  1. Minnick being fired was a highlight. That was the only scene with her that i've liked all season. I was hoping that the firefighter that Arizona flirted with would make an appearance. She's the first person i thought of when the spinoff was announced. Do you think any of the firefighters shown in this episode will be part of the spinoff? (specifically the woman introduced by Bailey on the stairs)
  2. i'm surprised that david is the first baseball player to be on the show. i guess this is proof that future mlb players will be major contenders like football players seem to be.
  3. this was his best shot at the mbt.
  4. who had the best freestyle? (i want to look it up on youtube to see what it looks like. the star is dancing by themselves?)
  5. Monday will be all about Simone. The judges' critiques weren't wrong, but their delivery was a little harsh and they've received quite a bit of backlash from the media/public. Now with Monday's theme, and CAI getting Simone (no coincidence there), it'll end up being her shining moment of the season. It's almost like they tore her down, just to build her up stronger for the final push.
  6. I don't think Simone had a bad attitude at all. It was nice to see something other than robotic peppiness. She has been getting the same comments over and over. It's natural that she's finally sick of it and can't just smile and pretend she's okay. Normani has set the bar so high, and if the winner was solely based on dancing there would be no doubt in my mind that she'd be the (deserving) winner. That being said, we all know that viewers don't always vote for the best dancer. This is evident by Bonner making it as far as he did, and David still being in the competition. Normani, Rashad, and Simone are the finalists that this season deserves, but not the ones I suspect we'll get. David will probably pull an upset and knock one of the stronger dancers out. I hope it isn't Normani, but if I were to guess I'd say it's between her and Simone.
  7. David is the weakest dancer out of the 4 left (and should be eliminated next week imo), but i won't be shocked if he makes it to the finals. Baseball fans are voting hard.
  8. i'm assuming that the song chosen by the pros is supposed to represent their partner. in that case, i find Sasha's pick a little boring. he's going to play up Simone's innocence. i don't think it's fake, but it feels very "Laurie" to me. At least she was 16, not a grown woman. Bonner doesn't deserve such a great trio song. He won't do it justice. At least I'll have 2 good dancers to focus on during this performance. I'm most looking forward to Normani's Contemporary, and Rashad's AT.
  9. http://hollywoodlife.com/2017/05/03/normani-kordei-dwts-blog-bullies-perfect-score/ "The biggest challenge for me so far was opening up. I wanted to walk in knowing that I’d be a different person walking out. The show has just taught me to love myself and open up and know that people can also look at you with kind hearts. I think that I’m so used to being judged. Me being a public figure, especially being a woman, people try to tear you down. I was bullied on social media a lot, so I’m very reserved and closed off, and I’m kind of scared to let them in because I don’t know how I’ll be accepted or if I’ll even be accepted so I think that’s what I’ve had to overcome." - Normani
  10. if this was towards the beginning of the season i'd be more worried. There are only 3 weeks left so i think she'll be able to get through it. Val also said that he'll choreograph the dances differently.
  11. lol i doubt you care, and i'm not going to have a back and forth with you just because you're looking for an argument. Anyways, i don't think Normani is that secure in votes. Not all 5H fans are voting. Some only care about group projects or their fav member. I knew David was getting a lot of support, but I was amazed at how close in votes he was to Rashad. I see Rashad as the front runner with the viewers so if he can barely beat David, that means David isn't too far behind. He'll probably end up knocking out 1 of the top3 (probably one of the girls).
  12. you're so defensive. i also found Nancy awkward, which was surprising because she's in her 40's and I thought she'd be used to the spotlight. and yes i do know things about simone and normani "other than what their pros tell us"
  13. this is my first season watching dwts, and if bonner manages to outlast any of the top 3 (Normani/Simone/Rashad) it'll be my last.
  14. not surprised by his elimination, but i thought he won that dance off
  15. Exactly. I'm sorry (not really), but a fun personality doesn't distract me from your terrible dancing. Anything other than a Normani/Rashad/Simone final will be a travesty
