  1. Surely the best character witness that Larry could have called on his behalf would have been Richard to say that Larry gave him a kidney.
  2. I am surprised to see a sitcom plot in 2024 which is Larry doesn't want people to think he had sex with a man. Even on Seinfeld, they would have said, "Not that there's anything wrong with that"! And isn't dead-naming a no-no? I thought when I originally saw the plot synopsis that Larry was going to accidentally dead-name Ken. Next week's episode is an hour-long special.
  3. Surely Larry has been on Conan's show (in real life) so they have met before?
  4. Isabel seems to have forgotten what her actual job is (unless she was demoted and I didn't hear?) since in this episode she was interviewing suspects and going out in the field. I hope she had an annual appraisal where someone pointed this out!
  5. It was nice to see a clip from "How to with John Wilson", but a shame that there was no mention (I mean spoken) that it was from that show.
  6. Stu really didn't seem like someone who had had a serious stroke.
  7. If I heard correctly, Irma said she had been sober for 15 weeks, and Larry said "9 weeks to go". That would make 24 weeks, but 6 months = 26 weeks.
  8. Plus being fine with the donor (Leon) being of a different ethnicity, meaning they will have to explain the child's origin all the time? And surely they would need some documents signed regarding parental rights.
  9. It reminded me of the bathrooms he designed for his own coffee shop, where "number twos" wouldn't even be allowed - I think he said people would have to go home if they needed to do one of those. Would it not have been possible to put a cover over the lawn jockey?! (Either the original one or the replacement.)
  10. I don't understand how Aunty Rae's spare glasses would fit Larry if her head was bigger than his? And Larry didn't even try to adjust his own glasses until the scene in the bathroom. I did like the very end of the episode but not the rest.
  11. I wonder how those robots and the structures that they build would stand up to the earthquakes and volcanic eruptions?
  12. Seems like a bad idea security-wise for Kasie to have an Alexa in the lab.
  13. I would have thought that McGee, at least, would be highly interested in building safety instead of avoiding the meeting about it, remembering the Navy Yard bombing, for instance. And especially since he apparently wants to be NCIS director some day. I guess Denise Crosby's character didn't last long as Sec Nav since there was a new one in this episode.
  14. Annie is played by Savonna Spracklin who has been in a few episodes of Yellowstone.
  15. Monica Dolan, who played Janet (the Mum) in this, actually played Rosemary West in a mini-series called "Appropriate Adult" in 2011. She was also in an episode of "Midsomer Murders" in 2010, which of course starred John Nettles!
  16. I absolutely hate the idea that a male boss can tell a pregnant woman when she needs to start her maternity leave, and that she will be delighted with that.
  17. Unfortunately the plot reminded me a lot of Stargate: Universe.
  18. Does anybody know whether Randy Couture, who played Bill Newsome, was L L Cool J's stand in, or maybe stunt double, please?
  19. Was this the first time they ever mentioned looking at a suspect's WhatsApp messages? I was disappointed that Hayley didn't think up a way to send the guys into a trap of some kind. For instance, presumably she knows places that are under police surveillance.
  20. I would have liked them to have Ben properly address the fact that he had lost Eden for ever. Even if he and Grace have another baby, and even if it is a girl, and even if they miraculously managed to make her genetically identical to the original Eden, and name her Eden, she still wouldn't be the same person because all her experiences would be completely different. I know he got Grace, Cal, and his mother back but he seemed to take the loss of Eden much too lightly. Remember his reaction when she was kidnapped! Now Ben and Michaela will have to worry about their Mom's "death date".
  21. Hopefully the passengers' memories will not fade, at least not until Saanvi has cured Cal's cancer! Be a shame if she forgot how to do that. There is some info in here about how they did the young Cal scenes: https://www.netflix.com/tudum/articles/manifest-series-finale-ending-explained
  22. Their callings didn't disappear, they just weren't getting through to the passengers. But Cal can intercept them by going (in his head) onto the plane and sitting in their seats.
  23. So did Cal ever try to intercept Angelina's callings?
  24. When Cal found he could intercept other passengers' callings a few episodes previously, I thought they should just have him get all the callings and have Michaela solve them all, for efficiency's sake. Now it's coming true! I wonder whether the passengers could tunnel out of the DC?
  25. Would it be an idea for the Stones to keep using the name Gabriel instead of saying Cal all the time if they want to keep his real identity secret? Also, the passengers are being closely monitored but nobody except Saanvi noticed that Polly was pregnant?
