  1. Something terrible has to happen to Kim and that is what sends Jimmy into his self-destructive spiral. There's no way he could go full Saul Goodman and ever look Kim in the eye again. But he has to get rid of that car, it's soul crushing (to me). And I feel bad for Mike. Perhaps his having to track down and murder his almost friend is what sends him over the edge of losing his soul (and murdering people left, right and center). One thing I find a bit odd (I'm sure this has been discussed to death so apologies) but when we meet Mike in BB, it's because Saul sends him to WW for a black bag job. Why is he taking those kinds of jobs if he is making insane money with Gus?
  2. I think the lead got buried on Nightman, which is that it ran for 44, count 'em, 44 episodes!
  3. When the heck did this show become The West Wing? And they send two people to North Dakota when they have absolutely no idea who is there -- other than this mysterious cabal who up to this point has totally kicked their asses at every turn? Can't this show just commit to being absurdist fantasy? They don't seem to understand what any of their characters are supposed to be doing. Maggie Q should be kicking someone's ass every episode -- what's more realistic than a 98 pound FBI agent beating up some special forces goon? Reed Diamond has to be evil -- hope he's evil in real life too. President Bauer has to lose it at some point to show he's not a total wimp. At least they kept the annoying family stuff off. That's the worst. Bring back that general -- at least he had some spine.
  4. It makes no sense for Gene to have talked to the cops. What if he is called as a witness if this kid claims police brutality? He should have just told the cops he didn't see the kid. That's what you do when you're on the lam! I don't see how his do it yourself witness protection can be very successful. I guess he has a fake social security number or the number of someone who died as a child, but isn't it easy for any government agency to run that number and see what contributions you've made to social security? It seems like the Gene personna would fall apart pretty fast. Wouldn't it make more sense to get out of the country? I have to confess, I don't know what Chuck is up to. Clearly he wants to blackmail or humiliate Jimmy. Is this how he gets him to change his name? And if he so badly wants to disassociate himself from Jimmy, why not insist he move to another city or state? Neither of them is from New Mexico. Also, having served many years in "prestigious" large NYC law firms, I love they way they are able to pretend that Albequerque is some kind of legal hot bed. Bring back Dennis Boustikaris and his Moscow Mule!
