  1. Good god, this episode was packed with plot movement and revelations. Can't believe it wasn't the finale!
  2. Most of the main cast + Albert Kim & Jabbar Raisani did an interview at Paleyfest a few days ago. Gordon has really shot up like a sprout. [Article]
  3. I don't think it's unusual at all to make large purchases or payment in cash, especially when they run a business that probably already deals in cash money like a small town cafe.
  4. Colter accepts any form of payment. In the first episode he says he takes cash, cheque, or Venmo, and ends up being paid by Visa, and then last episode his hacker buddy was planning to pay in bitcoin.
  5. I feel bad for Allison struggling as she has this season, but her girlfailure era and everyone's reaction to it is comedy gold. I wish Margaret would just tell Susan the firm can't afford to promote her. It's just silly to alienate her like this.
  6. I think Sam agreeing to leave her marital bed because Alberta wanted alone time, after Jay already expressed discomfort about it, might be a new low for her when it comes to her doormat tendencies.
  7. [x] jerked off onto [y] is the best accidental ghost innuendo yet!
  8. This doesn't really work as a suspenseful plot line for me because Janine is the main character of a show called ABBOTT ELEMENTARY. Like am I really supposed to be worried that she's going to take a permanent job that moves her away from the title setting? Hope Quinta Brunson & co. manage to surprise me, but we'll see.
  9. I don't care that Reenie's career makes no sense to me and they give her cringy lines, I still love her somehow.
  10. I thought Raymond Lee was a wonderful leading man, but production/writing team dug their heels in on elements that just did not work.
  11. Jabbar Raisani's forte for season 1 was directing/vfx. Assuming Christine Boylan is taking over the writing responsibilities of a showrunner, considering she was credited for the script of Ep 3... I don't love it.
  12. Victoria played the organ last season when they had to get a critter out of a church organ and she turned out to be a member of the congregation or something like that.
  13. The service dog storyline was infuriating. First of all, there is no government-issued documentation to prove a service dog is legitimate in the US, and it's illegal for state or municipal governments to require certification of service dogs. Second of all, you steal a medical device from a person and don't make sure to put it back in her hand?? You just saw how important that dog is for treating a medical emergency, which for all you know that lady is having right now!
  14. Tariq is so damn funny. Of course he's president of the PTA after dating a mom for a few months (at most). Charming ass bum.
  15. Alyssa Raghu addressed the editing of events on instagram here.
  16. God, Barbara was a brat this episode. You teach Kindergarteners, don't be one yourself!
  17. In both the cartoon and the live action there are plenty of male waterbenders.
  18. Netflix Top 10: ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Opens in First Place With 21.2 Million Views, Up 15% From ‘One Piece’ Live-Action Debut
  19. I loved the changes they made to Sokka and Yue's love story. In the cartoon, you think "Of course Yue gets close to the cute new boy when her arranged marriage is to a jerk like Hahn," but this Hahn is lovely! He's a genuinely lovely man, and Yue still breaks off the engagement because she isn't in love with him. I like that so much better than cartoonish assholery.
  20. The idea that Freddy (who we knew from birth to age fourteen) becomes a strapping firefighter who drinks scotch out of a plastic jug is gonna take a while for me to accept. I know that Frasier is built around a fraught but funny father-son relationship, but it really would have made much more sense to me if David were the next-gen Crane boy to go into a physically demanding, blue-collar job.
  21. My biggest takeaway from this episode was the reminder that Gigi has a terrible walk, god bless her.
  22. Even if Vivian hadn't revealed the napkins, I would have believed her story because Zoe found a prescription for Adderall on Edgar's corpse despite his claim he didn't take any pharmaceuticals.
  23. The fact that Edgar immediately clocked the Vivian-Ulysses affair makes me suspect he was also aware of the Grace-Hannah affair. (Like mother, like daughter, huh?)
