  1. That fight scene was epic. Probably one of the most enjoyable scenes in the series so far because the "loners" and "freaks" finally stood up for themselves against the jocks. Also, when it's revealed at the end what really happened between Bryce and Hannah - wow, that was pretty chilling. It's interesting that there's this emphasis on telling the truth (parents keep telling their children to tell the truth in court), yet it's been distorted by the case itself - by students lying to protect themselves and by the lawyers trying to characterize Hannah as someone the jury can empathize with. It makes you question the tapes because before, they were the only sources of truth that the audience had. Now, we have different perspectives that complicate the truth and Hannah herself.
  2. Was it announced that 13RW was already renewed for a third season prior to this second season coming out? Because I feel like an idiot; I fully expected the show to have this season be its last season, and resolve everything. I'm pissed that they left loose endings to resolve in a third season, because I think a third season is unnecessary. Tyler looks sickly with a buzzcut. The bathroom scene was horrific. I expected that one of the two trials (Hannah's parents v. the school and Jessica v. Bryce) would end up with "the good guys" winning, but I guess that would be unrealistic. I really hope that Bryce somehow gets what's coming for him in the third season. What happened to Marcus? Last thing we heard was that he was suspended when he called out Bryce as a rapist. Justin is on a dark path, AND Seth knows where he is. Scared for him. Lastly and most importantly, how old are these kids? I'm very confused because Marcus got into Harvard, and Bryce said he had to repeat junior year. So they for sure are seniors, but the rest of the cast are juniors, right? Hannah was alive sophomore year, then season 1 is fall of junior year, and season 2 is spring of junior year? I'm just trying to sort out the timeline.
  3. I feel like he's erratic because he's been a mess of emotions ever since Hannah's suicide/listening to the tapes. I really like the Tyler/Alex and Alex/Jessica/Zach friendships Also, what was the second note that Tony was burning?
  4. I have a couple of questions - Is Jackie a friend of Hannah's mom? I'm confused on who she is Why is Tony on probation? Why is Alex's leg messed up if he shot himself in the head?
  5. 3 episodes in - is it just me or does anyone else sense a romantic spark between Ezequiel and Michele? Also interesting to see the role religion plays, acting as a source of "truth"/propaganda, influencing people to compete in the Process
  6. Two questions - if Daly had paused the game during the chase, would the wormhole continue to shrink, or maintain its shape? And what happened to Walton and Gillian (from marketing)? Is their code/cookie dead?
  7. yup, definitely thought the show was hinting at the brother's racism, and now I'm worried for lucas. And the shower scene left me thinking the same thing. Also, do we know for sure that they're not related by blood? I know the brother has mentioned that "they're family now" but the connotations of that statement are unclear. I'm so curious about their background and how the brother will somehow fit into the show (besides antagonizing Steve). Maybe he'll be a casualty of the fledgling demigorgon.
  8. Well to be fair, the suburbs outside of Chicago are very safe; typically those who reside there just say that they're from Chicago.
  9. So I just rewatched the finale because it was so good, and two things I noticed: a) Chloe was playing a simplified version of the ending classical song on the piano. b) Right before Perry attacks Celeste, his eyes dart over to Jane's direction and they widen; he looks startled/shocked. Could he have possibly recognized her (I know, it's been six years), and that's what sent him over the edge? He'll be convicted and possibly jailed, so screw it? Hm. Overall, it was an amazing series.
  10. One thing that has confused/bugged me since watching this episode - in the scene when Jane tells the teacher and principle that Ziggy is the result of rape - is this real or imagined? Because it then cuts to Jane telling Madeline that of she didn't say that, although she wanted to. However, that scene reminded me of when Madeline recounted her kiss with Joseph to Celeste. What Madeline was saying to Celeste wasn't the truth, as the flashbacks showed. Is Jane's situation the same? Did she actually tell them about Ziggy's father? Thanks to whoever can provide clarity.
