  1. I on side of Micah wanting to play the victim. First wanting Paul to go first, then when Paul followed her and said "Did I make a mistake?" she pushed him out. I had almost changed my mind on her after the initial mean-girl antics, but I think she was acting all along.
  2. I read an interview with Katie today that said that she's moving to San Diego. I guess that's for her new showbiz career. https://www.seattletimes.com/entertainment/tv/rentons-katie-thurston-and-fiance-blake-moynes-reveal-how-they-found-love-on-the-bachelorette/
  3. I always thought that the producers controlled everything... would Katie really have had anything to do with last night's "request"?
  4. It took a while to catch up with this thread... lot's of great thoughts. I'm pretty sure that Toby and Kate's marriage ends with Toby cheating. He seems particularly chagrined in the 10-year FF, like he was the bad guy in all this. And everyone just seems giddy about Kate getting a happy 2nd marriage. I also spent time going through the last scene carefully. As someone mentioned above, Kevin is sharing a room with a woman, and I'm pretty sure that woman would have been in the room with Madison and Beth having champagne with Kate. Neither Madison nor Kevin had a wedding ring on in that scene (as far as I could tell). I'm betting on Kevin and Madison together in 5 years. Nice to see a future Big 3 Construction Company. Hope that Kevin and Miguel bond over building Rebecca's house, and I'm on team Rebecca-gave-Kevin-a-project on this one. Finally, although I really enjoy this show, I'm glad that the season of Randall-angst is over. Looking forward to an interesting season 6.
  5. It's one thing to sit next to someone wearing a KKK hood, and worse to take a video, but really bad to post it to social media. When it gets to that, it's something you're proud of and want the world to know about you.
  6. This! After following all the horrible plots, I'm surprised that the Sarah story is what has driven me away, but I haven't watched since I read the spoiler that this was coming. Still recording it every day, but just can't bring myself to watch any more.
  7. I just saw a report that LG is out. The only story line I find remotely fun these days is Sarah and Xander. I was bummed about the Kristen twist, and this may be it for me 😞
  8. Gabi had Ari before her time in jail. Something happened while she was there that caused an injury. IIRC, Abby was responsible for this jail time, so Gabi blames Abby for her not being able to have more children.
  9. Nicole's outfit was so horrible today it drove me out of lurk mode.
  10. One of the extra videos shows Tyler and Laura directing their cab driver to the final pit stop. He didn't seem to have a clue and didn't have gps or a smart phone, so they pulled out the maps and got him there. Worst cabbies ever.
  11. Remembering Rochelle's fear of heights when stacking boxes -- I think that it's a good thing that they got eliminated before the tower task.
  12. I think that a lot of the comments in the "interviews" are answering questions that they are asked, so I take those "we must beat Hayley and Blair" comments as prompted by the producers. Producer: "How would it feel to get beat by a team that bickers as much as Hayley and Blair?" Laura / Tyler: "That would be terrible. We have to beat Hayley and Blair."
  13. My take on the remaining teams... I don't hear Rochelle saying that she deserves to win as much as she says that her son motivates her -- and that's a big difference. I still don't want them to win because they're the weaker team and honestly don't seem to be having a lot of fun. Hayley's bickering went away when she and Blair became the leaders. It's someone's behavior when things get tough that means a lot more to me, and I can't forget how horrid she was when staying in the game was in doubt. Jenny / Jelani are just meh. I don't dislike her as much as some, but Jelani is so overshadowed it's hard for me to get any connection with them as a team. I still like Laura / Tyler. It's probably because I'm a joking-snarky type, so I don't take what they say as seriously as some TAR fans. They're having fun, keep their cool when things didn't go their way, and generally run strong race legs. It will be an interesting finish!
  14. Mike and Rochelle are a team that I wouldn't mind winning the whole thing. But, they are a weaker team, based on statistics, and have been all season. I don't think that it's fair to blame the other teams for realizing that. The average of placement of the remaining teams (borrowed from another board) is: Laura / Tyler 3.3 Jelani / Jenny 3.4 Hayley / Blair 3.6 Mike / Rochelle 4.9 And, there have been three legs where they were significantly behind the pack, only surviving because of a meltdown in another team. TAR is a game where avoiding a big mistake is the key to winning, but when it gets down to the top four all of them running solid legs are likely and I think that Mike and Rochelle will be at the bottom when that happens.
