The way I remember it, Jill and Megan McTavish had Helena and the drugged-up Luke full-on making out in 2001. It was gross and made overt and cheaply physical something TG and Constance Towers had hinted at for years - not because it was two older performers, but because it was just tacky. I think doing it with Helena and Fluke would just be silly at this point, and also cheap. I also don't think Helena would ever touch Bill Eckert.
Helena has boy toys; Fluke would be too old an unattractive for her.
I remember one scary scene where she was hitting on Jax.

I've been kind of enjoying the lack of Franco/Nina/Ava/Silas and the almost lack of Sonny/Carly/Jason in favor of Anna and other vets. Fluke sucks but at least Luke is a GH character and it has been nice to see Bobbie and other old characters. At least they didn't drop the mayoral race - though they could have spread it out better.
Sloane is another newbie who will soon be another ATWTer but at least it's about the cops and the cops are not being all stupid. Liked Dante and Nathan being together.
This last week or so makes me think Franco/Nina/Ava/Silas/Kiki are not even needed. They could make a show without them and it would be fine.

I like the way they do the song now, very toned down. Before I found it fairly annoying. I like the addition of the character and actor names.
Soap Aussies and their pride! Well, at least Chris gave in. Matt, on the other hand - dumb move. Those kids would be better off as beneficiaries of a trust.
Amber is a pretty miserable person. Since Imogene knows who she is, maybe Daniel should go for it.

I didn't think Jake is a freeloader as Liz volunteered, and he does look for a job, but I forget why he turned down Carly's security job offer, but he could have taken it so he's a freeloader now. Though I'd have thought too it would take Liz more time to decide as she has had months without Ric and was moving on. I hate Liz has a choice between two men stories because I sympathize with the men more as fickle Liz is not worth it. She had that with my all time favorite Zander, and since his opponent was St. Jasus, there was no way he could win. I felt bad for AJ when it was Nikolas and now I feel bad for both men as neither is in a good place and I bet Liz is going to waffle.
I did see some kids in hospital gowns there too, but the focus was on the brats of whom none were ill. It was hilarious how Joss loved the whole thing.

Except, um, weren't they in Canada? I don't think PCPD jurisdiction extends that far. If the facts I've gleaned from living near Canada and watching Law and Order are correct, the RCMP would have to arrest the wrongdoers and then extradite them to the US. So, technically the ineptitude string for the PCPD is still unbroken.
Up till now, GH has treated Canada as lawless - that is, you escaped over the border and the PCPD was out of luck and had to give up. In GH land there was no extradition with Canada, even. Or anywhere. I remember Jax getting someone a flight out of the country. All you had to do was get out of the US and the PCPD was completely out of luck. Now, GHCanada is allowing the PCPD over the border to make arrests. Modern times!

That's the second young cancer sufferer who so bravely leaves so their loved ones don't have to deal with it. Like Romeo.
Sophia is really insane.
Everybody who was anybody was on the bus, lol. I could see there was going to be an accident as they showed the three cars on the road.
Agreed Evie and Josh are over the top. Get together already or quit. Dumb.
Looks like they will have a blackmail tape for Phoebe. I'm not into soap characters being rock stars. Wish they'd wrap this one up.

I thought (but could be wrong) kmC said in a print interview that she asked FV if she could direct and was told no. She has been pretty clear that he's a huge supporter of hers, and in fact helped her get the job at Grey's. I just can't help but wonder why, if she's good enough to direct prime time, he doesn't want her at GH?
I had read that directing soaps was different, in that it wasn't really directing. Since they don't have rehearsals. So maybe he's doing her a favor telling her he wants her to do only real directing and that soap directing isn't anything that gets you credit.

So they are going to force me to feel sorry for Maddie. I thought it was in character that she got up and left when Nate gave her the diagnosis. Harsh, but the one thing she can't do away with because she doesn't want it. They've written her as someone who feels completely entitled to what she wants and here is something she does not want and can't get around. I think she will survive and grow as a person.
Brax, however, is only slowly growing as a person, though that does seem to be happening. The savior complex for his family has got to go or include his love interest. Now that he is having a child, maybe it could include the child, lol.

Money on soaps in usually a laugh riot. They never need change, either. And always pay cash.
I thought it was clever the way they dealt with it when they wanted Jett to be a year older. A lot of soaps would have just done it without explanation.

I agree, then again Brennan sticking his nose in didn't help. It is a good thing for Erin to have a job, as a separate issue.
Sonya has a business to run and a small child, so she doesn't have time for her savior complex. Though she does have some past history with Erin, whether it was on the show or not. Susan has a similar complex, with that guy who died of cancer and now Nate.

They hired another actress to give Sonya another story - I guess they are determined to crank out more on this annoying character.
Family stuff was interesting. The Cannings are great. And Paige and Bailey.
Rain is indeed a manipulative person.
Gary is lying about the MacKenzie brothers and Naomi knows. Interesting.

Naomi mentioned Gary and I realized they must be brother and sister. Looks like Naomi is guilty of the anti-Sonya campaign. Or did she simply receive one of the letters herself? I couldn't read that red envelope. Georgia was sort of snoopy.

That's right, she was working for the same company. I can't recall what Paul would have had against Lauren, though. Or nothing, because he simply likes to stir things up! He could have had no idea of the existence of Paige then, though, who knows? What a brat!

Maddie is a witch. Delusional too. And not getting the ultrasound shows she does not care enough about the child. She's only using it to keep Josh.
I hope they are done with the annoying VJ story.
I wonder if there is such a person as would do what Kyle is doing. As Brax said, there's coin in that!
Yeah, Marilyn was way annoying - she adopted the kid, so he is your kid, not your buddy. Boy that was dumb.

Paul is confusing. I thought maybe he wanted an affair with Therese. But now he brings in Ezra - so he doesn't want her for himself, but still wants to create trouble between her and Brad. It's been clear he is getting in the way of their working out their issues. Or maybe he's so devious he knew Ezra's presence would cause more trouble and break the marriage further and that will allow him to get with Therese.

Thanks nozycat. I agree about the "Spencina" thing. Can't think of Spencer ever doing anything to Matt. And it was not necessary to create tension on that camping trip.

LOL all Zach gets out of this relationship is more involvement with one of his students, and even then sometimes gets yelled at for his efforts. Run, Zach. It's all about VJ and you only count as far as your effect on VJ.
Chris needs to learn when to leave someone be for a while. He's becoming a variant version of Colleen.
What does TAFE stand for? Obviously it is a trade school program. Acronyms drive me nuts.

I agree about Amber. And how can one exam be the whole world suddenly? If it was it would be known ahead of time so the student could prepare.
Do we know what happened to Kyle's mum? I suppose Gary is an alcoholic or something like that. Funny I simply took Kyle and Gran for granted as joining forces because they were both in Erinsborough - now it seems perhaps she raised him?

Yeah, Leah needs to back off and let the kid grow up. And of course she is letting it run her relationship with Zach. Run, Zach, Run, you are going to be broken up with over VJ issues like everyone else. Oh and she doesn't want more kids, remember? Didn't that cause Miles to be broken up with? I'd love to hear that Miles and Elijah have met really nice girls and are happy with them.
I hate Maddie being pregnant! Now she gets to hang onto Josh. I suppose that's tough on Evie but it can be done, so I don't think she really had to go so far as to break up with him. Mainly I hate Maddie getting what she wants. Josh is so no into her any more but will be living with her BS forever. I guess he was upset so he didn't think about the condoms.
On the other hand, Matt was right - he really needs to be free of Sasha as he has nothing in common with her. She's always pressuring him and he ought to be glad if she goes off to uni to do her thing so he can do his without hearing from her how he ought to do something else.

I remember the ones I had to dial - that burned them in memory. And there was only one number per household. Today I don't know any but my own. It's a funny thing the show forgets that. Since they deal so little in real life on soaps, they forget the little details, along with the big ones, like most people don't come back from the dead. Or aren't presumed dead without a body.
