  1. It seems you can't trust anyone on this show. Out of nowhere, we see Adrian doing something that was not ethical merely by the expression on his face. What could that be all about? First Billy takes Deran's money, now Adrian up to something that may hurt Deran? Speaking of Billy, did anyone miss his character in this last show? Did the writers get rid of him? As for J pulling what looks like a real Pope character by throwing Morgan to the sharks? Nice, clean cut boy personna, gone. It wouldn't surprise me that Morgan swims to shore. and appears in a confrontational mode in next years installments. Hate these serial shows...now we have to wait almost a full year for next installments, after next weeks Finale.
  2. I was hoping that they will kill Pope's character....he is just dragging this Lena s..t too far. If it wasn't for the Lena character, he is the borest of the lot.
  3. That scene with Billy and Deran was so predictable. He opens the safe up in front of Billy and if i am not mistaken, as he walked out of the room, he left the safe door open. Liked to know what that note said. It may not be too bad for Deran, after all, he could always claim Billy's share of the loot. Can't believe he was sadden by the lost money or the lost father figure again. Speaking of Daren and Adrian...can't understand their relationship at all. There seems to be no jealousy on Adrian's part and Deran's interest in the Nurse. As for Pope, i am just sick of his brooding over Lena....It just drags the show. Was that rat scene done by CGI? First, i thought Smurf was going to castrate the guy, but when i saw her opening the jar of peanut butter, i knew what was coming.
  4. So Deran is upset cause his Nurse friend was put into an awkward situation which he did not appreciate..now he is an accomplice. I liked the way Deran said to Craig about his Nurse friend, "He was the only one that put sense into my life", or something to that effect. Wow! I wonder how Adrain would appreciate that remark.
  5. This is the way the studio's get rid of some key players. They either kill them off or send them away, in this case as a promotion. I read somewhere that he is getting a new show
  6. They brought in Billy to fill up the 'space' of Baz. Up to now its shown that he is broke and desperate. Now that he hit the jackpot, what is there to keep him there, especially after Snurf, doesn't want him around?. The writers did not bring in Billy's character, just to get rid of him. I can't see where his character heading once he gets his share...then again, they dugged the loot, and it may take a long, long time for them to get it.
  7. I realize that this is a show...but, last night episode was a bit far fetch. First, exciting as the heist was, how believable is for 2 guys, especially J, jump out of the plane like experts? This had to be his first time jumping out like a Pro. Darin did it before at the beginning of this show with his brothers. Second, this isolated woman asking for $10 grand to give them a lift. How did she know they were thieves and had that type of money? Also read that Aug 14th is the last show of this season, which means 3 more to gjo.
  8. Everyone is having sex on this show, but Pope....and Smurf....ha,ha
  9. it would be interesting to see how Smurf reacts to J's outburst during his last visit. Would he be in the doghouse or would she find more respect for him?
  10. Man, its depressing to see Billy constantly shooting up all the time...ok, we get it...he's an addict. The gay outline is a bit confusing for me anyway. Why would Billy ask a gay son to help him to do a job? Most dads would never think of asking their gay son to do so. Also, I don't buy that Deran, being Gay, is all man in everything else....fighting, robbery and etc. I see why the writers are trying to keep up with the times, but getting caught up in a mixture of too many story lines in one show. This show is running out of steam.
  11. So far, I do not see the reason for that Nurse with Deran to be in this, except for the fact that the studio had to make the token effort to put a black actor in. Being gay, is he going to all of a sudden be part of the Cody robbing crew. ..at least Deran, was born into it. Sorry, for that old lady being left there on the bench...couldn't they just drop her off to one of those senior centers? Perhaps, it would have meant that they would have had to supply personal information which of course they couldn't do.
  12. OK, its been awhile, so here goes. Of the 4 brothers, was each fathered by a different dude? We now know that Billy is Deran's father, now who was the father of Pope, Craig? Was Baz, J's father as often mentioned and denied? This show was so predictable...when last week's show had Craig visiting a doctor, and somehow one knew that the doctor was going to get into Darin's space. "Hey, wanna get drunk with me". What is going to become of Darin's other friend that he is sponsoring. Here, I thought that Darin was the most level headed of the group, but now he may go by the same path of the others. As for Pope, he keeps ranting to J and even Craig. of all people, to get rid of Billy. Why doesn't he get rid of Billy. himself? It's obvious, no one is going to get rid of Billy, after the studio hired Tim Leary, to more or less replace Baz character.
  13. Wow, i had no idea that there were 2 previous episodes...I have kept looking for its premiere and this weeks was the first time i saw it listed under TNT. I guess i have to catch up via "on Demand"...thanks.
  14. To the best of my knowledge, I thought last nights show , june 12th, was the first of the new season. Like I said in my OP, it started with him being shot and falling to the ground and his name is second listed in the credits, with Ellen Barkin, the lead. If he is leaving the show as you say, why would they repeat him being shot again other than to recap the final episode of last seasons, when it ended him getting shot. Are you saying last nights show was the second of this season?
  15. If Baz is dead, I don't like the way this show is going, judging by the first episode of this season's show. Like i said earlier, if Baz is dead, then why have Speedman's name shown as the second lead? I think he will survive, or this show is dead. I cannot see Pope replacing Baz, he is a loose cannon, nor i see J taking over. Craig's character is getting monotonous ...and so is Nicky. Seems the only sane character in this show is gay Darin.
  16. I watch the first show of the new season last night and it starts where it ended last season, Baz being shot and him falling to the ground as he was chasing the shooter. That is the last seen of him in the entire hour show. Reading comments below from last years ending, they all seem to think that he is actually killed. How can that be possible, if the new season's credit cast shows Speedman as the second lead. For Baz to be 'dead', that would mean that Speedman is no longer in the cast, period. I have not read any where that Speedman has left the show or been fired.
  17. I had to view it again, especially the Parking garage scene. I could see how Stan had to let them go, for the sincerity of Philips explanation. He believed him and probably satisfied, though jolted, that Philip warned him about Renee. Now, the part that Elizabeth said., "we didn't kill anyone'' still threw me off bitterly, but again understood why she wouldn't admit it. As for Philip's asking. "who's Oleg"? Didn't he just met him at the park? I was really surprised to see Paige on the station as the train went on. Now Philip and Liz were childless...but like they say, that is the price one has to pay, plus their 'welcoming' arrival in Mother Russia. Who know's what is in store for them there. Finally, i was confused with the appearance of snow as they got out of the car and looked at a city. Were they in Russia, already, though they showed them traveling via cars, and train, but no airplane boarding, or were they looking at the USA for the last time. All in all, the ending has a making for a sequel, perhaps that was the intention of the writers. Unfortunately, Keri and Matthew Rhys, great as they performed in this show, do not have the makings of mega stars, and may look forward to a sequel.
  18. The ending has left so many possibility's...and I would be watching, if and when it happens...but not years from now.
  19. This show's finale has the making of a sequel ...few left unanswered questions. What will become of Paige? Ditto, Henry? What will become of Stan and Renee? Ditto for Oleg and of course of Phillip and Elizabeth. Aside from those questions, I really enjoyed the Finale, particularly, the Parking garage scene and Philips explanation to Stan on why he was a spy. Curiously, Elizabeth did not say a word. There was quite some suspense there...will Stan shoot them, report them? I did not see that in Stan's demeanor, especially with Paige being there. The one puzzling thing that hit me was Stan asking Philip, if he knew Oleg, and Philip responds, no who is he? That did not make any sense, why would Philip deny he knows Oleg, when he just about warned Stan about Renee? He had nothing to lose at that point by denying that. Anyway, the Finale took us 5 years to view the outcome, that is a credit to the writers....watch out for Part 2, and I would welcome it.
  20. So Paige gets upset about a boy that was seduced by her mother, but okay to beat up or possibly kill someone, like that sailor...though, she didn't kill him, but caused it.
  21. I'm rooting for Wendl over Dom...just what has Dom contributed other than his gift of gab. If Donathan should manage to be one of the three, i hope he wins. BTW, are we overlooking Sebastian? Don't forget his prize at Ghost Island. I suspect he is going to make a real big move in next weeks show.
  22. Seriously, I thought this episode was one of the best acted of them all. I cannot believe that Keri has not won an Emmy. If this was a movie she would have won an Oscar. She is so damn convincing in all her scenes, especially this last 'death' scene. I believe that Phillip is going to give himself up to Stan. Never forgotten the one scene that was shown in the last couple of weeks trailer, when he walked up to Stan and said, "i'm the one you have been looking for"...perhaps it was put there then by error, and if I am not mistaken, he looked 'dressed up'...new suit?
  23. If there were tension between the two leads, than why is it the writers always have Murtagh say out to Riggs, " I love you", and Riggs not once ever reciporcated.
  24. I didn't accept that ending, much less expected. I've read about him having ego problems, but even to the extent of his co-workers? Getting shot from his step brother was way out of the wall for me. Only last weeks show, he was complaining to Riggs that 'they' made me do it", as he was carrying the money, and Riggs visiting him in the hospital, and now he comes around to shoot him? This finale was a real tense one...you wanted Riggs to kill his father, and I hope that is the end of his character, it certainly looked like it. BTW, how did the brother know where Riggs was at the Cemetary?
  25. Too bad, the less of Sheldon, the better the show, as we get to see the 'rest' of the family. I like George, he makes me laugh and so little Missy...nice dinner with her father. I don't understand the 'coupling' of Annie Potts and the actor playing DR. Sturgis...a fine character actor, but couldn't they find a more presentable man for Annie, who is not that old? Anyhow, to me they represent :The odd couple"
