sexual assault case. However, this would have had to happen years ago, not recently. Ruby definitely looks like a Japril baby, or at least she looked like Harriet around the same age. So I am with Pamela in that Ruby did not look like either one of her parents. I am a bit frustrated that Matthew didn't lash out at April for all the thing she have (or may not have) done over the years, with ditching him at the altar and then not taking better care of his wife, even though she wasn't April's responsibility. He's probably the guy that believes God has a plan, which is why he was kind enough to skootch over for April at the chapel. That was a rather nice moment. Will they end up together? It'd be interesting. I actually liked Andrew/Sam for once in this episode. But it really sucks that the writers presented them as being likeable and functional on the episode Sam leaves. It's kind of lame, and didn't they say in previous episodes they were bad for one another? What suddenly changed? Anvil much? Someone said Meredith seems to be in the background a bit, and I agree. But I think as someone else said, Ellen is focusing on working behind the scenes. I am not sure if she is involved with any of the other shows, but I think she might have a recurring role on Station 19. Speaking of Station 19, wrong forum on PTV here, but what's going on with Ben and Bailey? I don't watch so I have to ask.
